GDWG has an exciting part-time opportunity to join our team as a fundraiser. In this role you will work with the Director to manage our fundraising portfolio. We are looking for either an experienced fundraiser or someone who is at entry level who is keen to learn on the job.

GDWG is a charity committed to improving the welfare and wellbeing of people who have experienced immigration detention, through offering friendship and support and advocating for fair treatment. We primarily work with people detained at Tinsley House and Brook House Immigration Removal Centres (IRCs) at Gatwick Airport. Our volunteer visitors befriend and make weekly visits to people in detention. Our advocacy project Refugee Tales calls for a future without detention, and works with people who have experienced detention to call for change. 

We require blended working from home and from our office in Crawley. This is a one-year fixed term contract with the likelihood of extension. The role requires someone who can demonstrate a high level of written and organisational skills including meticulous record-keeping in a fast-paced work environment. Fundraising experience with trusts and foundations is preferred.

Temporary workers are vital to the continuous and effective running of services across St Mungo’s. Alongside temporary agency workers, St Mungo’s has its own bank of around 370 casual locum workers – and this number is continually growing! Working as part of a small sub-team within the wider Resourcing Team you will join us as a Resourcing Administrator and play a pivotal role in supporting the recruitment, onboarding and retention of casual workers (referred to internally as locums) and temporary agency staff across the organisation.

In this varied and interesting role, working as a Resourcing Administrator you will:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support for the recruitment and on-boarding of casual workers to St Mungo’s Locum Bank, including processing a high volume of applications from various sources including staff leavers, agency workers, students, volunteers and external applicants.
• Be the first point of contact for queries from locums, managers and agencies, dealing promptly and effectively by phone, email and in person. This will include responding to payroll related queries.
• Conduct agency audits and contribute to the ongoing compliance monitoring of agencies on St Mungo’s Agency Preferred Supplier List (PSL)

The role is available on a part-time basis, 26.5 hrs per week. This equates to 3.5 working days between Monday and Friday, however, there can be some flexibility on when these hours are worked, across the week. The individual working days can be agreed with the chosen candidate on appointment.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have strong administration skills and exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to problem-solve effectively and have the tenacity to see tasks through to completion. About our training

IPSEA’s legal team and training courses set the standard in SEND law education. We run between 10 and 16 courses a month covering a range of SEND law topics for both parents/carers and professionals. In addition, we organise webinars every quarter for parents and carers on current issues we are seeing. 

Our training encompasses both spot purchase sessions, which we schedule and offer for individuals to book, and commissioned training, which organisations can arrange specifically for their teams. 

Key responsibilities

As the Training Coordinator, you will:

• Organise all our live training events (remote or in person) and handle the administration for each session.
• Coordinate the entire process from timetabling, reserving trainers, managing enquiries, handling website bookings, reserving places, setting up remote training links, and liaising with the finance team.
• Launch virtual training sessions, admit attendees, and address any ad hoc enquiries.
• Seek responses to post-training questionnaires once sessions are complete.
• Manage various online/e-learning courses, including setting up users, managing accounts, uploading updated courses, and reporting to users as required.

We are looking for a good communicator, a team player and someone who is organised and efficient. You will be confident using the telephone, emails and video conferencing and have a professional and friendly communication style. You will be familiar with inputting information into, and extracting data from, excel spreadsheets, know how to manage Zoom and Microsoft Teams and ideally have some knowledge of case management systems.

The role is a full-time position that can be office-based, home-based, or hybrid, with occasional visits to the IPSEA office in Takeley, Essex, or a London venue.

About the Role

The Lead Lawyer - Africa Death Penalty Team is responsible for coordinating Reprieve’s litigation and advocacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. At the moment, the team works on death penalty casework and abolition advocacy in Malawi, Tanzania, and Kenya. Our casework includes work on appeals to the Malawi Supreme Court of Appeal in the context of historic denials of a right to appeal and related contextual challenges; large-scale projects, such as the Kenya resentencing project, wherein we support stakeholders to ensure 5,000+ people are able to access a chance at reducing their sentence from death via a new sentence hearing, as well as supporting on individual strategic resentencing cases; and long-term regional projects, such as our strategic litigation before the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights, which challenges the mandatory death penalty, torture, and other associated violations of the African Charter. This is an opportunity to join a team that has developed ground breaking work with great success in getting people off death row, making significant contribution to legal reforms and towards abolition.

