• Demonstrable experience of creating artwork for print and digital formats.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe suite products.
• Experience of preparing layouts, formatting text to templates, adapting artwork based on client feedback and proofing client amends.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and composition, with a solid understanding of typography, colour theory and visual storytelling.

About the Role

As the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure major donations from individuals in the first instance. Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern

This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Peer Support Worker to join our team in the Camden Crisis Teams. We are looking for both full and part time staff, (working hours to be agreed, however, our service runs Monday to Friday, between the hours of 9am-5pm), on a permanent contract. Reporting directly to the Connections Team Leader.

Your role will require you to provide one-to-one support for service users, setting personal goals with the service user for recovery, developing ways with the service user on how to keep well and identifying their own personal sources of support. This will involve work and travel within the Borough of Camden but will be based at in one of the Crisis Team offices either at Daleham Gardens or St Pancras Hospital. The post is a permanent contract with a starting salary between £24,500 - £31,500 pro rata depending on experience.

How will you make a difference?

You will work with the Peer Support Team and draw upon lived experience to assist service users to move forward positively.  Acting as a specialist resource to provide a unique perspective to service users. 

You will hold a small caseload to allow regular sessions to be held with the service user, maintaining confidential records, utilising VoiceAbility and NHS electronic records system.  Planning, implementation of and review of care packages, including parts of the individual care plan.

Main purpose of the role:

As Team Leader you will line manage a team of adult social care Support Workers who support adults with learning disabilities, in a supported Living house.

The Team Leader supports the Registered Care Manager in creating and promoting community and a sense of home, leading the service delivery in line with L’Arche values, traditions and standards, and the requirements of the Care Quality Commission [CQC]. 

As our Team Leader, you will be responsible for the smooth and safe running of one of our supported living houses. This will include managing and creating the monthly rotas, updating and managing digital care plans and risk assessments, supporting and supervising assistants (including inducting new team members).  Also, overseeing reporting such as medication records, health and safety, and quality assurance checks, implementing the planning and undertaking of meaningful activity, taking part in support reviews, ensuring training is relevant and up to date, and working as part of the senior leadership team to maintain a high quality of care.

Essential Criteria

• Experience of leadership in adult social care in a supported living or care home setting;
• A record of accomplishment of effectively leading and managing team performance, such as providing clear objectives, reviewing outcomes, putting in place develpment plans, and taking appropriate action to deal with poor performance;
• Ability to guide, support and teach the essential skills of supporting people with disabilities;
• Supportive of the identity, mission and values of L'Arche and enthusiastic about working within a community organisation rated Outstanding by the CQC;
• Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma (adult care) or equivalent, or proven ability and equivalent experience combined with willingness to study at this level in accordance with community policy;

Job Purpose 

The main purpose of this role is to support the international Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement to improve its meaningful youth participation practice and increase its capacity to be led by girls and young women.

Key Responsibilities 

Mainstream Meaningful Youth Participation

• Work with the Youth Voice Volunteer Team to support capacity building in Member Organisations*, this may include:

• Delivering workshops about meaningful youth participation.

• Creating tailored action plans with Member Organisations.

• Developing resources to support meaningful youth participation projects at national to local level.

• Collaborate with different WAGGGS teams to embed meaningful youth participation into event planning and delivery, for example:

• Ensuring youth participation is happening throughout the planning and delivery process.

• If an event is aimed at young people, supporting the programme to be relevant, exciting, accessible and learner-led for the participants.

• Champion intergenerational leadership** to make sure everyone knows they have a part to play in a Movement led by girls and young women.

• Put the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion into action by not taking a ‘one size fits all’ approach to work.

• Apply intersectionality and be aware of the global, multilingual context of WAGGGS in all areas of work.

• Take the time to understand cultural context and local barriers and the different experiences and perspectives on youth participation young people may have in different contexts, before deciding your approach and be prepared to adapt along the way.

* WAGGGS is a membership-based organisation – we have 153 different national Member Organisations who directly deliver Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting in their country.

** Intergenerational leadership is young people and adults working together, building on each other's knowledge and experiences to bring about positive change 

Support Young People in Governance

• Monitor and evaluate the implementation of existing recommendations produced by youth-led research into young women in governance.

• Assess what is needed to continue to grow WAGGGS’s meaningful youth participation practice in the governance space.

• Collaborate with the WAGGGS Governance Team to put into action recommendations.

Ensure Meaningful Participation of Girls and Young Women 

• Support the participation of girls and young women in WAGGGS activities across the organisation through, for example,

• Helping to implement safeguarding policies and procedures.

• Checking written content to ensure that it is clear and accessible.

• Advising on how to make sure young people feel meaningfully included.

• Identifying practical ways so that every and any girl can take part in WAGGGS opportunities, taking into account our global diversity and range of languages, time zones and contexts.

We are recruiting a Challenge Events Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ challenge event income by leading on allocated PAPYRUS own events, projects and campaigns and managing all third-party challenge events.

What you will do:

· Develop an events plan that will grow income using data from previous years to understand our supporters and build a creative and sustainable income plan for long term growth.

· Build and manage relationships with supporters across all communication channels and provide professional, relevant, timely and empathetic stewardship at all times.

· Raise awareness of PAPYRUS and its work by developing and delivering presentations and talks both online and face to face to supporters and facilitating necessary photo opportunities in line with GDPR for use if future promotional activity

· Manage costs and budgets for events, including forecasting, estimates and future year planning.

· Be proactive seeking out new initiatives and market trends in fundraising across the UK charitable sector.

· Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of PAPYRUS challenge event fundraising assets, collateral, materials, and policies and procedures ensuring all content is on brand and to a high standard.

· Working with colleagues in Business Support Services to use the data collected across all donation platforms to analyse and inform required reports and update existing reporting mechanisms.

To be successful in this role you will have:

· Previous experience of working in a fundraising role for a UK registered charity

· Experience of successfully managing a portfolio of third-party events

· Proven track record of successful relationship management with donors/ fundraisers

· Proven track record of working effectively in a team

· Experience in creating and monitoring budgets

· Experience using Raiser’s edge or a similar CRM database.

· Knowledge of regulatory environment for fundraising from events fundraising including sponsorship, data protection, Gift Aid (incl GASDS) and Fundraising Codes of Practice and regulation

· Good knowledge of data selection, data analysis, insight and application of datasets for maximum success

· Understanding of events fundraising

· Competence in the use of IT tools including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

· Ability to work some unsocial hours and travel to meetings / events as required across the UK
