The role:
As the HR Advisor you will oversee all employee relations cases and improve the efficiency of our processes, providing advice and training to managers. You’ll support and resolve a broad range of HR matters throughout the employee lifecycle, as well as work on HR projects.
Key responsibilities:
As an HR Advisor, you will:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Support recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, managing interviews, and onboarding new hires.
- Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary, and performance management.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, such as diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and wellbeing programs.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on key metrics.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated individual with the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in a HR advisory role, managing employee relations cases and building strong working relationships.
- Strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
- Familiarity with confidentiality and data protection laws.
- Ability to adapt quickly and implement new processes.
- Experience with People Planner (Access), Moorepay, or Sage is desirable.

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role within our Integrated Marketing and Media department, managing a talented Media and PR team, creating impactful moments that inspire action and drive change for men.
You’ll be responsible for developing our media and PR approach, ensuring prioritisation to deliver our Communications strategy and campaign objectives. You’ll contribute to future planning, crisis planning, and measuring impact by tracking and evaluating our PR results.
You’ll work with our paid media agency to maximise our media partnerships, ensuring all our work delivers for men. You’ll work alongside our creative content team to help men affected by prostate cancer share their stories and build strong relationships with our spokespeople and key stakeholders.

JOB PURPOSE
The Administrative Assistant role provides a range of proactive administrative support to the Director of Fundraising of UK for UNHCR, as well as to the wider fundraising team. This role is therefore a key support in growing funding for refugees and displaced communities.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES
- Proactively manages the Fundraising Director’s calendar: scheduling and rearranging internal and external meetings and liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Helps schedule meetings for the various fundraising teams.
- Books meeting rooms for internal and external meetings, ensuring any required technology is set up.
- Ensures briefings for Director of Fundraising are received in advance of meetings.
- Registers in-person external guests to the office and ensures they are welcomed.
- Books travel arrangements for the Director of Fundraising and heads of fundraising.
- Minutes meetings, including documenting and sending out summary of decisions made and next steps from internal meetings.
- Updates partner information in our database (Salesforce).
- Maintains files and records on SharePoint.
- Manages invites and guestlists for donor events.
- Leads on organising logistics for twice annual fundraising all staff strategy away days.
- Coordinates with colleagues to secure content and information for donor materials (newsletters, proposals, reports).
- Helps create template documents for donors (for example, thank you emails/letters).
- Collates documentation for purchase orders and invoices.
- Builds and manages positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifies any administrative processes that could be simplified or made more efficient.
- Appropriately manages any confidential information.
- Supports other directors and fundraising colleagues on administrative activities.
- Performs other appropriate tasks or duties as required.

- Previous experience in an administrative role.

What the job involves
This is an exciting new role within our Strategic Communications, Campaigns and Brand team. The Senior Strategic Communications and Campaigns Manager will be leading strategic content and public affairs within Prostate Cancer UK.
You’ll drive all our major campaigns and the development of the multiyear messaging narrative, all while directing and collaborating with a diverse and talented team of specialists. Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing and Engagement Executive will be responsible for developing, executing and optimising strategies to enhance digital presence, drive and engagement, and foster loyal long-term support. This role combines digital marketing expertise with a passion for building and managing strong relationships with the Construction Media, Industry membership bodies and worshipful companies. - Digital Marketing Strategy

- Content Creation & Management:
- Create and distribute engaging content for charity projects and promotional materials across various channels, including social media, email, newsletters, website, press releases and marketing materials ensuring alignment with brand values and organisational goals.
- Attend project visits with the projects team to help create story content.
- Lead on content scheduling and publishing, ensuring messages are timely and relevant.
- Create and maintain a content calendar that supports key campaigns, events, and organisational priorities.
- Data Analysis, Reporting & Trend Monitoring
- Monitor and analyse digital engagement metrics (social media, website traffic, email open rates, etc.) to assess campaign effectiveness and refine strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for CE and board of trustees highlighting successes, insights, and areas for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Formal qualification in Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, or qualified by experience.
- Previous experience in communications, event management, or a related role, preferably within a nonprofit setting.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in writing compelling narrative and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.

When someone sustains a spinal cord injury, it is a life changing experience.
Back Up’s Regional Outreach and Engagement team are the very face of the organisation and are based across the UK, working directly with spinal cord injury centres, major trauma centres and hospitals – or indeed anywhere that people affected by spinal cord injury may be.
As a Regional Coordinator, you will build relationships and take ownership for what happens in your geographical area. As someone affected by spinal cord injury themselves, you will be providing peer support to newly injured people in a clinical setting, facilitating wheelchair skills sessions, making referrals for ongoing support, and supporting volunteers and fundraisers. Above all, you will be passionate about being able to demonstrate the impact of what we do and will see for yourself how Back Up quite literally transforms lives.

