Rinova Ltd are currently seeking an experienced Project Officer used to working with young people and adults including those entering or re-entering the world of work. The successful candidate will be committed to helping people achieve their potential and will have the skills and experience to provide; 1-1 advice and guidance and group work and all aspects of employability support and upskilling. The role will work across two separate but complementary programmes, one of which focuses on the hospitality sector – experience or an understanding of the sector is not a requirement but may be beneficial. The second project is focused on supporting young people into work or Apprenticeships and the successful candidate will provide information, advice and guidance, along with practical skills training to participants along their learner journey.

The successful candidate will take on the role of project officer, working with a dedicated team to deliver high quality, tailored provision. IAG, Employability and Apprenticeship Support Delivery
- To be accountable for achieving agreed outcomes, outputs and personal targets – including recruitment, employability training and learner progression targets
- To manage a caseload of participants requiring Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG), confidence building and employability training
- Completing appropriate action plans and reviews with participants
- To act as the single point of contact for small caseload of participants
- To complete all paperwork for client in your caseload, ensuring that accurate records are kept
- To identify suitable referral partners i.e. Job centre, training providers from which to recruit job seekers and course participants

The Finance Officer – Disability Inclusive Development (DID) will deliver the day-to-day financial administration of the DID programme to ensure all financial requirements of the projects are fully met. Key duties will include:
- To develop, review and amend coordinating and implementing consortium partner contracts and budgets to enable project delivery with the guidance of the Head of Inclusive Futures
- Coordinate the process for timely and accurate donor financial submissions including core monthly financial expenditure reports, forecasts and ad hoc requests.
- Work with the Head of Finance to develop tools to improve financial analysis throughout the project, for instance Power-BI dashboards, using data linked from the programme financial database (MyCLAIMS)
- Support the preparation of financial reports and forecasts for the donor.
- Deliver the day-to-day finance and administration tasks on the DID project including partner transfers, cost recovery, fund management, procurement, manage the assets register.
To succeed in this role you will need:

The role
This is a key role, and the post holder will need excellent project and risk management skills and to be able to use appropriate tools to monitor and report on progress, dependencies, and risks to provide assurance to the ACU senior team and partners. The Head of Programme will have experience of working at pace to deliver multi-partner projects.
The Head of Programme will work with colleagues in the ACU’s External Affairs, People and Culture, Finance, Programmes and International Mobility teams and will lead the dedicated ACU Programme team of three ACU staff, four senior assessors and 24 assessors to deliver the assessment and appeals processes and related assessment boards helping ensure delivery of the programme’s policy objectives.
The role will report to the Head of Programmes and International Mobility and provide regular updates for the ACU Leadership Team and our partners.

About the role
Our passionate Regional Casework Coordinators are SSAFA’s front line of support for members of the armed forces community in need. They are the first point of contact for all beneficiaries into the Regional Office, assessing needs and allocating the case to one of our volunteer caseworkers.
You will sometimes handle complex problems from individuals who may be distressed, identifying the presenting and potential underlying needs to determine the best way to support the beneficiary. You will have ownership of cases from beginning to end, coordinating the casework process in a timely manner and ensure that the beneficiary journey is at the centre of the Service. You will have the opportunity to shape processes and procedures within the office which will lead to improvements in the service offered to clients.
To help you establish yourself in this new post you will receive excellent training and induction to SSAFA.
Whilst the post is homebased, to be eligible for this role you are required to live in the East of England region in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, or Essex. There will be occasional travel around the East of England Region, and you will be required to travel for quarterly face to face team meetings.
About the team
The team work remotely and pride themselves in maintaining a close working bond which ensures the smooth operation of the office. You will work closely with volunteers from the five SSAFA branches in the East of England, supporting them to administer casework for SSAFA beneficiaries. The successful candidate will work as part of a team of six, which includes a Regional Casework Manager and a Regional Operations Manager.
About you
To carry out this role successfully you will have a track record of providing welfare advice in key areas such as housing benefits, debt, disability, mobility or immigration issues. You will have knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR and experience in dealing with sensitive information and people in vulnerable situations. You will be able to provide excellent customer service by telephone, e-mail and face to face. You will have used Microsoft Office 365 to a high standard. It is important that you have experience of planning and managing your own workload, with minimal supervision.
It would be advantageous if you have an understanding of the way of life for today’s Armed Forces, veterans and their families and if you have experience of recruiting and supporting volunteers. An understanding of the voluntary sector and preferably the military charity sector landscape across the South West would be valuable

About the role
The purpose of the direct marketing executive role is to support the charity’s prize-led fundraising activity, which currently consists of two products – the Breast Cancer Now raffle and the Pink Ribbon lottery. Working closely with the direct marketing officers, you will assist in delivering a wide-range of campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, email, telemarketing, digital and face-to-face marketing), which recruit and retain supporters to these products. And, you’ll provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the team and the lottery.

The Community Engagement Department enables our student community leaders to gain the knowledge, skills and connections for themselves and their student communities to thrive.
