We are seeking an IT Strategy and Transformation Lead to spearhead CARE International UK’s IT strategy and oversee transformative projects that modernise and optimise our technology infrastructure. This role is a 24 months fixed term contract (subject to extension). About you

You are an accomplished IT leader with extensive experience in IT strategy and transformation, ideally within the not-for-profit sector. With a degree in Information Technology or a related field, and certifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) or cloud computing (e.g., Microsoft Azure), you bring the expertise needed to drive organisational efficiency and growth. Your project management skills, particularly in areas such as Azure migration and SharePoint implementation, are well-established, and you have a proven track record in integrating CRM, finance, and HR systems. Your leadership abilities, communication skills, and expertise in data protection and cybersecurity set you apart.

As Research Administrator, you will:

• provide administrative support for two existing longitudinal studies, from monitoring phone calls and inboxes to handling post, samples, and documents,
• deliver high-quality administrative support to the Research team, from labelling, electronic filing and monitoring stock to storage of materials in our Head office,
• mail out paperwork to study respondents and stakeholders.

As the SRH Services Manager, you will lead METRO’s London-based SRH services, overseeing a range of programs including sexual health clinics, outreach, and youth engagement. 

Role 

You will manage and oversee the daily operations of the Sexual Health Office (SHO), including staffing, results management, and helpline services. You will lead and develop a team of staff, providing supervision, training, and performance management. 

You will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation and evaluation of sexual health programmes, including the NCSP (National Chlamydia Screening Programme) and C-card (condom) schemes. You will work closely with other colleagues in our communications team to facilitate this. 

You will support engagement and reach targets for the NCSP and the C-Card programmes which we deliver across a number of London boroughs; towards this aim you will manage a small team of lead and frontline workers. This will also involve regular engagement with professional partners including commissioners, and can mean occasional support of frontline work (including facilitating outreach independently). 

You will oversee the Young Greenwich sexual health team in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, supporting a range of outreach, youth hub engagement, 1:1 support, and training throughout the borough. You will ensure that you work closely with other managers at METRO who are delivering Young Greenwich work, as well as with our Young Greenwich partners at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and Charlton Athletic Community Trust.

You will also have oversight and responsibility for analysing performance against KPIs and writing high quality reports for external stakeholders, including our funders and commissioners.

The Fundraising and Business Development Manager is a really exciting position which will play a key role in driving growth and sustainability for FearFree by identifying and securing new funding opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our service delivery.

Duration: 4 year fixed term contract (with a 3 month probationary period)

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours (3 days) per week

Salary: £22,000 per annum (FTE salary = £36,500)

Location: SCA offices at Southall Town Hall, 1 High Street, Southall, UB1 3HA

Duties:

1. Developing and delivering Human Rights Act based rights training workshops and support sessions
2. Analysing human rights law and development in cases and communicating the practical impact of these through outreach visits to local community sector
3. Develop and improve our resources and support sessions on the practical use of UK human rights law
4. Plan and develop human rights information resources, including guides, handbooks, factsheets
5. Arrange short talks for a range of audiences
6. Provide commentary via a range of means including blogs and news pieces (for SCA and for other groups and media), research papers, social media, etc.
7. Use initiative to identify and forge relationships with new partners and forums
8. Act as primary contact for the programme and policy work and ensure effective relationship management and development.
9. Ensure good working relationships with a range of key contacts including policy and programmes partners
10. Attend training courses and sessions, as may be required
11. To ensure inclusion and diversity in all aspects of SCA's operation and work
12. To carry out other duties including outreach work, as may be assigned by the Director, from time to time

Person Specification:

Essential characteristics:

1. Have at least two year’s experience of working in the charity sector, voluntary sector, or the public sector in a role with some similar role and functions
2. Experience of developing and delivering outreach work to build the capacity of people to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence to bring about social change
3. Understanding of working in the charity sector, and in particular what it means to work for positive change whilst not being a campaign group
4. Understanding of human rights law and practice and implications for diverse communities
5. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of people
6. Able to receive visitors and to deal with their queries, signposting to other agencies, where required
7. Experienced in dealing with work of a confidential nature, ensuring compliance with GDPR and other regulatory requirements
8. Experience of report writing, preparing newsletters, project monitoring reports, publicity and promotional material
9. High standard of computer literacy, including experience of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc
10. Able to work with project partners and service users from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds within an equal opportunities’ framework
11. Work related experience of conducting research either desk-based/legal research and/or participative research directly with stakeholders
12. Excellent self-administration and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to a high standard
13. Gather monitoring data and produce progress reports and work summaries
14. Recruit and train volunteers to assist with project delivery
15. To attend meetings and prepare agendas, minutes and other relevant materials

Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pride Cymru team as part of a Community Lottery funded project. The overarching aim of the Stronger Together project is to increase LGBTQ+ community cohesion and resilience across Wales. The role would have the following aims

• To support the development of a Pride organisers network across Wales enabling skill and information sharing and joint working.

• To increase sectoral resilience through collaboration, information, co-production

and relationship building.

• To advance understanding of intersectionality and the needs of underserved LGBTQ+ communities, leading to improved and more resilient services.

This role is for someone who is committed to promoting equality and inclusion. They will be self-motivated and enthusiastic and a confident communicator.

Responsibilities 

• The development and servicing of a forum for Pride organisers in Wales, working alongside external forum partners.

• To ensure communication between network partners including occasional written bulletins and social media.

• To identify opportunities for training, funding and resource development.

• To deliver the project on time and to budget, keeping track of expenditure and reporting any potential variances.

• To represent the project and Pride Cymru at events, conferences and meetings.

• To promote the project through social and other media activities in liaison with Pride Cymru’s marketing team.

• To work with volunteers to promote attendance at Prides across Wales.

• To work with the project team and charity manager  to deliver an evaluation and report for funders. 

• To undertake other tasks and responsibilities compatible with the level and nature of the post as required by the Charity Manager from time to time.

Job Aim:To work with the Youth Project Coordinator to provide a fun, engaging and exciting programme of activities for young people across the economically disadvantaged but beautifully diverse E6 area within the London Borough of Newham. You will assist in delivering against the partnerships successful EMPOWER youth services commissioning bid to Newham Council. The service provides 10 weekly universal activities across East Ham over 49 weeks of the year for young people aged 9-19 including:

• Three outdoor MUGA sports sessions per week.
• Three youth hub session per week which includes branched off projects such as Junior Gym, screen acting, Muay Thai, healthy cookery sessions, calming crafts and sports.
• EKO Pathways after school delivery sessions, helping to support children with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs.
• Outdoor parks MUGA session
• Year-round trips and residentials
• Youth Theatre
• Delivery of three-week summer holiday scheme which involves volunteering placement with accredited Sports Leadership Award for 30 participants and employment for additional young people. This includes Stepping Up life skills training and social action campaign planning workshops.
