Working closely with schools in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, you will support a diverse staff team to deliver a large NHS contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Line management of a team of mental health professionals and of trainees based in schools.
- Contract management (Large NHS contract)
- Responsible for supporting the team
- Holding relationships with all key stakeholders (NHS partners, ICB, Schools, Local Authority, university partners)
- Ensuring service meets or exceeds all targets.
- Building on an existing programme and expanding the service into new schools using learning so far.
- Working closely with the Clinical Lead to ensure safe delivery of services and that staff are supported.
- Ability to support staff to work with diverse range of children and families, and tailor services to reach young people who may be disengaged from school, have specific additional needs or diagnoses.
You will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience of managing a complex service supporting young people with a variety of needs, ideally within a mental health context
- A passion for supporting and developing staff
- A commitment to improving the lives of young people living in our boroughs through high-quality mental health support.
- Experience of working on (ideally managing) a commissioned service within a Third Sector Organisation
- Ability to engage and maintain relationships (e.g. with schools, commissioners)
- Experienced in delivering a service within budget and meeting all KPIs and contract requirements.
- Skilled in working closely with colleagues (e.g.Clinical Lead) and clearly sharing roles and responsibilities.
- Having a creative approach to problem solving and developing the service to meet the needs of diverse young people, families and schools.

We are recruiting a policy officer to join our busy, supportive and high performing team. The current focus of this role is to support our analysis and influence of the national policy agenda on NHS funding and finances. This portfolio is one of the most high profile, broad and reactive areas of work in our organisation. In a given week you may be asked to do some of the following:
- Analyse a new piece of financial guidance for senior NHS leaders, and draft a briefing for members
- Devise a project plan, with support from the policy advisor, to gather insights from trust leaders on financial performance
- Write briefings for senior leaders at NHS Providers ahead of key stakeholder meetings, sometimes within tight deadlines
- Conduct research into a new policy area, and horizon-scan for upcoming milestones
- Collaborate with communications colleagues to draft a press release or blog about the financial and operational challenges facing trusts
- Organise logistics for a roundtable between our members and NHS England
Background knowledge of the NHS would be advantageous but is not essential for success in this role. The key requirements are set out in the person specification below, but particularly:
- to have an appreciation of the policy implications of the portfolio and interest in learning about the detail of these
- ability to organise your workload (with support from the policy advisor)
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to build effective working relationships both within and, where appropriate, outside the organisation.

Working Well Trust is a mental health, learning disability and neurodiverse and employment focused charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, or who have learning disabilities and/or who are neurodiverse through training and employment.
This new role of HR Manager will be working with our team to support their employment and wellbeing, as well as providing the key structure and systems to enable the Trust to deliver to our clients and funders. Over the last couple of years we have expanded and although we are proud of how we support our clients and colleagues it is now clear that we need in-house support to ensure that this continues and to help drive improvements.
As this is a stand alone post we do need someone who is experienced and CIPD qualified. Experience of the charity/third sector is not essential nor is management experience. Commitment to promoting welfare and inclusion are essential requirements for the role.
You will be reporting to the CEO but also be the key employee on the People and Culture sub committee which brings together trustees, including a HR professional, and staff to discuss and plan work priorities.

The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.
We are looking for a Mental Health Advisor with experience of working within mental health services, including to support prevention, recovery and self-management. Applicants should have experience in completing assessments, managing a diverse caseload and working in a busy work environment, and possess effective skills in communication. An ability to work independently but collaboratively, to be proactive and show initiative is essential for this role.

YMCA West Sussex Transitional Housing provides safe, secure accommodation for young people aged 18-25, who have been, or are at risk of homelessness. Our staff team comprises of Supported Housing Support Workers, Housing Mobile Night Workers and two Supported Housing Managers. We offer a support package alongside the accommodation to actively encourage residents into education, training, employment or voluntary work.
In delivering the role, you will work with the Deputy Supported Housing Manager and the wider housing team to provide effective day to day management of our transitional accommodation service. You will have your own caseload of residents, working creatively and effectively alongside young people to develop their assets and talents and to acquire the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. You will contribute to the smooth and safe running of the service by providing consistency and reliability. You will have a calm, yet assertive manner, being able to handle potentially difficult situations. You will also support young people to safeguard themselves against abuse and risk. There will be times when lone working will be a requirement for this role.
This role is based on site in Horsham and will cover Transitional services across Horsham, Crawley, Burgess Hill and Worthing. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

We are looking for an Advocate to join our team in the North East. We are seeking applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn, a desire to promote the rights of children and young people and
- already have an IAP City and Guilds Level 3 or IAQ City or Guilds Level 4 in Advocacy, who have completed the specialist unit in Independent Mental Health Advocacy, or
- a wiliness to undertake the IAQ City or Guilds Level 4 in Advocacy.
You will work to empower and support children and young people to ensure their voices are heard within decision–making processes that effect their lives.
You will be a capable ambassador for Coram Voice with the ability to engage effectively with professionals, carers, other stakeholders and most importantly children and young people with a mental health needs.

