Salford CVS is seeking to appoint to the position of Director of Operations.
The Director of Operations will have wide-ranging responsibilities for the development, implementation and performance of all operational delivery projects and programmes of work. This is a senior role within our well-established charity, and we will expect you to play a proactive and productive role as a member of the organisation’s small Senior Management Team.
You will lead, direct and manage all operational delivery projects and programmes across the organisation. Responsible for all aspects of operational management, you will ensure the high-quality delivery of programmes in line with contract and funder requirements. You will personally line manage all operational Programme Managers, ensuring that service/programme operational plans (including KPIs) and individual staff work plans are in place and being adhered to and delivered against.

Role Overview
The VAWG Service Manager is primarily responsible for leading the strategic development and delivery of The Angelou Centre’s (AC) holistic, trauma informed and culturally competent VAWG services for Black and minoritised women and children by:
- Leading, managing, developing, fundraising, monitoring and delivering the operational running of high-quality VAWG frontline services for Black and racially minoritised women and children across the Northumbria Combined Authority (NECA)
- Developing, reviewing and supporting the delivery of the Centre’s VAWG training to partners and agencies
- Ensuring that all service safeguarding measures are in place and that AC’s strong track record of institutional advocacy and prioritisation of women and children rights remains central to services
- Initiating, developing and maintaining effective relationships and formal partnerships with organisations within the VAWG sector locally regionally and nationally
- Overseeing representation at multi-agency partnerships and implementing and supporting the development of the strategic direction of VAWG services and VAWG Training offer
- Working closely with the Refuge team to ensure both residents and non-residents have access to golden standards VAWG services and are supported in a way that is consistent across the VAWG service.
- Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the service, effective case management as well as managing a caseload of more complex cases

This role within a team of 13 developers will allow you to use your strong technical experience to serve people living in poverty in more than 50 countries around the world through providing effective applications for the design, monitoring & evaluation of our front-line projects and for our finance staff.
This is a key time for the team as we start the migration of our project design, monitoring & evaluation application to Angular. In this post you will work alongside our other Angular developers, sharing their expertise and building an application which will enable our staff and local church partners around the world to demonstrate the amazing impact of our work in the communities we work with.
The team is also crucial to our finance staff, being responsible for the development and support of an Angular application which is critical for finance data entry across the countries we work in. Although not essential, experience of Power BI would also be useful as we extend our reporting suite, using our SQL Server data warehouse to demonstrate the impact of our work and provide vital financial information to staff across Tearfund. As a result, a new team has been formed, which will focus on developing and delivering high quality programmes in England, Wales and Scotland. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Programme Management and Coordination:
- Responsible for programme management of the ES2H programme. Working with the Director of Programme Delivery, and with Subject Matter Experts who are responsible for the four workstreams of the programme (Advocacy & Policy, Research, Scalability, Construction).
- Responsible for the development and utilisation of high-quality programme management tools and internal coordination forums, including for programme planning, performance monitoring, communication, internal and external reporting.
- Working with others, support the development of appropriate Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts, the ES2H Coalition and other partners on the continuous improvement of the ES2H Toolkit, supporting new ideas to fruition, developing content into engaging and appropriate documents and other required communication and programme tools.
- Support Subject Matter Experts and others where appropriate to develop programme and project related reports, to develop proposals and communication content, support impactful partnerships and provide project-related administration capacity.
- Support the Director of Programme Delivery to ensure programme outputs are accessible, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to provide the best possible support to target communities.
External communication and partnership management:
- Support external events and activities as well as high quality partnerships and strategic relationships.
- Work with the Fundraising & Partnerships team to support high quality partnerships and strategic relationships through provision of content for external communication, programme updates and reports, and the maintenance of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning frameworks.
- Lead the coordination of the ES2H Coalition and support the development and management of other programme related networks and groups.
Budget management, reporting and monitoring:
- Support the Director of Programme Delivery to develop the ES2H programme and project budgets.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to monitor and track programme spend, flagging issues and risks, and ensuring regular reports are available for budget holders and the Finance Team.
- Provide regular inputs and updates for relevant sections of the organisational Performance Framework, Risk Register and any other operational requirements.
Person profile:
- Strong experience of programme and project management, coordination and monitoring.
- Experience of working in a similar organisation, collaborating across teams and operating in a highly effective way across a diverse, networked structure.
- Experience of producing impactful content for programme tools and reports, external events, website and other digital platforms.
- Good budget management skills, and a working understanding of Excel.

