Job Purpose
With 10 years to achieve Agenda 2030, the SDG 6 targets on clean water, decent sanitation and good hygiene are among the furthest behind. Achieving universal, sustainable WASH will require a major mobilisation of resources, public demand and political will. Reporting to the Global Campaigns Director, this pivotal role works across the WaterAid federation to achieve the political and policy changes needed to ensure universal access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene.
The Global Head of Campaigns will lead WaterAid's campaigning on one of our two global advocacy priorities (currently climate). They will drive our strategic direction and, create the campaigns plan to embed WASH in the climate change agenda, building up political momentum, broadening out our campaign alliances and influential champions. The post-holder will be a champion for campaigning within the organisation, ensuring we achieve a greater impact than the sum of our parts through effective and strategic campaigning across countries, regions and international levels to deliver WaterAid's mission of WASH for Everyone Everywhere by 2030.
Team Description
The Campaigns Team plays a leadership role across the WaterAid Federation to drive the design and delivery of WaterAid's major advocacy and campaigns efforts to achieve SDG 6. We deliver an ambitious agenda, grounded in national level change and impact, using a variety of campaigning tactics, including advocacy, lobbying and working with influential people and organisations
Accountabilities

Campaigns leadership
- Campaigning leadership of one of the two WaterAid global advocacy priorities (currently climate) in a way that delivers impact.
- Alongside our International Affairs team, lead WaterAid's international influencing strategy, working with other teams to drive our engagement in key global political processes that will drive forward our advocacy agenda, with a clear vision of what success looks like and how it contributes to the theory of change
- Build and lead public engagement and campaigning strategy to drive awareness and action on our global advocacy priority.
- Lead the transition from policy to public campaigning, working with communications colleagues to turn policy into public messaging and events.

FearFree delivers services across the South West for victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse and victims of sexual violence. We provide responsive, victim focused, and trauma informed support and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.
Following a successful trial in several surgeries, the Interpersonal Trauma Response Service (ITRS) is now being rolled out across Devon, Plymouth and Torbay. This makes it a very exciting opportunity to take ownership and be part of an innovative new service, delivering real improvements to the local community.
The aim of the ITRS is to improve the health, wellbeing and safety of people who have been exposed to trauma arising from sexual violence and abuse and/or domestic abuse. We provide adults whose health is being negatively impacted by interpersonal trauma with appropriate support. We also provide support to children affected by domestic abuse, and provide people who are using abusive behaviours with appropriate support and interventions.
Your team will provide appropriate training to GP surgeries to improve identification, enquiry and response for patients. The Specialist Children and Young People’s Advisor will work within a multi-agency system to provide trauma informed, proactive, person-centered service for children and young people and their families who have experienced domestic abuse, empowering choice through informed decision making.
Our Interpersonal Trauma Response Service brings together dynamic, passionate and committed individuals who share a common focus on delivering high quality, person-centered and trauma informed support to patient’s referred by partner GP Surgeries across Devon. The team have a responsibility to work with multi-agency partners, building awareness and understanding of domestic abuse.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months.
Key elements of the role include:
· Providing high-quality practical and emotional support and outreach to children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse
· Risk assessing and helping to keep children and young people safe through safety planning

This is a new role within the Noah’s Ark Charity. It has been created in response to a growth in our grant making programme and directly delivered services, a need to allocate greater resources to monitoring and evaluation, and a drive towards closer strategic partnership working with health board colleagues.
As programme manager you will be focussed on the management, implementation and delivery of a range of programmes across the charity, working collaboratively with strategic partners, commissioners and key stakeholders. In this brand new role, you will be required to develop and implement programme and project plans and in doing so, manage conflicting priorities, problem solve effectively and ensure key performance targets are achieved.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Grant development, management and delivery
• Working closely with the finance and operations manager to provide additional support across the end-to-end grant-making process, including development and delivery of projects
• Manage a pipeline of funding proposals, working with health board colleagues to support the development of ideas and high-quality proposals.
• Support development and delivery of funding streams and opportunities relevant to the needs of the children’s hospital and as a means of attracting impactful projects from a range of staff, including annual open call-outs.
• Carry out the initial assessment of proposals and identify strengths/weaknesses and work with applicants to address these in order to prepare applications for plans for submission for funding approval.
• Work in partnership with grant holders on implementation of projects, for example, by joining planning groups

This role is part of the Wiltshire Adult Domestic Abuse Team, which provides support to people and their families who have been impacted by domestic abuse.
Working within the team, you will work directly with victims of domestic abuse, providing them with support and educational sessions to increase their safety and the safety of any of their children.
Offering support to standard to medium risk victims of domestic abuse, key tasks will include:
- To provide high quality, person centred, trauma informed support to people impacted by domestic abuse.
- Being part of a team providing a whole family approach.
- Support people to increase their personal safety.
- Support people’s personal empowerment to take control of their lives.
- Undertaking risk assessments and collaboratively developing safety plans.
- Give practical and emotional support to families who are experiencing domestic abuse in the community.
- Deliver and facilitate groups for people impacted by domestic abuse, including the Inspiring Families Course (including evening delivery where required).
You will work closely with Children’s Social Care, offering professional consultation regarding domestic abuse cases and attending team meetings where required.