Manchester Mind is looking to recruit a full-time (35 hours) Community Engagement Worker. The role will involve working in a collaborative and person-centred way across Primary Care in Manchester, Bolton, Salford, Wigan and Trafford, with people who have lived experience of mental health problems in order to promote take up of annual health checks and to improve physical health.
We would like to work with people who are experienced, dynamic and passionate about being able to develop and deliver accessible mental health support services.
Position: Community Engagement Worker (Improving Physical Health)
Salary: £25,220
The post is Full-Time (35 hours per week).
Fixed-term until March 31 2025, to be reviewed dependent on future funding opportunities.

Are you an enthusiastic people-person with a warm and friendly disposition? We are looking for a collaborative, self-starter to join our hard-working support and outreach team. Based in Scotland you will be responsible for maintaining our relationships with the main aplastic anaemia specialist treatment centres in Scotland as well as supporting our Scottish community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing team within The Aplastic Anaemia Trust (AAT). Our team is small, but mighty. Our current Support & Outreach (S&O) team is managed by our S&O Programme Manager and comprises two part-time S&O coordinators who have lived experience of aplastic anaemia. Lived experience is hugely important to us but is not an essential criterion for this role.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This opportunity is for a permanent contract, starting immediately, with a six-month probation period. You will work 14 hours a week during core working hours, your working hours can be arranged flexibly to suit you although we will require you to attend staff meetings which take place on Thursday mornings.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be warm and engaging, with experience of supporting people with rare disease and adept at developing and managing relationships, with a passion for ensuring that our community receive the support they need, when they need it most.

The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only UK charity providing information, advice and support to people affected by rare disease Aplastic Anaemia. Our vision is that everyone affected by Aplastic Anaemia in the UK should feel empowered and have access to the best possible treatment, care and support so they can lead full and healthy lives. We support our community through one of life’s toughest challenges – diagnosis with a rare bone marrow failure. We currently support around 2,400 people and have around 30 volunteers.

Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, physical disabilities, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental or physical health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
We are recruiting an employment worker, with lived experience of mental health, to join our employment service in the London Borough of Enfield.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to help people progress towards their employment goals. You will receive training in pre-employment and signposting, and in supporting people with mental health issues. Ideally you will have experience of peer support and have a relevant qualification but we can arrange training if needed.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in health, and the role it plays in the workplace. The successful candidate will need to have good organisational and research skills as you will be arranging training, accessing volunteering and work experience opportunities according to client action plans.
The role involves hybrid working and is for 35 hours per week.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in progressing towards their employment goals. You will deliver pre-employment and employment support; providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local organisations to enable clients to access opportunities
You will work closely with clinical teams, the DWP and local agencies, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

About the role:
Floating Support Workers in the Westminster Service will be part of a large, dynamic team providing an effective and empowering service to vulnerable clients across a variety of tenures.
You will be responsible for delivering person-centred, psychologically informed support to a range of individuals, with varying needs, to enable them to sustain their tenancy, enhance their wellbeing, build resilience, and achieve their goals and aspirations. The work you undertake will really make a difference to people’s lives.
All work undertaken will be in line with planned support, making sure that clients are actively involved and that the support offered is full and holistic.
The Westminster Floating Support Service is funded by the Westminster Council to provide flexible housing related support in order to enable Clients to continue to live independently within their own home, regardless of tenure type. The service is delivered in a manner that is respectful of service user’s racial, cultural and/or religious backgrounds and respects individual dignity. The support provision operates as part of an overall network of support and care for clients working closely with other professionals involved in the support and care of the individual.
All staff are provided with continuous learning opportunities and SHP provide a comprehensive inhouse training programme.
About you:
- Understanding of how to support clients to carry out tasks such as budgeting, calculating benefit entitlements and understanding rent arrears and housing options.
- Experience of working in a client-centred support service working with vulnerable people presenting significant levels of need and risk, with an ability to devise and deliver on action plans through high quality risk management and needs assessment.
- A demonstrable level of experience and/or understanding of the range of approaches appropriate to working with issues such as substance use, mental and physical ill health, dual diagnosis, challenging behaviour, risk of homelessness, offending, antisocial behaviour, social isolation, domestic violence, gang-related issues, young parents, leaving care and learning disabilities.
- Able to evidence experience of delivering on the principles underlying a quality service, which is client-focused and with a proven ability to empower clients.
- The ability to be self-motivating and manage time effectively, prioritising different areas of work according to need to ensure deadlines are met while maintaining work of a high standard.
- The ability to use a computer to input data accurately, to communicate effectively through emails and to produce good quality minutes of meetings, client notes, letters and reports.
