About you  

The successful candidate will be employed by the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s host organisation. The new team member will be pivotal in the delivery of the Peatland Programme’s objectives to champion peatland values. They will have the level of knowledge and experience to drive forward and promote peatland restoration in the UK and be able to advocate the multiple benefits of peatlands through partnerships, strong science, sound policy and effective practice, and communication.  

They are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Communications and Engagement Lead to drive and deliver the IUCN UK Peatland Programme’s communications activity to promote the benefits of healthy peatlands to a national audience. This will be done primarily through establishing and maintaining good relationships with external contacts and partners and using these networks to identify opportunities and to build the Programme’s reach. You will lead the production of communications materials through design and appropriate messaging, assist their advocacy work, and plan and deliver events such as online workshops and their annual conference.  

They are looking for someone who is passionate about communicating peatlands to a wide audience and is creative and proactive in their approach. The peatland agenda has expanded exponentially over the last 10 years and you will need to be an excellent team player and networker to capture what is happening and communicate this to multiple partners and stakeholders. The Communications and Engagement Lead post is a standalone communications post within a small team (9 people) and your ability to quickly develop good relationships with partner organisations will be critical to your success in the role. 

You will be lead on the delivery of the communications strand of the Peatland Programme’s activity. You should have experience of designing publications, creating digital content, newsletters, running stakeholder events and managing social media accounts. You will support the wider Peatland Programme team in networking, identifying opportunities for collaboration, as well as in the production of resources such as briefings and web content.

CYP Group Facilitator – Early Help Digital Intervention Service (Children and Young People)

As a CYP Group Facilitator, you will provide online group interventions to deliver this new and exciting, high quality service in accordance with contractual requirements, and ensure that we are supporting the needs and aspirations of Hertfordshire families.

About the Service

Hertfordshire Mind Network (HMN) delivers Hertfordshire’s CAMHS Early Help Digital Intervention Service, With YOUth. The CYP Group Facilitator will be responsible for implementing and delivering the group support aspect of an innovative partnership between BfB Labs and HMN.

Together, we will provide a countywide early help digital intervention service that is accessible to children and young people and their families, aged 5-18, at the earliest point of an emerging emotional wellbeing and/or mental health need. The service will operate between 14:00 – 22:00 seven days a week.

About the Role

Our trauma-informed model offers a range of support options for CYP, based around digital interventions and supported by one-to-one and group sessions, so children and young people can engage in the way that works best for them. The service will build resilience in CYP by working with them to develop coping strategies and solutions that will enable them to improve their own health and wellbeing. We will also provide advice and guidance to parents/families/carers and professionals to provide a holistic response to supporting CYP and creating a network around them to empower and enable positive change.

The objectives of the With YOUth Digital Intervention Service are to:

• Promote resilience and strategies that encourage coping and self-management for CYP, enabling a reduction in referrals to more specialist provision.
• Increase the number of CYP who access evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Ensure more CYP in Hertfordshire have improved awareness and knowledge about emotional wellbeing and mental health.
• Develop an early intervention pathway for children and young people to enable individuals to get timely, responsive support aligned to their needs.
• Reduce waiting times for CYP MHS by providing a timely and effective early help service.
• Help parents and carers to better support their CYP through access to relevant, clear and accessible information about mental health and emotional wellbeing.
• Provide a safe and secure online environment for CYP.
• Reduce the number of CYP experiencing a relapse in their mental health.
• Contribute to the de-stigmatisation of mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Lead a small team raising the resources and engaging with audiences to support the delivery of wide ranging services helping refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants to settle and thrive locally. RESPONSIBILITIES

People (HR)

• Manage and maintain HR policies, procedures and practices including the employee handbook, ensuring they are up to date, recorded, filed and adhered to (i.e. personnel contracts, DBS, volunteers, holidays, sick leave)
• Develop and implement new systems, policies and processes that support anti-oppression, care and inclusion.

• Utilise the Core Operations budget with help from the Operations Assistant to ensure Wen is maintaining photocopier, stationary supplies, liaising with our landlord about rent, maintaining phones, health and safety, fire procedures, utilities, rates and insurance.
• Oversee the IT Coordinator to ensure licenses are up to date, IT issues are solved promptly and IT developments and changes across our two sites and hybrid team are tracked

Finance

• Work with Finance Manager and Head of Organisational Development to establish strong financial processes and policies and ensure staff are aware of the relevant ones
• Liaising with our Finance Manager on day-to-day accounting as and when necessary 
• Managing the Core Operations budget including approval of expenditure (as a signatory) and cashflow preparation for the coming financial year
• Checking and collation of monthly payroll information

People Support

• Managing the Operations Assistant and IT Co-ordinator.
• Supporting volunteers as required and oversee managing our volunteer database.
• Supporting Wen team with HR and other Operations-related matters.

Along with any other reasonable tasks and duties deemed relevant to the role.

