What you will do:

Identify, develop and maintain effective partnerships with local communities, volunteers and key partners across the    region to engage them in the prevention of young suicide.

Proactively promote suicide prevention including raising the profile of PAPYRUS and engaging with those personally affected by young suicide.

Equip a wide range of stakeholders to enable them to create sustainable suicide safer communities through the provision of tailored support, training and education.

Deliver training and raise awareness of products to a variety of groups including professionals, parents, young people, volunteers and other trainers.

Contribute to the development and review of projects, and education and training products, in line with the Strategic Plans.

Contribute to and promote campaigns, training and opportunities as outlined in the Area and Strategic Plans.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities

A proven track record of networking and building and managing effective relationships, tailoring the approach to meet the differing needs of the audience

Experience as a qualified ASIST Trainer or willingness to gain qualification and experience

Experience of using own initiative and creativity to develop a project, programme or area of work

The ability to travel to different locations across the East Anglia to attend meetings, events and deliver training.

A degree or professional qualification in Education, Counselling, Training, Psychology, Community Development or Youth Work

The role

The Finance Processing Manager will work within a busy finance team. This role would suit someone who is well-organised and proactive. The role has responsibility for managing two Accounts Assistants and Accounts Payable positions. The main responsibilities of the role include line-management of Accounts Assistants and Accounts Payable, processing the monthly payroll including overtime payments, student loan and season ticket loan deductions, raising invoices for grants and SLAs on Access Dimensions, monitoring debtor account balances and ensuring timely payments are made, administering pension payments and dealing with the pension provider, completing ONS surveys and reports, and monitoring creditor account balances and ensuring timely payment runs.

About you

You are a part/fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) with proven experience in a finance-focused role, managing and mentoring a small team. You have a strong attention to detail, particularly in financial record-keeping, payroll processing, and managing debtor and creditor accounts. Your organisational skills and proactive approach enable you to handle multiple tasks efficiently. You are proficient in financial software, such as Access Dimensions, and the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will join a supportive finance team, where your leadership and collaborative skills will be highly valued.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Programme Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract and support the effective delivery of the Student Space programme. In this role, you will play a vital role in programme management, including stakeholder relationships, maintaining a university directory, and supporting digital, data, and programme reporting.

To provide programme management support within Student Space. Work with the wider team to develop, promote and continuously improve the platform and services with specific responsibilities for programme data, stakeholder management, university directory development and administration.

• Provide effective coordination and delivery support to the Student Space programme.

About Us

The Foundation of Nursing Studies (FoNS) is a charitable organisation that works across health and social care, UK-wide. For over three decades FoNS has supported nurses and midwives, and their teams to transform their ways of working towards care, practice and culture that is person-centred. 

Purpose of the role

Co-production in terms of design, delivery and evaluation is fundamental to the programme, and so we are looking for a person with direct lived experience of MHLDA inpatient services to join the FoNS team and to lead on co-production, bringing a lived experience lens to our team.

As an organisation we recognise that FoNS is at the start of our co-production journey. So, whilst the primary focus of the role is leading the co-production element of the mental health programme, working closely with the programme lead, a secondary purpose is supporting the development of co-production throughout the organisation.

Responsibilities will primarily consist of:

· Working as part of the FoNS Leadership Team for the FoNS Ward Manager Programme including attending relevant meetings with NHS England

· Playing a leading role and taking operational responsibility for co-production within the FoNS Ward Manager Programme. This includes meaningful engagement of persons with lived experience of mental health, learning disabilities and autism, families and carers, and staff throughout programme design, delivery, governance and evaluation

· Working as a part of the FoNS team, bringing a lived experience lens to support, promote and develop co-production across the organisation

· Understanding lived experience from a range of sources ensuring a broad demographic is represented and feed this into the FoNS team and co-production work

· Visibly advocating for lived experience involvement for FoNS

· Contributing to the ongoing development and lived reality of the FoNS’ ways of working

· Supporting FoNS with the co-creation of their next strategy which will commence in November 2024

