Full-time
Contract (Maternity Cover for up to 12 months)
Job description

Location: Hybrid working - 3 days in our Belfast Centre and 2 days at home

Interviews: 10th & 11th September in our Belfast Centre

The Prince’s Trust is currently going through an exciting period of development. We have ambitions to grow our offer to young people by providing a blended approach of face-to-face and digital delivery and support. To help us on this journey we are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to lead our dynamic teams to work with young people either directly through 121 work or the delivery of programmes.

We have a maternity cover opportunity, for up to 12 months, for a Head of Delivery for Belfast. This role is a great opportunity for an inspiring leader to stabilise and grow foundations programmes across Northern Ireland. You will lead a team of Delivery Managers to ensure delivery is planned and implemented efficiently to ensure we meet targets.

You must lead the effective service delivery of your team, ensuring that every young person is engaged in the appropriate pathway of learning, development and one to one support to progress into positive outcomes. You will be a role model for your team, demonstrating best practice in how we work with young people and partners in a safe way to ensure we deliver maximum impact.

As part of the Country Leadership team, you will need excellent knowledge of working within a data and performance driven environment and monitoring quality to deliver strong results. You will have experience of working collaboratively and influencing across different disciplines. Strong financial budgeting and contract management skills are required to ensure maximum funding drawdown across various contracts.

You will work closely with the Senior Leadership team and be able to influence the direction of local delivery. You can expect to be challenged and will need strong leadership experience as well as being able to set strategic direction for the team.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to engage in challenges with optimism and resilience and be adaptive and flexible – embracing change and innovation. We have a hybrid way of working, so you will have a face-to-face presence in our Belfast Centre and work from home. There will be some travel required across Northern Ireland.

If you are up for a challenge and working in a great team, we would love to hear from you.

For more information or to apply, please click 'apply now' to be directed to our website.

What happens next?

Please submit a CV, and Cover Letter that includes your experience, transferrable skills and motivation to work for The Prince’s Trust! The Team will be in touch about the next steps shortly after the closing date.

Why do we need Heads of Delivery?

Last year, we helped more than 40,000 Young People, with three in four young people on our programmes moving into a positive outcome in work, education or training. The young people we help face a range of challenges, such as unemployment, mental health issues or some have been in trouble with the law. We believe all young people should have the chance to succeed, and that young people are the key to a positive and prosperous future for all of us. We want to continue having a positive impact on young people’s lives and we couldn’t do this without the important work of Heads of Delivery!
