· To support victims and survivors of abuse

· Work with individuals who have convictions and/or who may present a safeguarding risk, to worship safely

· To work collaboratively with parish safeguarding officers, church leaders, senior leaders and partner agencies

We have two offices, one based in London and one in Birmingham. We are open to candidates across both of those locations. Our CEO is based in London. Director of Corporate Services

IRW’s International Programmes Division is recruiting for the position of ‘Faith Partnership Advisor (FPA)’ on a permanent, full time basis, to join its dynamic team based out of its offices in either Birmingham, London or where IR has an office globally. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working policy.

The purpose of the role:

The Faith Partnership Advisor will play a critical role within International Programmes Division (IPD) supporting the Divisions’ strategic objectives to consolidate its identity as an Islamic faith-based institution, leading our Faith Engagement Strategy, representing our approach to important multi-lateral and other institutions, ensuring the faith sensitivity and faith literacy of its programmes and securing funding for its global operations. The role will sit within the Programme Funding and Partnership Department (PFPD) within the IPD.

Building upon our many programme partnerships with other faith-based and non-faith-based actors, this role will forge new partnerships that build on the inspiring work we have developed in the areas of livelihoods, peacebuilding, forced migration, protection and gender justice. Working with major institutional donors, the Faith Partnership Advisor will form part of a collaborative team and manage the bid process from inception to submission on new programme initiatives. Specifically, the Faith Partnership Adviser will capitalise on the organisation’s faith-based approach to development. The Faith Partnership Advisor is expected to have extensive experience preparing bids which have a faith dimension to them, centred on the added value of Islamic Relief as a faith-based organisation and the industry’s need to have faith centric development and humanitarian approaches.

The successful candidate must have:

• A graduate degree or equivalent experience in development/humanitarian areas
• An in-depth understanding of international development issues
• An exceptional understanding of the principles of Islamic jurisprudence and Islamic teaching, particularly pertaining to aid and development issues
• An awareness of the various funding mechanism that are available within the industry
• Exceptional command of English with the ability to edit, summarise and compile information quickly and often within short time frames
• An ability to speak publicly and communicate confidently within groups
• An ability to lead working groups and plan strategically
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Word and being versed with PowerPoint and Excel
• Track record of working in a similar role with an International NGO essential
• Proven ability to secure funding for Faith Partnerships

About the role

We’re looking to recruit a Philanthropy Project Manager to join our Philanthropy & Events team on a fixed term contract (17 months) and help shape a positive and sustainable future for our planet. · An understanding of working directly with donors, fundraisers and specialists to bring transformational gifts to fruition

· Experience organising group trips for donors and prospects

This is a permanent role with a salary in the range of £45,000 to £55,000 per year, plus pension (4% employer, 4% employee).

Overall job purpose

This is a fundamental role within our North regional team, internally the role is known as Local Community Officer. The future of CCT’s outstanding collection of historic churches depends on communities supporting their local CCT church with funds, events, inspiring interpretation, visitor services and preventive conservation. The Local Community Officer will engage and support communities and volunteers to care for 23 historic churches across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, W. Yorkshire, N. Yorkshire (part), ensuring each site achieves agreed standards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counselling Coordinator to work across the Greater Manchester footprint, working specifically with women. The post-holder will work alongside the Counselling & Psychotherapy Manager to support with the assessment and allocation of women for the appropriate therapeutic intervention. You will play an integral role in supporting and developing our service model, including recruitment, development and line management of volunteer and trainee therapists.

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the Procurement Manager in developing and optimising procurement processes across the charity.

The Procurement Team at Alzheimer’s Research UK ensures value and efficiency across key procurement activities. The team is responsible for developing procurement strategies, leading key sourcing projects, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing of goods and services, all while maintaining compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

In this role, you will take on key responsibility in procurement operations, overseeing supplier management, compliance monitoring, and procurement data analysis. You will act as a key liaison between stakeholders, departments, and external suppliers, ensuring that procurement practices align with the charity’s objectives. You will also lead procurement initiatives, identifying risks, improving controls, and supporting strategic decision-making.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Supplier and Contract Management

· Maintain and reviewing the Approved Supplier List, ensuring regular updates and compliance.

· Manage Supplier Approval processes, addressing supplier queries and ensuring timely assessments.

· Lead on procurement compliance monitoring, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and procurement policies.

· Review and maintain the Contract Management System, ensuring up-to-date records of agreements and renewals.

Procurement Strategy & Value-for-Money Initiatives

· Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to drive value-for-money projects and cost-saving initiatives.

· Support the evaluation and selection of suppliers, ensuring alignment with procurement best practices.

· Conduct procurement data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, risks, and inefficiencies.

Process & Compliance Improvement

· Support the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.

· Monitor procurement activities, identifying risks, irregularities, and ineffective controls.

· Provide recommendations to improve procurement operations and mitigate risks.

· Assist in conducting audits and compliance checks to maintain high procurement standards.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

· Act as a point of contact for procurement-related queries across the organisation.

· Promote procurement awareness initiatives

· Prepare reports, insights, and presentations to support decision-making.

What we are looking for:

· CIPS Qualification or equivalent (or willingness to work towards achieving it).

· Strong understanding of procurement principles, policies, and best practices.

· Significant experience in a procurement support or project coordination role.

· Experience managing procurement-related projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and reporting.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Formulas, and Data Analysis).

· Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical aptitude.

· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement data and generate insights.

· Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in procurement-related activities.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.

· Passionate about continuous improvement and delivering value through procurement.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.