A picture of day-to-day working might include:

· Preparing for and contributing to relevant meetings and monthly reports for NHS England

· Contacting, building relationships with, and offering support to persons with lived experience who are already or who may be interested in contributing to the co-production work

· Working with FoNS Finance to ensure all persons involved are fairly paid for their participation

· Meeting with FoNS Ward Manager Programme Lead to discuss ideas for evaluation of the current programme to inform co-production work moving forward

· Planning and facilitating online and face-to-face groups as part of the co-production process

We are looking for an Integrative Counsellor and a Senior Peer Support Coordinator who have experience of supporting people with grief and loss along with a good understanding of the impact of miscarriage and baby loss.  

To succeed in the role, you will need excellent communication skills, be empathetic and have the ability to build positive relationships with clients and other professionals working in this field. You will be confident, driven and have the ability to work autonomously.

The Integrative Counsellor will be responsible for assessing new clients into the service. You will have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of individual clients using appropriate & tailored interventions.

The Senior Peer Support Coordinator will have a good understanding of co-production and peer support with the ability to effectively facilitate group support.

About Viewpoint 

Viewpoint develops innovative ways that support people with a lived experience of mental health issues and / or addiction challenges. Across Hertfordshire we work with over 800 experts by experience and put them at the centre of everything we do. We support people to be independent, have their say on the quality of services that they experienced and influence change to those services. 

Our support is flexible and needs-led and is delivered through outreach groups, one to one interaction or remotely.

Staff or members who have a lived experience of mental illness and / or addiction facilitate our programmes.

We are an award-winning social enterprise whose mission is to support young people to develop the emotional and relational skills that will support them to thrive, through combining non-contact boxing with evidence-based ideas from psychological intervention. As a values-based organisation we're seeking someone with a commitment to our mission, vision and values; as-well as a solid understanding of youth work, mental health, or boxing/sport for change work and ability to use this to guide leadership decisions and actions. 

The CEO will lead IYC’s services and charitable activities, ensuring effective day-to-day management and development of services and income, while maintaining a positive stakeholder engagement that aligns with its strategy, and ensures future success, financial sustainability, and impact.

This role is part-time but will include occasionaly evenings to support core project delivery times and board meetings. Regular in person working in Inner London locations is a requirement. Other activities can be completed via remote working.

This post is funded through the Health & Wellbeing Grant through NHS Cheshire & Merseyside and Cheshire West & Chester Council. We are looking for someone to take forward our successful project ‘Bridging the Gap’ which was a new project within the organisation from January 2022. This is extension funding for an additional period until at least 31.12.25.

The work focuses on reducing health inequalities and access to primary care for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities in Cheshire West. The project has three key aspects:

1. Health promotion within BAME communities

2. One to one support for individuals

3. Healthcare support to health agencies

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develop key materials to market and promote the project

2. Network, collaborate and maintain relationships with local VCFS organisations, public sector and healthcare providers to promote the project and its objectives.

3. Engage with BAME communities across Cheshire West to understand their health care needs and enable them to access health services

4. Pro-actively support individuals from BAME backgrounds to access healthcare and support them to navigate UK systems, including advocating on their behalf with healthcare providers and others.

5. Play an active role in relevant health related partnerships and attend meetings of the same.

6. Provide support and advice to both statutory and VCFS healthcare providers around issues that affect BAME communities.

7. Organise events around key health issues affecting BAME communities to raise awareness and reduce inequalities.

1. Seek and maintain links with individuals who can provide translation support.

Administration

1. Undertake continuing monitoring and evaluation in line with the funding agreement.

2. Collate data around individuals barriers and opinions of the health care system.

3. To complete relevant monitoring reports for the funder.

4. To provide written reports and statistical information on a regular basis.

5. To maintain information confidentially and in line with good ethical principles and GDPR.

Other

1. Contribute to the organisation’s monthly newsletter and social media posts.

2. Promote the organisation and its wider services.

3. To undertake other duties appropriate to the post as instructed by the Director.
