We are recruiting for a new manager to lead our Legacy and In-Memory fundraising team within this department, to grow and deliver Battersea’s strategy, products and associated marketing plans. They will do this by managing the Legacy and In-Memory marketing programme to sustain and develop legacy prospects, managing the budget and operational plans for the programme, and continuing to develop the diversity of the programme through testing scalable and sustainable recruitment channels, product offerings and retention methods.

East Sussex Community Voice (ESCV) is supporting the Sussex voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) Leaders Alliance (SVLA) in developing a new team to work on behalf of the VCSE with health and care partners across Sussex.
We are seeking a Strategic Lead, the role is part time (0.6 FTE) and will cover East Sussex. The roles require hybrid working, with the flexibility of office, home and some travel.
You will be part of a new team of 4 Strategic Leads, with counterparts based in Brighton and Hove and West Sussex, working to develop the sectors strategic role as a partner in the emerging health and care integrated structures to reduce health inequalities and improve population health for people living in Sussex.
The postholder will work closely alongside the VCSE within East Sussex and as a team with the Sussex Strategic Lead to develop and enable strong relationships to support the VCSE in its preparation and response to the developing strategic commissioning approaches in the health and care sector. Recognising the breadth of the VCSE sector, the multiple funding arrangements and the introduction of the new structures, the postholders will enable collaborative working between NHS, Sussex with the range of VCSE providers at neighbourhood, place and system level.
The work will include developing health and care partners understanding of the local VCSE eco system and developing and embedding the principles of co-design, co-production, and strategic commissioning within the commissioning and funding cycle that will drive improved population health outcomes for the integrated care system.
The successful candidate will be strategic thinker with strong leadership experience and understanding of the needs, complexities and challenges faced by the VCSE sector, NHS and local government partners. They will have excellent knowledge and understanding of the strategic national and local context and key drivers across the breadth of local health and care structures, bringing significant experience and understanding of strategic commissioning and the range of funding models and mechanisms to the team and be comfortable working in an environment of transformational change.
They will also hold a track record in engaging, influencing, and securing shared ownership to enable a collaborative vision to be realised along with experience of working in rapidly changing environments. Experience of developing and managing a varied range of projects with demonstrable success in delivery and budget management of simple projects, along with some experience of governance either through Board or Committee membership are a must.

Growing Hope is a charity providing free therapy for children and young people with additional needs in partnership with local churches across the UK. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families and hope in Jesus.
Growing Hope was founded in December 2017 and has a vision to see 20 clinics set up across the UK by 2030. We have three clinics, King’s Cross, Brockley and High Wycombe, and we are currently setting up a fourth clinic in Gateshead and a fifth in Redbridge. Each clinic is a local CIO which runs in partnership with Growing Hope and the local church. We have worked with over 700 children, young people, parents, carers and siblings since we launched. This role will report to the CEO of the charity and will work closely as part of the Senior Leadership team. The Director of Growth will have oversight of Fundraising, Communications, Marketing and Clinic Growth within the charity. This will involve line management of the Fundraising Manager and Executive Assistant in the team. The charity has a vision to champion accessibility UK wide and to set up twenty clinics in partnership with local churches by 2030, there’s a current pipeline in progress to achieve this. As the charity grows we want to ensure that we have strong financial strategy and growth plans which enable us to achieve our vision. As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. The role will be based in King’s Cross with occasional events outside of the office. Main Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed and developed as the charity continues to grow, but will include:
Leadership and Management:
- Working as part of the Senior Leadership team to strategically support the running of the charity.
- Providing line management for the Fundraising Manager, Executive Assistant and other potential members of the team as the charity grows.
- Leading and participating in prayer and worship with the team in line with Growing Hope’s Christian values.
- Ownership of income raising of £710,000 for the national charity with a view to growth each year. In addition to this an income of approximately £100,000 for each local clinic and ensuring that income targets are met across the national and local charities.
Fundraising Strategy & Finance:
- Lead the development and execution of long-term financial plans in close alignment with the charity’s strategic goals from a Fundraising perspective.
- Reporting monthly to the Growing Hope senior team and trustee board on income, forecasts and plans to hit income targets.
- Manging the fundraising, marketing and communications budget lines.
- Oversee the process of forecasting and planning income for analysis of the leadership team and Board of Trustees.
- Support fundraising strategy development and long term planning for growth.
- Explore and implement strategies for ensuring best use of charitable funds, and maintaining financial sustainability.
- Explore and implement innovative strategies to ensure that Growing Hope are raising funds as effectively as possible at both a national and a local level.
Marketing and Communication:
- Overseeing and developing Marketing and Communication strategy across the charity, including PR development, socials and internal and external communications.