Main Requirements

· To oversee the for the planning, management and delivery of all services, ensuring that KPIs and CIPs are fully met.

· To work closely with the Operational Manager to ensure quality delivery of services provided the Norfolk/Suffolk team,  staff and volunteers.

· To develop and review the practice wheels and Logic Models that outlines the structure and research basis of the service. To engage with the Family Action Communities of Practice, roadshows and other internal opportunities to ensure strategic aims and objectives are constantly developing.

· To ensure a high standard of quality assurance and professional practice across the staff, through clinical and line management supervision, case audits, the use of MIR, Scorecard and Service Level Reports drawing upon data, and provision of training opportunities.

· Support Operational Manger to explore and identify areas of service needs across Norfolk and Suffolk and to build network and integrational working partnerships to support this.

· To be instrumental in shaping the future of the services both in Norfolk and Suffolk as well as part of the wider Central Team.

· Be responsible for the overall management, mentoring and support of Service Coordinators and, where needed, other staff.

A fast-expanding IAPT compliant Service requires a service administrator to support a team of volunteer counsellors.  Mind in Enfield and Barnet is a local, independent mental health charity, working in partnership with other statutory and voluntary organizations to provide a range of services to the local community. That is why Little Hearts Matter exists. We wrap a blanket of understanding and care around families at every stage of their half a heart journey. We are always here when they need us.

Without donations, Little Hearts Matter would not be able to offer our services, free of charge, to support individuals and families across the UK. We do not receive any government funding for our work. Our fundraising team is essential to raising these vital funds—over £440,000 annually. About Little Hearts Matter

Little Hearts Matter (LHM) is a national charity with over 7000 members. We are the only charity in the UK that offers support and information to, and represents the needs of, children and families following a diagnosis of single ventricle heart disease (half a working heart). These congenital cardiac conditions can never be cured, even following repeated surgery, so the children must learn to live within the restrictions that their disability and fears for their future create.

Little Hearts Matter is there from the time parents learn of their child’s condition, through risk-filled treatment into a challenged-filled life at home. LHM is there to support the children, and their families, through their hopes and aspirations and the gradual realisation that they will never have the same life as their peers. Our aims are to:

Alleviate isolation by offering support, friendship and understanding from the time a diagnosis is made, through treatment decisions, hospital care and into life at home, eventually introducing parents and patients to other families who have similar experiences and shared concerns helping them to build a network of support.

Reduce fear by offering patients, parents, siblings, and the extended family a greater opportunity to understand the diagnosis and treatment paths available.

Reduce confusion and a lack of understanding by producing and supplying for free, user focused information that supports and aids understanding from the time of diagnosis, through treatments and into life at home.

Working as part of the fundraising team, the Fundraising Manager will:  

• Be responsible for their own portfolio of supporters, maintaining and growing income, regularly forecasting income and expenditure against agreed targets (circa. £200,000+ annually)
• Proactively manage and grow relationships with diverse corporate and community supporters, delivering tailored propositions where appropriate, providing excellent relationship management to maximise their impact and long-term engagement.
• Build excellent working relationships with regional partners, supporters, and volunteers, to maximise the impact of their own fundraising and identify new opportunities through their networks.
• Develop and lead on exciting and engaging events, challenges and appeals to support the Fundraising team meeting its financial objectives.
• Work collaboratively with the Chief Executive, Head of Service and Grants Manager to ensure synergy in planning and delivery of income generation targets.
• Maintain accurate records of supporter interactions on the CRM system to deliver exceptional supporter experience and harness the value of data.
• Attend events, including out of hours working where necessary (compensated by Time in Lieu)
• Be a passionate ambassador for Little Hearts Matter, always maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
• Ensure all Fundraising activity complies with the Fundraising Code of Practice, GDPR guidelines, EDI principles, and other relevant regulations, guidance, and policies.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.

Working under the guidance of the West Yorks Peer Programme Manager, this post will continue the development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers across identified areas of the West Yorkshire ODN network. We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Project Worker to join our Complex Needs Services in Camden. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team providing tailored support to clients with multiple and complex needs, including mental health challenges, substance use, offending behaviour, and physical health issues. Using a Biopsychosocial model and working within a Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE), you will deliver high-quality, holistic support to help clients achieve stability and move forward in their lives.

• Providing personalised support to clients with multiple disadvantage, including poly-substance misuse, mental health concerns, and histories of trauma.
• Conducting needs and risk assessments, and work collaboratively to develop and implement support plans.
• Promoting harm minimisation and recovery, enabling clients to set and work towards their own goals.
• Supporting clients to develop life skills, manage relationships, build social networks, and access external services and community resources.
• Facilitating group activities and structured interventions as part of our in-house recovery programme.
• Working in a multi-disciplinary setting, coordinating with other professionals to create integrated care plans.

About you:

• Experience of working with multiple disadvantage individuals, including those with substance use, mental health issues, or histories of offending and trauma.
