Haven House Children’s Hospice supports hundreds of families, looking after children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. Our mission is to provide the highest quality palliative and holistic care services to children and their families in our local communities.
With funding challenges throughout the hospice sector, Finance plays a crucial role in supporting the charity and overseeing its financial management. As a key part of that work, we are now looking for a Finance Manager to oversee the operational activities of the Finance function.

They are currently seeking to appoint a HR Officer, to join their team, initially on a FTC basis, for 3-6 months, part time, 3 days per week.
As a Senior HR Officer you will provide high quality HR advice and support, including running all aspects of the HR function, as well as advising on improving HR, People and Culture processes and systems. Your duties will include, leading, advising and delivering effective end-to-end recruitment & on-boarding, improving employee experience through to payroll support, advising on salary Benchmarking and pay progressions. Important in the role is contributing to DE&I, learning culture and safeguarding, improving the appraisal process and introducing a new competencies framework, HR policy and procedures and staff benefits /rewards. You will also act as a HR business partner and act as adviser to managers across the organisation for general operations, planning, budgeting.
To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced HR professional, CIPD qualification (level 3 minimum is desirable) and have worked within the charity or similar sector. You will have knowledge of operational and strategic HR, people management and all processes associated with employee management such as recruitment and pay including benchmarking, as well as experience in developing and improving appraisal process. Lastly you will be good communicator, with strong IT and administrative skills and have an interest/ aptitude for culture and organisational development.
Please note, this is a part- time role, 3 days per week. The role is offered on a hybrid basis, 2 days per week on site, at their offices based in West London, with the option of working from home, the remaining 1 day.

Westway Trust is a community-guided organisation located in North Kensington which runs an adult learning programme of accredited and non-accredited provision across a range of subjects. We aim to enable people to progress in work, in learning and in life. Our learners come from a variety of backgrounds and have different prior experiences of learning.
The primary responsibility of the Digital Skills Tutor will be to design and deliver high quality, learner-centred teaching, and learning and assessment experiences to our employed and unemployed adult learners from Entry level to Level 1, while supporting the Adult and Community Learning Manager to achieve the Trust’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role include:
Teaching
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality teaching and learning sessions, workshops, and tutorials in line with the curriculum requirements and the needs of individual learners, ensuring learning objectives are met
- Assess learners’ abilities and identify areas for improvement, tailoring teaching and learning methods and resources accordingly
- Rigorously monitor and track learners’ progress, providing regular feedback and implementing strategies to address areas of weakness or underperformance
- Set and mark assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback to learners to support their learning and improvement
- Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment, actively promoting learner participation, motivation, and confidence in professional development
- Maintain accurate records of learners' attendance, progress, and assessment outcomes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
Administration
- To carry out and keep records of initial and diagnostic assessments, identifying areas for improvement, tailoring teaching and learning methods and resources accordingly
- To identify materials and equipment/resource needs to assist the provision of teaching and learning by students
- To develop differentiated Individual Learning Plans with students, monitor and track learners’ progress, providing regular feedback and strategically addressing areas of weakness Maintaining up to date course files and submitting accurate data on attendance and achievement within agreed deadlines
- Preparing groups of learners for accredited assessment (exam or portfolio) & non-accredited assessment (RARPA), marking assessments and taking part in internal moderation and/or consultation meetings with appropriate Trust staff
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Practical work experience as an ICT Tutor, demonstrating hands-on knowledge and skills applicable to real-world scenarios
- Experience of teaching adult learners and an understanding of appropriate teaching strategies in a similar role
- Experience of devising course outlines and schemes of work
- Experience of managing mixed groups of learners
- Knowledge and experience of working with a variety of exam boards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team
Desirable
- Understanding of the RARPA (Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement in non-accredited learning) system
- Experience of working/teaching refugees and or asylum seekers
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices to impart essential knowledge to students
- The ability to speak a community language

We are looking for a Research Manager to lead design and delivery of RBL’s research into the needs and experiences of the armed forces community.
Reporting into our Head of Policy & Research, this role will see you work with colleagues and the sector to ensure the best possible evidence is used to inform future policy, campaigns, and service delivery. You will design and deliver a research strategy which maximises impact and value for money, and ensures RBL is at the forefront of research into the needs and experiences of the armed forces community.

Key responsibilities will include:
· Design and deliver a range of research and analysis activities, making use of a range of qualitative and quantitative methods

· Ensure robust research findings are used to inform RBL’s policy positions and campaigns

The Role
In this role you will collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop and implement corporate fundraising initiatives for Thames Valley Air Ambulance. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day account management of corporate partnerships, pursuing new business development opportunities and the coordination and promotion of the payroll giving programme.
Additionally, you will contribute to projects within the Philanthropy and Partnership team, such as webinars, events, researching prospects and corporate foundations, and preparing charity of the year applications. Furthermore, you will co-ordinate with other fundraising teams to explore event and volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.
About you
As an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, you will feel confident in engaging with supporters and delivering presentations.
Your role involves managing your own pipeline of donors, so you will need to take initiative, prioritise and organise your own work, with limited supervision to achieve deadlines across multiple tasks. Problem solving skills are essential.
You will have:
- Excellent customer service skills ideally with a background in fundraising or sales.
- Strong administrative, planning & prioritisation abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Experience in new business development including identifying, researching and reaching out to cold prospects.
- Proficiency with standard Microsoft office applications
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, part time working will be considered for minimum of 24 hours per week. Some anti-social working hours will be required.

