• Manage referrals and serve as the initial point of contact for those accessing the service.

• Process and upload referral information onto relevant databases.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are maintained.
• Contribute to creating a supportive and efficient work environment.
• Complete initial triage for those referred to the service.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including referral sources and partner organisations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of service improvements.
• Manage incoming phone calls and emails, directing queries as appropriate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Lead Psychologist to lead, shape, and enhance psychological practices across the organisation. You will work closely with various teams across the organisation to foster the development and support of psychological interventions. 

The Social Interest Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and care to individuals of all ages facing a diverse array of psychological challenges in both mental and physical health realms. This encompasses adults within acute and forensic mental health community based services and residential community based accommodation, as well as people residing in their own homes, in the community and prisons. The spectrum of conditions and illnesses includes people with trauma, anxiety, depression, psychosis, personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, learning disabilities, autism, Korsakoff syndrome, alcohol related brain damage, and challenges related to social isolation, family dynamics, and relationships. 

In this role, you will manage a team of psychologists, a clinical lead, mental health nurses, substance misuse teams, and therapeutic leads, as well as providing overall leadership, expertise, and direction to the organisation to bridge gaps in knowledge, experience, and skills!

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. You will be based in Central Office (Islington) but will regularly be based within any of our services across London, Brighton, Kent, Havering, Bedford, Luton, Nottingham, and Liverpool. Hybrid working is an option outside these service visits.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for a self-starter, who can proactively encourage and take leadership of all aspects of psychology for the organisation! You will hold an accreditation with HCPC and BPS (and/or equivalent) and be able to demonstrate your experience in developing clinical/forensic/counselling practices!

What we are looking for:

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology, Counselling or Forensic Psychology from an accredited institution
• Full registration with BPS and as a Psychologist with the relevant regulatory body (e.g. HCPC)
• Trained in clinical supervision and the supervision of assistant and trainee psychologists and/or other psychological therapy staff
• Previous experience of joint working with statutory, voluntary, and private sector agencies, social care, or criminal justice services
• Evidence of continuing professional development

OVERVIEW OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership to employees throughout the employee life cycle
• Support the development and creation of IIRMS (Intensive Integrated Risk Management Services).
• Incorporate reflective practice and supervision into the service delivery processes.
• Provide expertise in clinical risk assessment and management, crisis intervention, and specialist communication of psychological knowledge internally and externally.
• Develop and deliver small, targeted trauma therapy provisions for individuals who cannot access other community services, ensuring specialised support which is tailored to their needs.
• Lead on clinical excellence, setting policy, preparing for CQC inspections, establishing peer reviews, and pursuing accreditation to uphold standards of quality and safety.
• Drive innovation initiatives, including quality improvement efforts, service promotion, conference presentations, and fostering relationships with multiple external stakeholders.

Other responsibilities than those described above may be required to be undertaken from time to time and will be expected to be performed to as long as it is within the capability and level of the position.

Neighbourhood Watch is a grassroots charitable movement. It is England and Wales's largest crime prevention voluntary movement and has upwards of 2.3 million household members. Schemes are run by volunteers across England and Wales supported by volunteer Associations and Neighbourhood Watch Network, the national umbrella organisation for the movement.

We Are Survivors are looking for therapists to come and join our ever-growing Community Services team.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver safeguarding training, mainly via Zoom, to a range of abilities, facilitating a safe shared learning environment in both an online setting and in person.

• Ensure all training course and materials are inclusive and accessible to all

The post holder will be fully involved in all aspects of the day-to-day management of their designated service, including line managing the relevant front-line staff. You will lead and develop competence of direct reports as well as carry caseloads of customers requiring support. You will work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure that the service delivers on all targets, both financial and those around the quality of the service.

Heaney Hub implements and promotes the Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) model. This is an approach to supporting people out of homelessness, particularly those who have experienced complex trauma or are diagnosed with a personality disorder. It also considers the psychological needs of staff: developing skills and knowledge, increasing motivation, job satisfaction and resilience.

What you'll do:

- Lead and motivate your team to ensure the championing of and maintenance of a positive local culture within your service
- Deliver effective supervision, case work management and team meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting and communication
- Responsible for the personal development of staff, identifying high performers and feeding into the organisation's succession plans
- Ensure that Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) required as part of the Contract are met and recorded correctly
- Develop key business relationships with all appropriate relevant customers/external parties to ensure service delivery excellence and maximise new business opportunities in own patch
- Participate in and monitor the initial and continuous assessment of needs and ensure that support planning is carried out in line with assessed needs of the customer
- Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Contract/Heads of Operations
- Deliver an out of hours on-call service for region, where required
- Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Contract Manager/Head of Operations, as appropriate
- Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times and to uphold all health and safety responsibilities within relevant policies and local protocols
- Adhere to all the policies and procedures of Look Ahead Care, Support & Housing plus those specific to the project including any statutory requirements

The Role

The Individual Giving Manager will play a vital role in fundraising activities to support our mission of providing care and support to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. Tower Hamlets Domestic Abuse Service is a refuge that provides short-term accommodation for 15 women and their children with a range of support needs, who are at risk of or fleeing domestic abuse.

You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating families' move-on pathway from the refuge into independent living. The post holder will be responsible for sourcing accommodation in the private rented sector - liaising with landlords and sourcing new move on routes for families. You will directly support customers to move into their new accommodation and ensure support staff are fully equipped to inform customers about the move on process. The post-holder will also a central contact point for local authority housing departments.

Develop links with private sector landlords and estate agents in order to source private rented stock and promote Look Ahead as a partner organisation
