Leicester Life Links is a mental health, wellbeing and recovery support service. We are a community based service and we work to a recovery model. We provide a range of support services for people with mental ill health to access their local community, including outreach support, 1:1 support, peer support and recovery education workshops. We have been operating in the area for a number of years and offer a specialised service to individuals within Leicestershire who are aged 18 and upwards.

We know that recovery can look and feel very different to each and every one of us. But we also know that if we provide the right support, at the right time, we can inspire recovery nationwide and that recovery is possible for everyone. That’s where you come in. Responsible for helping and inspiring the people who use our services to better manage their mental health and promote independence within the community, we’ll rely on you to work with them to come up with a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations. No relevant experience is required as full training will be provided, although candidates with an understanding of mental health issues and/or lived experience would be welcomed. Whatever your background, you’ll need to be happy to work both independently and within a team and willing to be part of a weekly rota system and available for on call duties.

METRO is seeking a committed, motivated and suitably qualified individual to deliver counselling for people dealing with issues related to their sexual health, including people living with HIV (PLWHIV) within the Support and Advice for Sexual Health (SASH) programme.

METRO, in partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, deliver a model of sexual health support throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. Turning Point is the lead partner for the contract, and a matrix staffing model is in place. The post-holder will work within

the partnership and be line-managed by METRO SASH Counselling Manager, and work alongside staff from other agencies. The role will also be clinically supervised via an independent supervisor arranged through METRO.

The post holder will deliver high-quality person-centred service within a busy inner London environment. The clients are from diverse communities affected by sexual health and mental health issues. The role will support staff to work with people from diverse communities such as LGBTQ and Black and Asian Minority Ethnic (BAME) people.

Emotional Health & Wellbeing Service Manager - Leeds TIME Permanent position but with a provisional end date for funding of 31st March 2027

Salary: £38,390.76 Per annum

Time for young people is our new emotional wellbeing support space for young people who live and study in Leeds. Time for young people empowers young people to take time for themselves.

Leeds TIME opening hours supports the needs of the communities in which we work, and therefore there are elements of unsociable hours - this may include evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. These will always be agreed in advance and will be flexible as possible.

The Post holder will lead Leeds Time ensuring to maintaining risk and ability to manage challenging situations. Working in partnership with CCG/ICS's, Children & Young People Mental Health services, Police, Children's Social care and other statutory/ non statutory service providers.

It is planned to offer drop in sessions where young people can drop in and meet trained staff one to one. Young people can come along and talk through what they are struggling with. The service holds no waiting lists and therefore the ability to build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support is vital.

Alongside our drop-in support, we will also offer young people more structured one-to-one sessions if appropriate.

As an Employment Consultant, you will be assisting veterans across the East of England (including parts of North London) back into work. About the Role

You will be working in an accommodation service, based in Haringey, providing intensive and long-term support to 21 adults with complex needs. You will be working alongside a support team to provide accommodation and support services for people experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping and multiple disadvantages.

As the Deputy Manager, you will support the Service Manager to ensure that the service delivers continuously improving project performance, as well as ensuring the effective and safe management of the project on a day-to-day basis. This includes undertaking a case coordination role for individual clients as part of a multi-agency team, line-managing Progression Coaches (Support Workers) and Night Support Workers and managing volunteers at the service. You will help ensure that the service functions effectively financially including by helping to ensure the effective reletting of rooms and collection of rent and service charges.

The usual hours will be 37.5 hours per week. The post may require working some evenings and occasional weekend work.

Key responsibilities include:

· Assist the Service Manager in achieving the service’s agreed contractual obligations.

· To ensure that all aspects of service delivery to clients offer high standards that make them feel welcome, safe, supported and involved.

· To ensure health and safety are managed within policy and procedure and all building and health and safety risk assessments are kept up to date.

This role sits within the Community Education and Training team, working to support our learners to access, complete and progress through our wide range of adult learning provision. The main focus will be on providing additional support for learners who need wrap-around support relating to a range of additional personal and educational needs. This could include welfare, personal and family support and wider mental health and wellbeing support or additional learning needs such as dyslexia, ADHD, literacy support and other needs.

You will work with the team to implement strategies and support plans for individuals to aid learning and enhance educational experience. You will support the team’s administrator to monitor learner’s attendance, contacting them via phone, email or arranging a meeting in person where pastoral support is needed.

You will work with our Adult Safeguarding Lead to support safeguarding cases across our departments, including keeping safeguarding records, making referrals and building a database of local support services available to learners and other service users.

We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting learners to ensure they have the best opportunity to thrive on their learning journey.

You will also support wider functions in the team such as contributing to the organisation of our termly learners’ forum to celebrate achievement and attending events in the community to publicise our work.

West London Crisis Recovery House is a Registered Care Home, working in a recovery model. The services are staffed 24/7 and offer support to our residents aged 18 and upwards.  The services apply a strength-based approach to help individuals maximise their health, wellbeing and independence. As part of your role you will be helping the people we work with to develop a personal support plan that will see them achieve their goals and aspirations.

The Crisis Recovery House is committed to working within a Trauma Informed Framework which encompasses staff training and support, the support delivered to those using the service as well as our policies and procedures.

The Crisis Recovery House works in partnership with the West London NHS Trust. Working in a crisis service will provide you with an opportunity to work alongside clinical teams in assessing the suitability of referrals to the service as well as working closely with the Crisis Team who visit the service daily, in delivering care to the people using the service.