About the role
The NextGen Community Producer will play an integral role at Youth Music shaping and developing our support for young adults, particularly helping them to close the gap between learning and earning in music.
You’ll join us at an exciting time as we look to scale up and enhance our community engagement efforts. Building on the foundations established in phase 1 between 2021-2024, your focus will be on increasing participation, and fostering a more cohesive and active community. Day-to-day you’ll be programming national events, workshops and networking opportunities; brokering progression opportunities though Youth Music’s industry partners, and recruiting to paid freelance creative roles. Key responsibilities
Programme Development
- Act as the day-to-day lead and point of contact for the Youth Music NextGen Community, representing their voice internally and externally.
- Devise and implement a clear strategy for the continued growth and development of the NextGen Community, with support from the Engagement team.
- Deliver impactful programmes of activities and support that will progress young people into creative careers, broaden their networks, increase their confidence and create access to new opportunities.
- Develop and grow the NextGen Community brand and visual identity, ensuring a clear offer and user journey for those taking part in Youth Music funded projects, and other potential new members.

- Support recruitment for any other Youth Music or partner opportunities created for the NextGen Community. (e.g. gigs, festivals, activations, focus groups, etc).
- Develop the NextGen talent pool, finding new ways to promote and manage this.

NextGen Fund
- Support the marketing and promotion of the NextGen Fund.

We are looking for a training and development lead who will design and implement our training and conference programmes. You will work with legal and community organisations to understand their legal needs and tailor the training to give lawyers and advisers the tools they need to help their communities. You will develop resources and training that are practical, holistic and comprehensive and delivered through a range of online and in person methods.
We already have established conferences and a training programme, working with partner organisations to deliver excellent resources but there is a need to develop this further. You will be supported in the role by the Events and Communications Coordinator.

You will lead on the development of a new range of resources for the wider access to justice community with a focus on housing issues. You will also work closely with other staff to re-imagine and represent existing content in new ways. Principal duties and responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a lead role in identifying areas where there is a need/opportunity for targeted interventions to support the experiences of students from disadvantaged backgrounds, before putting then translating these into evidence-based proposals.
The Access & Participation Project Coordinator will be responsible for designing, implementing and delivering these programmes, as well as for reporting back on them and proactively seeking ways of driving continuous improvement.
The role will also oversee the delivery of the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Mentoring Scheme. This landmark programme, that was last year nominated at the National Diversity Awards, pairs students from ethnic minority backgrounds with LSE alumni, who provide the former with mentoring and support during their studies.
The successful person will be responsible for reviewing the programme and seeking to build upon its fledgling success to ensure it is bigger, better and more impactful than ever.
This role will also involve close working with stakeholders at LSE, especially those working on the delivery of LSE’s Access & Participation Plan (APP).
You would be joining a fantastic and friendly Advice Team, consisting of the Advice Caseworker and Advice Manager, that sits within the wider Student Voice Department, and which together oversees all of the Union’s advice, policy, democratic, campaigning and representation work.
Given the breadth of work undertaken within the department, expect there to be plenty of opportunities to grow, develop and pick up new skills outside of the main responsibilities of the role.

The PR Manager's key duties will be:
Strategy and Project Management
Work closely with team members in other departments within Save the Children to provide excellent PR support to develop and execute creative ways to deliver on Save the Children's objectives. Delivery to include:
- Brand – Build high profile and positive perceptions of Save the Children and its cause across all audiences via PR. Communicate our brand promise and build understanding with the public and opinion formers, demonstrating the depth, scale, impact and complexity of our work.
- Campaigns – Provide PR support to deliver across high–profile moments across Save the Children's major campaigns such as Christmas Jumper Day in order to achieve mass audience engagement.

Delivering Media Coverage
- Develop and execute mass-market PR plans that amplify key strategic campaigns and initiatives across the calendar year, including brand, fundraising and advocacy priorities.
- Identify and maximise opportunities to generate reactive media coverage, responding effectively to external events, news and the cultural conversation.
- Write, co-ordinate and issue media releases, statements, briefing materials and Q&As, including for high-profile spokespeople and corporate partners, if required.
- Plan, manage and participate in overseas and UK trips to Save the Children programmes for the purpose of generating coverage and content – including hosting journalists and high-profile supporters.
- Commission and manage multimedia crews and organise PR shoots, with the purpose of generating world-class film and photography content that commands media attention.
- Develop and nurture close working relationships with journalists (especially those on features, women's, lifestyle, showbiz outlets) across print, digital and broadcast media - including a diverse range of outlets beyond mainstream media.
- Leverage social media and new technologies develop digital-first PR campaigns, including influencer activations.