ESSENTIAL

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

We are recruiting a policy officer to join our busy, supportive and high performing team. The current focus of this role is to support our analysis and influence of the national policy agenda on NHS funding and finances. This portfolio is one of the most high profile, broad and reactive areas of work in our organisation. In a given week you may be asked to do some of the following:
- Analyse a new piece of financial guidance for senior NHS leaders, and draft a briefing for members
- Devise a project plan, with support from the policy advisor, to gather insights from trust leaders on financial performance
- Write briefings for senior leaders at NHS Providers ahead of key stakeholder meetings, sometimes within tight deadlines
- Conduct research into a new policy area, and horizon-scan for upcoming milestones

Hope Place is a new supported accommodation service located in Slough comprising 10 self contained rooms with a staff office on site. The service accommodates and support people who experience moderate to high complex mental illness, many of whom will also have a range of additional and complex needs, for example drug and alcohol misuse issues and personality disorders.
Hope Place provides care and support for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including Bank Holidays. The service is covered at night by designated Waking Night staff. Support Workers will be required to work on a rota basis, covering early and late shifts, including at weekends and Bank Holidays.
The service has a focus on enabling and utilise customers' skills. Amongst other responsibilities, the successful candidates will support service users to acquire tenancy sustainment and budgeting skills, encourage and facilitate group activities, socialisation, opportunities for training and employment.
The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day to day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

The role:

What we are looking for:
· A dynamic and experienced individual, who has worked in a senior financial management role, ideally within the charity sector
· Achievement of a recognised, professional Accountancy part qualification status (for example, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
· An inquisitive mind, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial processes to non-financial staff
· Experience in the preparation of budgets, financial analysis and financial reporting
· Proven IT skills, including a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, with a strong knowledge of Excel’s functions and formulas
· Proficient in financial management software and tools

The Facility Manager will be an integral part of a team that is dedicated to the training experience of Christian workers around the globe.The Facility Manager will provide part-time maintenance support for the building, grounds, guest house, properties, and overall functions of our training centre located in Redhill.
As the Facility Manager, you will work with a Logistics Team that serves the Redhill Global Training Centre, a place for enrichment and training in Christian Ministry. Summary of role
The Community Fundraising Lead will work as part of the Partnerships team. The role will collaborate on the development of the community fundraising strategy and will lead on its implementation. The role will include engaging our community with a range of fundraising opportunities and will play a vital role in generating the funding needed for Choose Love to continue to support displaced people around the World.
Core Responsibilities

Drive revenue via community fundraising generated by individual fundraisers, employees of our corporate partner base and small businesses supporting Choose Love

Build a creative, diverse community fundraising strategy using learnings from your previous experience

Collaborate with partnerships comms and digital teams on the creation of community fundraiser journey, downloadable pack and assets for fundraisers and ensure these are kept up to date

Act as the key point of contact for Choose love community fundraisers, helping keep them informed and supported and giving them the tools to maximise their donations

Work towards fundraising targets by building Choose Love's community fundraising activity

Regularly identify and explore new opportunities for fundraising

Help to generate and realise new community fundraising ideas

Work with communications team to ensure regular updates about community fundraising activities to drive donations and inspire and ask others to fundraise for Choose Love
Events Assistance

Event support for both Choose Love events and external events organised by VIPs, community fundraisers and other stakeholders - this can be everything from tracking RSVPs to arranging printed materials, payment devices, merchandise and coordinating corporate volunteers at the event

Assisting with elements of the Choose Love Shop, as required, including logistics, facilities, technology, being an onsite point of contact for talent, corporate volunteers and other stakeholders and occasional shop shifts to help out at busy times

Running ad hoc pop up merch stalls with corporate partners

Working collaboratively with the team and Choose Love Leadership to creatively and practically build the Partnerships team’s fundraising revenue

About You:
You will need to be passionate about Choose Love’s vision and mission, building strong relationships with our local and community supporters.

As an Employment Coach with our Employcare Project you will be supporting unpaid carers living in Manchester; providing support and coaching in order for them to re-enter paid employment or voluntary roles. We are seeking a Therapeutic Practitioner to join our newly established Health Team. This specialist role will enhance our current provision and improve the quality and breadth of mental health support available to young people. The successful candidate will work within the Health Team, in collaboration with our partner organisation Camden & Islington Young People's Service, to deliver 1:1 emotional and practical support, assist in our drop-in service, and facilitate workshops for all young people experiencing homelessness.
You will specialise in helping young people improve their self-confidence while improving their understanding of difficult emotions such as anger. Additionally, you will focus on developing their thinking and practical skills, as well as coping and de-escalation strategies. Your work will aim to improve relationships among young people within the day centre, and continue to promote trauma informed working practices across New Horizon, so that all of our services are designed to address the psychological and emotional needs of young people who are unsafe or facing homelessness.
You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of an important and innovative new role. You will be provided with your own theraputic support delivered by a highly experienced clinical psychologist and regular individual and group clinical supervision.