The Programme Officer (PO) will be part of a five-person team, working under the direction of the Senior Programme Manager to advance the Foundation’s advocacy and creative work across and around our three thematic areas. The Programme Officer will play a leading role in integrating creativity into the Foundation’s advocacy work while making an important contribution to our flagship creative programmes. This role will design and deliver events, such as the Commonwealth People’s Forum and the Critical Conversations series, and support other advocacy initiatives.
The Programme Officer will also support our intergovernmental liaison and external outreach, maintaining effective relationships with the Commonwealth Secretariat and other key partners. They will also help shape and deliver the Programme’s creative output, including the Commonwealth Short Story Prize, while actively embedding creativity across our advocacy work.
Key responsibilities of the Programme Officer include:

About the role
We are looking for a NTD Programme Manager to implement NTD Programmes in Liberia, and oversee the development, design, budget, and monitoring and evaluation of the programme.
As the NTD Programme Manager you will deliver the NTD Programme targets, programme management guidance, and direct technical support to build the development of integrated NTD programmes and advocacy for the elimination of NTDs in Liberia, as well as being responsible for maintaining an excellent working relationship with our partners, particularly the Ministry of Health.
Further responsibilities include:

Lead on supporting the country team in rolling out real-time monitoring of MDA coverages and evaluating NTD programme performance.

Assist in preparing Budgets for projects and monitor expenditure against these, advising the Senior Programme Manager on financial trends etc.

Represent Sightsavers at appropriate national/regional/global forums.

Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will have extensive experience of strategic programme development within an INGO, possess technical knowledge of Onchocerciasis (Oncho) and Lymphatic Filariasis (LF), and have experience of managing an integrated NTD programme in Africa, ideally in an international context.

As Head of Programmes, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the quality, delivery and impact of all our capacity-building programmes. You'll be based in one of our offices across SNG's operating area, ideally Wembley as there will be a big focus on working with our London and Hertford based suppliers and community partners. This role involves travel to other offices and events which will require some flexibility and ideally access to a car.
The Role
The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.
You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.
Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.
The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
- Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
- Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
- Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
- Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
- Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
- Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met
- Demonstrate everyone safe and well everywhere, every day by making health and safety a primary consideration in your decision making
What we need from you
A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

Purpose of the role
Join Brook as a Women's Health Coordinator to lead the delivery and coordination of Brook Aspire's menopause support services for businesses and individuals. This role involves delivering organisational training and health and wellbeing outreach, particularly in workplace settings. Alongside this, you will oversee and develop Brook Aspire's services, ensure their growth and quality, while building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
Essential criteria
- Good understanding of sexual and reproductive health, relationships and emotional wellbeing, including latest research and evidence in the space.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to tailor communication to different types of audiences.
- Experience of service/ project management/ coordination including planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Ability and willingness to travel to fulfil the outreach nature of the role.

Our grants programme is growing, and we are proud to have invested almost £1million into local cancer services in 2024 alone. Along with our major capital appeals we are supporting an increasing range of wellbeing projects for people living with cancer, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person with great communication skills to help us develop our grant-making further.
Our Grants and Projects Coordinator will work with applicants from the start of their relationship with us, identifying potential partners, supporting grant applications, and ensuring successful applications lead to successful project launches. They will also support the development of our own commissioned and internal service delivery.

This Suicide Liaison Manager will manage a team of Suicide Liaison Workers, a CYP Counsellor and work with a team of volunteers who deliver support to adults, children and young people who are bereaved by suicide in Hampshire, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight. The post holder will implement and monitor the day-to-day operations of the service in line with contractual obligations, ensuring grieving people can access a range of high-quality bereavement support and are informed about the services available to them.
