The Trusts & Foundations Manager role is a hybrid position for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, which is the official charity of Good Hope Hospital, Heartlands Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Solihull Hospital and Community Services.
The Trusts & Foundations Manager will work closely with other members of the hospital charity, providing support to the fundraising team and the Charity overall.
Working as part of a team, the person in this role will have specific responsibility for researching and applying to grant-making trusts and foundations and identifying where the work of the Charity meets the application criteria.
They will write or complete applications and build relationships with existing and potential funders. They will also be responsible for managing members of the team who are currently applying to Trusts and Foundations and supporting them with their applications.
The Manager is also responsible for the Trusts and Foundations database and building on this.
This role would suit an experienced fundraiser looking to move into a management role, or a Fundraising Manager looking for an exciting opportunity at a hospital charity.

Summary

Main Responsibilities
As a Fundraising Events Coordinator you will provide an excellent customer experience to participants taking on fundraising events for Diabetes UK. The Fundraising Events Coordinator will provide professional, timely and engaging support that enhances supporter stewardship and maximises income generation.
You'll be supporting the Fundraising Events Managers, acting as first point of contact for our supporters, providing admin support through telephone, email, and social media channels. You'll build and manage relationships with existing and new supporters. From registration to the end of their supporter journey, you'll help create amazing experiences for our event participants, from the moment they engage with Diabetes UK, building loyalty that lasts beyond event day. This role works with data through maintaining our database and you'll also need to update records on platforms like JustGiving and Enthuse. This requires accuracy and working under the requirements of GDPR.
Assigned 'lead coordinator' on high profile events, you will support the Event Manager with the development and delivery of events from setting up registration forms all the way through to post-event thanking. You'll also work with other teams and suppliers that support the planning and delivery of our activity. You'll help engage with our digital adverts and identify compelling supporter stories.
You may also be responsible for management of your own projects as well as maintaining & optimising administrative systems and processes.
You will work collaboratively across the organisation to deliver events that help us achieve our mission. This is an exciting time to join us as we focus on our commitment to create a world where diabetes can do no harm.

The successful candidate will be a confident, conscientious team player, with excellent customer service skills, who is quick to learn, highly organised and a proactive problem solver. They will have worked in a customer service focused administrative role, preferably in the charity sector. About the role:
We are seeking a Senior Outreach Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of outreach strategies aimed at increasing the participation of UK-based companies in the UN Global Compact. You will work closely with our programme teams to ensure outreach efforts are integrated and aligned with the Network's activities.
The role involves ensuring we have an effective and efficient prospect pipeline that includes targeted outreach and a follow-up strategy. This includes managing third-party engagement opportunities, running outreach marketing campaigns, and aligning with the impact goals of the UN Global Compact Network UK - ensuring our value proposition is understood and creatively communicated within the business community.

The Senior Outreach Manager will report to the Head of Impact & Growth. We offer a flexible hybrid working environment, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.

In your first 6 months:
To help you settle quickly, we will provide a thorough and comprehensive onboarding. Through meetings with key colleagues and online training, we will help you to become familiar with our way of working and our value proposition.
Key Responsibilities - after onboarding, we will expect you to:
- Develop and lead the 2025 growth and marketing plan, including creating marketing emails and social media content to engage prospective members. This would also include driving engagement and partnership with third parties, business associations and chambers of commerce to secure speaking opportunities.
- Lead on a follow-up strategy to increase awareness of the UN Global Compact among prospects, aiming to secure and conduct introductory calls.
- Work with the Outreach Manager to ensure growth plans are executed efficiently. This role will initially include line managing the Outreach Manager for up to a year as part of a maternity cover. However, this is subject to change.

- Maintaining the activities list, class and clubs registers and the login/out ledger and visitors log for all members, visitors and volunteers.
- Making sure the relevant Health and Safety requirements and other obligations are being met and correctly observed
- Reporting any maintenance issues quickly and clearly to the Community Manager
- Overseeing and ensuring that all administrative processes are carried out in line with the Centre’s policy
- Opening the Centre in the mornings and possibly closing in the afternoon.
- Reconciling money received on a daily basis reporting this to the General Centre Manager
- You might be required to attend/support events out of working hours including weekends. You will receive time off in lieu for any hours you work over your contractual hours

The role of Sporting Events Manager offers an exciting oportunity to lead on the strategy and delivery of the charity’s flagship walking event, March for Men, which raises c.£450k. A key focus will be with a key focus on co-creating and delivering a robust marketing plan.
As Sporting Events Manager, you will:
- Support the Assistant Head of Events & Community Fundraising to generate income through their Sporting Events programme of walking, running and cycling activities. The income for the events team is c.£3.3m, with expenditure of c.£1.1m.
- Lead on strategy and delivery of PCUK’s flagship walking event, March for Men, which raises c.£450k. You will project manage the event, co-creating and managing the recruitment marketing plan, delivering the supporter journey to drive participant value and working with an external delivery partners
- Work closely with the Black Healthy Equity Team to increase representation across PCUK’s activity portfolio, with a focus on March for Men to ensure it’s a diverse and inclusive event

The role of the Community Development (Wales) is both to inspire and facilitate the CILIP Cymru Wales Committee and to work on other important initiatives. We’re looking for an Events and Community Fundraising Officer to join our team
Salary: £30,000
Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid
Hours: Full time and permanent. 35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am – 6pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

The Survivors Trust mission:
The Survivors Trust (TST) is the UK’s largest national membership organisation for specialist voluntary sector rape and sexual abuse support services. We have over 120 Member Agencies based across the UK and Ireland. We campaign to raise awareness of sexual violence and to improve the support available for its survivors.

Job description
Main responsibilities will be in the following areas:
- Ensuring effective communication across the TST team, with our members and with external agencies

We are recruiting a Team Manager to deliver For Baby’s Sake in a new Regional Team in the North East of England. The post will be home based with some elements of hybrid working. Applicants need to be located in the North East of England and be able to travel across the region.
For Baby’s Sake is an innovative, therapeutic, trauma-informed programme. We work with both co-parents individually, supporting a recovery framework to overcome the devastating effects of domestic abuse in their relationship. We acknowledge and explore unresolved and often complex childhood trauma and change harmful patterns of behaviour to develop a home environment where children can flourish. We adopt an attachment-focussed parenting approach that enhances the opportunity for children to feel safe and secure, with parents who are emotionally available and attuned to all their needs.
There must be a current pregnancy to harness change motivations, a desire on behalf of both parents to coparent their unborn baby (although they do not have to be in a relationship) and we can work with the families up until the baby reaches the age of two. The significance of this two-year timescale is evidenced in all recent child development research.
You will have the opportunity to support the continued evolution of For Baby’s Sake whilst ensuring fidelity to the programme and sustaining the ethos and values of the For Baby’s Sake Trust.
The For Baby’s Sake multi-disciplinary team consists of highly trained, therapeutic practitioners capable of establishing and maintaining meaningful, trusting relationships that consistently guarantee engagement and crucially provide the framework for the deeper, therapeutic exploration that allows co-parents to understand the impact of their own parenting experiences.