Muslim Aid is a UK faith-based international development organisation that provides support to communities around the world affected by disasters, conflict, or endemic poverty without regard to their social, religious, or ethnic background.

Summary of the role:
As the Trust and Foundation Coordinator, you will support the International Programmes Department (IPD) by:
- Programme Development: Enhancing institutional funding to raise essential funds for Muslim Aid’s international humanitarian and development programmes through Trusts, Foundations, and Partner Offices.
- Quality Assurance: Assisting the MEAL Manager in developing and implementing effective MEAL systems to ensure quality service delivery across all programmes.
You will play a crucial role in this newly formed unit, working closely with partners, country offices, and donors to improve systems within the IPD and support the dynamic global programme portfolio of Muslim Aid.
About the Role:
- Lead donor mapping process for Trusts and Foundations. Continuously, update this mapping document regularly based on engagement with prospective donors.
- Lead the proposal/concept development process for T&F and MA Partner offices submissions.
- Support the Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance Manager in managing a portfolio of institutional donor grants relationships and implement donor engagement strategies for prioritised donors (including FCDO, UN agencies, USAID, SIDA, START Network, etc.).
- Support the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager to strengthen MEAL system globally. This includes ensuring high-quality data tracking progress, analysing data, and generating knowledge and documentation of best practices.
- Work with Country Offices, Global Programme Development and Quality Assurance, Humanitarian and Programme units to support on disaster responses and associated appeals.
- Support the unit in providing the development and implementing capacity development workshops for the IPD team, country offices, and partner offices either face to face or virtually.

About James’ Place
James’ Place Charity was set up by Clare Milford Haven and Nick Wentworth-Stanley in 2008 after their twenty-one-year-old son, James, died by suicide ten days after a minor operation. James had no history of mental illness or depression and had sought urgent help for anxiety and suicidal thoughts, but didn’t find it.
James' Place was set up to make the experience of finding help as easy as possible. James’ Place offers men who are experiencing a suicidal crisis a brief, intensive, therapeutic intervention in a safe environment. Men who walk through the door at James’ Place will be in a space where they feel valued and respected.
The first James’ Place opened in June 2018 in Liverpool, the first of its kind in the UK, and has to date supported more than 2,300 men experiencing suicidal crisis through our innovative and safe therapeutic intervention. We provide a calm and peaceful environment both inside the centre and in our landscaped garden, accessible to men who visit us as well as their friends and families.
In 2022 we opened a new centre in London and in early in 2023 we launched an appeal to raise over £10m to fund three more centres across the country. Our third centre opened in Newcastle at the beginning of 2024, and we are currently raising funds to open a James’ Place in Brimingham.
The Fundraising and Communications team
We are a small team with big ambitions. The team comprises a Head of Fundraising and Communications, two Fundraising Managers, a Senior Communications Manager and a Senior Outreach Officer. Fundraising Executive
We are looking to recruit a Fundraising Executive to support our fundraising and communications activities and be part of our small and dedicated team. This role is a new post in the team, so it is a great time to join the charity as we invest in our fundraising and communications team to maximise our income and realise our ambitions.
About You
Having previously worked in the charity sector, you will be passionate about our cause and committed to supporting us in raising the money required to meet our ambitions.

Camp Mohawk is a local but widely known and highly respected organisation, providing support services to children and young people with special needs and their families from our beautiful woodland site in rural East Berkshire. Camp Mohawk supports over 700 families from across the South / South East region, seeing over 17,000 visitors each year.
Many of our families and young people find it extremely difficult to access public play and leisure facilities, and the challenges they face with day-to-day life means that they are at significant risk of social isolation and deteriorating mental and physical health. Recent studies have found that families who have a child with special needs are experiencing significant pressure on their family finances, over and above those being experienced by the general population. Camp Mohawk is committed to a voluntary contribution system of charges for the families who use our service and with very limited government / local authority funding available we are therefore almost entirely reliant on grants and donations to make up our annual income requirements.
We have a vacancy for a dynamic, driven and experienced individual to join our small fundraising team, focussing on generating income from corporate and community sources and working closely with our Grants and Trusts Fundraiser.