Two years’ experience is required however a full training package is also provided including the Care Certificate which is a nationally recognised qualification.

On 1st June 2024, Richmond Fellowship, part of Recovery Focus, a national group of charities highly experienced in providing specialist support services to individuals and families living with the effects of mental ill health, drug and alcohol use, gambling and domestic violence merged with Humankind to form a single organisation that provides the joined-up mental health, housing and drug and alcohol support we’ve all known has been needed for decades. In October 2024, Humankind will be renamed to reflect the new organisation.

We are recruiting three Senior Workforce Leads to support hands-on recruitment, onboarding, and training of IPS Employment Specialists across various regions. These roles will include the development and delivery of in-depth IPS specific training and involvement in the delivery of a Level 3 accredited IPS qualification and apprenticeship.

IPS Grow is a national programme designed to support the expansion of Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services in mental health, primary care, and drug and alcohol teams across England. The programme is led by Social Finance in partnership with the Centre for Mental Health. It is funded by NHS England and Improvement (NHSE/I), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID).

The opportunity

The Senior Workforce Leads will play a crucial role in the recruitment, onboarding, training and will lead on the promotion of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) within the IPS workforce across their designated regions. They will support the scale up of IPS by ensuring high-quality recruitment processes within IPS services, comprehensive training programs, and effective onboarding practices. There is a particular focus on embedding a race equity lens across recruitment practices in line with our IPS Grow strategy. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and delivering advanced IPS training across the country and acting as tutors for the Level 3 accredited qualification program.

Responsibilities

The key requirements of the role are:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

• Provide hands-on support on the recruitment process for IPS Employment Specialists in assigned regions.

• Collaborate with IPS services in the region to identify staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.

• Support with interviews, evaluate candidates, and make hiring recommendations.

• Attract and retain a diverse workforce that reflects the communities they service, promoting race equity and inclusivity in all workforce development activities.

• Develop and implement EDI initiatives, ensuring all recruitment and training processes are inclusive and equitable.

• Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver high-fidelity IPS services.

 Advanced Training and Development:

· Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for new IPS Employment Specialists, with a focus on advanced IPS principles and practices.

· Provide ongoing support and mentorship to new hires during their first year.

· Identify and address training needs, offering additional resources and workshops as necessary.

· Working closely with the Workforce Manager, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements based on feedback.

· Develop and deliver the Level 3 accredited qualification, acting as a tutor and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for participants.

· Support with the development of an apprenticeship framework.

· Signpost and encourage enrolments of existing and new IPS e-learning as well as the accredited qualification.

 Specialist IPS Knowledge:

· Apply specialist knowledge of IPS to enhance the quality and depth of training programs.

· Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in IPS and incorporate these into training materials and delivery.

· Support with the development, delivery and facilitation of IPS e-learning.

 Relationship Building:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national stakeholders, including IPS services, ICB Leads and Regional NHS Leads.

• Report into Workforce Manager, sharing insights and updates on workforce development initiatives in the region.

 Quality Assurance and Reporting:

• Ensure that recruitment, onboarding, and training processes align with IPS Grow's quality assurance standards.

• Collect and analyse data related to workforce and EDI development activities, providing regular reports to the Workforce Manager.

• Identify challenges and propose solutions to improve recruitment, training and EDI outcomes.

• Support IPS services in developing and implementing race equity action plans.

 Communication and Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Regional Leads, Workforce Manager and other Workforce Leads to share best practices and coordinate efforts across regions.

• Foster a culture of inclusivity within the IPS workforce, supporting IPS workers to feel valued and supported.

 About you

 ·Specialist IPS Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IPS principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to training and development activities.

·Recruitment Expertise: Significant experience in recruitment processes, including interviewing, evaluating candidates, and making hiring decisions within IPS. Experience in promoting and implementing EDI initiatives within a workforce is desired.

·Advanced Training and Development: Extensive experience in developing and delivering training programs, particularly in IPS, with a focus on adult learning principles and effective onboarding practices. Proven ability to design and implement training modules including face-to-face and e-learning formats. Experience of mentoring and supporting new hires. Ability to assess training needs and tailor programs to meet these needs.

·Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Ability to develop, influence and motivate others.

·Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, create project plans, and meet deadlines.

·Problem-Solving Abilities: Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly understand challenges and develop effective solutions.

·Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing project needs and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

·Tutoring and Qualification Delivery: Participation and deliver of formal training programmes. Experience in developing and delivering accredited qualification programs is desired, with the ability to act as a tutor and ensure high-quality learning experiences.

·Commitment to travel: The role will involve significant travel to build relationships and provide hands-on support and training as well as meeting with IPS Grow team members from across England.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team and use your fundraising experience to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable children and families. As Fundraising Manager, your role will focus on developing relationships and generating income from charitable trusts, statutory sources, individuals, schools and parishes. 

This is a diverse and rewarding role where you can work closely with our project teams and see the direct impact of your efforts. The fundraising team is also actively involved in service delivery and this role will be instrumental in helping to distribute gifts and food to hundreds of disadvantaged families at Christmas, as well as helping families in crisis via our Crisis Funds. 

You will also help to shape the department’s overall fundraising strategy and play an important role in ensuring that many more disadvantaged children and families can access the support they need and have hope of a better future.

We are looking for someone with fundraising experience who is keen to use their skills to help CCS grow our income. A proactive and flexible approach is also a must! The successful candidate will:

• Have at least two years’ experience or working as a charity fundraiser and a proven track record of securing significant levels of income.
