Sightsavers is going through a digital transformation in data analytics to leverage operational insights into the reporting and decision making of the organisation. Through the capture of good quality data and the delivery of data analytics and reports to key people, we are engaging the organisation with the latest programme data from our thematic areas in eye health, social inclusion, education and neglected tropical diseases. Developing and integrating data capture systems, processes and tools into routine practices is the next step in promoting a data driven culture within the whole organisation as we build their data capture and data quality skills.

We are looking for a Data Quality and Capture Manager to work within the Data Analytics and Reporting Team (DART), and lead on the management of our new project output data capture system being built in DHIS2. They will oversee the transition from our current system to our in-development DHIS2 based system that will be rolled out over 2025, leading on the user training and support of the new system. They will be responsible for enabling teams across the organisation to capture and evaluate the quality of their data. This will involve rolling out the Indicator Reference Guide (IRG), our new standard list of indicators for project monitoring, across the organisational processes. The role will also be responsible for increasing the data quality awareness of the organisation.

The Data Quality and Capture Manager, working with stakeholders across the organisation, is responsible for project cycle management and thematic quality improvement processes, tools, and implementation.  Quality improvement is at the core of Sightsavers strategic objectives, and this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the quality of project implementation at the country office and partner level.  This role is responsible for analysis of quality assurance data and the continued development of Sightsavers quality assurance systems.
The role will take a lead on the strategic direction of data capture and quality for DART and Sightsavers over this transition period, setting out a roadmap for Sightsavers data capture and quality.

Key duties will include:

• Leading the data capture process for output data and quality standards in the new DHIS2 platform
• Supporting the development of the new programme management output data system in DHIS2
• Leading on data, thematic and project cycle management quality assurance
• Support the development of tools and processes to improve project monitoring
• Lead on the data collection in DHIS2 of the Learning, Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP) to support Sightsavers’ Thematic Strategies

To succeed in this role you will need:

• Proven successful track record of working with organisational data management systems (ideally in health or international development). 
• Experience managing an output data capture system such as DHIS2 or similar
• Strong understanding of the international development/not-for-profit sector, with demonstrable experience in project Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E). Experience producing analytical reports or communication materials for a wide range of audiences.
• Understanding of the complexities of working across multiple countries and continents in an international development organisation.
• Advanced MS office computer skills - Word, Excel (to include advanced formulae, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Outlook.

We are also looking for the following experience/ skills:

• Use of data capture software such as DHIS2 or similar
• Use of specialist statistical and analysis software e.g. Power BI/Tableau or similar
• Strong numeracy, analytical and organisational skills.

HOPELINE247 Advisor (Night Service) – Birmingham

We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisors to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

What you will do:
• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms.
• Work on a 7-day shift system
• Use professional judgement to assess the needs of the service users who present with risk to life and manage and report any matters related to safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate records and input data monitoring into the data base system.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practise.
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to new recruits.

To be successful in this role you will have:
• a degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work or a related discipline

Working arrangements: This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 7:45am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week.

Reporting to the Networks Development Manager, the Regional Development Manager will lead, and manage a portfolio of volunteer-led branch committees, guiding their activities to support the charitable objectives and strategic aims of IOSH. Branch activities include regular events offering professional development, and this postholder will work with the Networks and Events Programme to help coordinate these branch events and programmes. The new Regional Development Manager will develop relationships with regional stakeholder, supporting member recruitment and retention.

To be successful, you will have excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with experience of managing volunteers and/or volunteer committees. You will have the ability work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholders, able to build effective working relationships and partnerships throughout. You will have strong organisational skills, with experience of managing projects, and creative problem solving. It is desirable, but no means essential to have knowledge or experience of memberships growth.

We support our circa 2000 members, ranging from medical students to consultants & associated urological specialists by developing guidance for clinical practice, providing education and fostering research.

Urology is one of the most varied branches of surgery. It encompasses diseases of the kidneys, bladder and prostate, including incontinence, impotence, infertility, cancer and reconstruction of the genito-urinary tract. It caters to patients of both sexes and all ages, from children to elderly pensioners.

About The Role

Our team currently consists of 10 dedicated staff members and is led by our CEO. The Communications Manager will be the focal point for internal and external communications, ensuring that BAUS is professionally and consistently represented as a dynamic membership organisation both internally by members and externally when dealing with partners, suppliers, sponsors and allied organisations.

This is a new post and, as such, the Communications Manager should expect to take a hands-on, adaptable approach to developing this exciting role within the wider BAUS team.

We Are Looking For

- Experience in managing the communications function in a small or medium sized organisation or in a senior communications role in a larger organisation
- Experience in developing and delivering communications plans to drive both internal and external engagement
- Experience in managing communication campaigns, ideally in healthcare, charity or membership organisations
- Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in our mission and a desire to contribute to its success

Role Overview

You will be integral to achieving our strategic priorities of generating income through repeat support, and providing exceptional supporter journeys for our community, ensuring they feel valued and engaged.

Providing excellent customer care, engaging and involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. To be integral to achieving strategic Income Generation priorities, including raising funds from supporters through exceptional standards of supporter stewardship, and to deliver administrative support for the Income Generation Team.

About You

You will have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.

You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum. As our Planning Campaigner, you will bring your planning qualifications and experience to support CPRE Sussex’s work across the full range of land use planning issues, working with our dedicated part-time staff and passionate group of volunteers and trustees to:

About the NEL VCSE Collaborative

The North East London (NEL) Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Collaborative works closely with the ICB to work together strategically by shaping, improving and delivering services and contributes to the system design and organisational development of the ICB, ensuring Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) contribution.

The leadership group of the seven borough representatives meets monthly and is currently working to develop a VCFSE strategy to raise the profile of the sector and support the VCFSE to work in partnership with the health system to address local health inequalities and improve the health outcomes of the communities in NEL. Key functions & Tasks (Role Description)

• To lead with compassion and inspiration to ensure strategic influence of VCFSE at system level to better enable integrated working approaches between system leaders and sector partners
• Work with the NEL VCSE Collaborative members to ensure they are effectively represented and actively involved across the structures that form the ICS 
• Together with the Partnership Development Director, produce a quarterly budget report and  regular updates including  emerging opportunities and risks in a timely fashion

• Ensure the NEL VCSE Collaborative addresses and incorporates relevant legislation, policies and best practice guidance, including equality and diversity
• Develop and regularly update an effective activity plan with NEL VCSE leadership group members which supports the work of Place Level Groups

Person Specification

• Demonstrable understanding and experience of the current and emerging challenges and opportunities within the regional Health and Care system and the local VCFSE
• Experience of working with the VCFSE sector at a strategic and senior management level, including championing and advocating on behalf of the VCFSE sector  
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of VCFSE and healthcare related policies with an understanding of the issues facing the VCFSE at local, regional and national level