Contract, Location and Salary

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Reprieve’s London office. Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we require staff to work 2 days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home.

Your presence is important during core office hours, whether remotely or in the office. You will also be available outside of office hours in the event of an emergency, for example case developments that require urgent action. This is a role that may require travel, and work outside of core office hours from time to time.

The annual salary is £50,571 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.

About the role

The role will help to build, shape and deliver our In Memory Giving programme over the 12 months of this maternity cover role. The Grants and Programmes Officer is a crucial role, coordinating grant and programme management processes, ensuring the effective administering and distribution of charitable funds to individual unpaid carers. Working closely with the Senior Grants Manager, the postholder will act as a central liaison point for internal and external stakeholders, including local carer organisations and programme funders.

Supporting the expansion of our evolving carers grants offer, delivered through a network of local carer organisations across the UK, the post holder will provide support with all operational aspects of running our busy individual grants programme and ensure the consistent application of good programme, impact and data management practices.

Post introduction
The Media Assistant supports delivering communications, projects, and events based on
the wider CCX organisational vision for the Media Team. It is their role to work closely with
the communications specialist and other relevant stakeholders to ensure information is
collated and circulated promptly across multiple platforms and business apps and assist
with community management and scheduling of social assets. Additionally, this role will
support project and event delivery, assisting with compiling project reports, tracking ticket
sales and ensuring that any information, assets or files are stored correctly and kept up to
date.
They are expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative, and
judgement, including knowing when to resolve issues and challenges directly and when to
escalate.

This is a full-time role, but part-time will be considered.

There is an occupational requirement that the post-holder is a Christian under Part 1,
Chapter 2, section 10 of the Equality Act 2010

Duties and Accountabilities

Principal
● Social - management of organisational business apps used to plan, schedule and
post social assets across CCX social channels; overseeing community management -
responding to any messages and supporting growth of our CCX community and
followers.
● Emails - collate information to create, schedule and deliver weekly/monthly emails;
monitor CCX inboxes and respond accordingly; update relevant external
communications teams and events pages
● Website - update and monitor to ensure correct information is communicated and that
the CCX branding is adhered to
● Stories - support the effective delivery of stories to the right audiences across CCX
communication channels.
● Events—Support and collaborate with the Events team to ensure necessary
communications are included and delivered on time, as well as any production help
when required. Monitor event ticket sales on digital platforms such as Eventbrite and
administer the use of promotional codes.
● Internal communications - support delivering press releases and internal
communications in collaboration with the Content team.

Secondary
● Team and Stakeholders - collaborate, gather relevant information and ensure an
ongoing exchange of information.

General
● Maintain positive and productive relationships with key internal and external
stakeholders of the Church of England, demonstrating an understanding of
stakeholder perspectives.
● Pray regularly for the work of CCX as the foundation for growth and multiplication.
● Participate in regular prayer times and occasionally lead team prayer and team
meetings.
● The post holder may be required to undertake any other duties (including training) that
are commensurate with the role.

Data & Insight Analyst

£37,000 - £42,000 p.a. (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits

You will work closely to help the Football Foundation demonstrate its impact to communities through our work. The Insight Team are looking for an experienced nalyst, confident in building SQL databases (including writing queries independently), using data visualisation tools. and with advanced Excel skills (including building Pivot Tables and importing data using Power Query) to help us achieve our goal of providing everyone with a place to play. You will be integral in helping the Foundation to understand who we are reaching, and identify areas we can improve to help even more people!

The role

As part of our data and insight team, you will play a vital role in helping the Foundation measure the impact of its investment so that it can maximise the benefit to grassroots football. You will analyse data to make specific recommendations to inform our strategic decision making and to allow our funding partners to evaluate the impact of their investment. You will be responsible for supporting the efficient and effective delivery of insight capability for the Football Foundation and Premier League Stadia Fund.

You will be involved in developing and maintaining PowerBI dashboards as part of the Foundation’s interactive monitoring tools. You will also manage the end-to-end surveying approach for the Foundation and ensure the data we hold in our databases is accurate and reliable.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £37,000 - £42,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
