Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
- Oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with the foundation’s strategic goals across UK and Brazil

- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the charity sector, advising senior management on compliance and regulatory matters.

Risk Management:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify and mitigate financial, operational, and reputational risks.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor the finance analyst, promoting a culture of transparency, integrity, and excellence.

- Support the fundraising team in grant applications, ensuring financial compliance and reporting for all grants and donations.
Key Requirements:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or other relevant professional qualification.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of senior financial management experience, preferably in the charity, non-profit, or social enterprise sector.
- Strong understanding of financial management, charity governance, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in managing external audits and working with auditors, legal professionals, and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent knowledge of charity tax laws, financial regulations, and best practices.

The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide support and interventions to those affected by domestic abuse to empower and support and break the cycle of domestic abuse throughout their journey with Stop Domestic Abuse, regardless of risk. The Navigator will be committed to family work and proactively work to recognise and implement solution focused actions to ensure eradicate domestic abuse from families lives.
The Domestic Abuse Marginalised Communities Worker will provide additional expertise to the wider team and enrich the service with specialist knowledge and guidance relating to victims who may experience additional barriers to accessing support from our service due to their ethnicity. The Lead Navigator will develop initiatives, workshops and training packages for both internal and external professionals. The role will encompass peer to peer support, direct one-to-one support to victims who may be at medium or high risk of harm, whilst also engaging with communities and local organisations in the local area to improve our response to domestic abuse. This role does not involve the line management of staff.
The Portsmouth Service operates as one team, and all staff are responsible for taking referrals for all aspects of the service, offering immediate support, advice and assessments to clients or people contacting the service, welcoming families into refuge and completing relevant paperwork, and ensuring the smooth running of the service. This will include providing cover when required for absent colleagues to ensure that the core functions of the service are delivered and responding to changing demand in service provision. The Portsmouth Service is a team committed to whole family work, when safe to do safe, creating a family journey through the service.

The last 4 years have seen Change for Good go from a mentoring project in HMP Wandsworth to an innovative resettlement charity serving 5 prisons. As we grow further, we need a CEO who can lead in the development of our strategic plan; inspire, train and support our small staff group in delivering our programmes; support the vital role of our volunteer mentors; and develop the roles of members of our community peer support group. Tameside SHS is a mental health, 24 hour supported housing and community-based service, working to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access in their local community, including outreach support, tenancy support, peer support and supported housing. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a staffed service to our residents aged 18 and upwards. Care to join us?
As a Specialist Intervention Coach your challenge will be to monitor, develop and share good practice across staff teams to ensure individuals and teams are better equipped to work with a greater range of challenging support needs. We’ll also rely on you to provide high quality intensive support using psychotherapeutic intervention and support the staff team in delivering these. Working to deliver the guided intervention model and brief interventions for Waythrough as a requirement of service expectations will be important too. What’s more, when it comes to seeking to maximise a multi-agency approach for complex cases, provide effective leadership in formulating support plans or ensuring data entry to reporting systems is accurate, timely and in line with quality assurance requirements, again we’ll count on you.
You’ll be working closely with a range of professionals to ensure risk assessment, management and safeguarding requirements are effectively planned, assessed responded to and met, so good verbal and written communication skills are essential. You’ll also need a track record of dealing with ‘high risk’ clients and managing resources effectively, as well as experience of carrying out investigations and writing reports and recommendations. Solution focused and outcome driven, you’re great at leading, supervising and motivating staff and delegating work appropriately, have a firm but inclusive, open and encouraging management style and lots of tact and diplomacy. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Income Generation & Fundraising
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with GISF’s 2025-2030 strategy.
- Identify and secure funding from government donors and other sources to build a robust opportunity pipeline that supports GISF’s initiatives.
- Work closely with the Finance team to set income targets, and with the Communications team to create impactful campaigns for diverse supporter engagement.
Partnership Development

The Senior Youth and Play Worker will play a pivotal role in the Children, Young People and Families team, working as the senior practitioner and ensuring the smooth running of all our programmes and services. About this key role
Our successful candidate will carry out initial and ongoing assessments of the support needs of individual participants, before providing them with essential advocacy, mentoring, guidance and training interventions that meet their needs, plus engage and case-manage eligible participants on the CFO Evolution programme by providing ongoing resettlement support. You will be expected to create an Action Plan, plan and design appropriate activities, training programmes and interventions, and establish and deliver high-quality, engaging one-to-one and group sessions, while also monitoring participants’ progress and providing timely monthly reports.
We will also rely on you to develop strong relationships with HMPPS/agencies offering support, where appropriate provide holistic wrap-around with general elements of resettlement support and working collaboratively plan for and facilitate effective Through the Gate and warm handover to the relevant Support Worker in Community.
What we are looking for
- Working intensively with individuals and supporting their progression
- Working with offenders, or those disaffected and marginalised from mainstream services, in training, guidance, advice and counselling environments would be advantageous
- High level guidance skills, with the ability to deliver one-to-one and group sessions
- Knowledge of the issues affecting the rehabilitation of offenders and desistance theory
- Knowledge of HM Prison environments and/or training, education and employment opportunities locally and nationally, and of training and guidance
- Demonstrable ability to support and motivate learners with multiple complex needs
- The ability to effectively assess evidence and identify assessment criteria using a range of assessment methods
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- A flexible, collaborative and professional approach to your work.

Recognising that management of perpetrators requires a multi-agency approach, Foundation Practitioners are co-located into police high harm teams across the county to assist with the identification and engagement of domestic abuse perpetrators. For those who do not respond to risk management plans and interventions, Foundation Practitioners support the police in the deployment of monitoring, tracking and disruption tactics.

Development and Renumeration
We are committed to the development of our staff and there are plenty of opportunities for growth at Hampton Trust, our roles range from a Band 6 (entry level) to Band 1 (Chief Executive) and we offer continuous training to support you in your development.
This role is a Band 6 and is offered on a part time basis of 22.5 hours across 3 days and requires a minimum of two days in either our Ashurst office in Southampton or at one of our co-location venues across Hampshire.
