We are currently seeking a highly motivated, confident individual with excellent organisational skills to take on maternity cover for the role of head of marketing, advertising and events.
Reporting to the executive director, you will be responsible for the sale of advertising space on our website, through email blasts to our mailing lists, via our weekly emails and within our quarterly print publication. You will also be responsible for the line management of event support, while managing our event programme which consists of up to 19 digital and in-person events per year. You will also be responsible for line management of the subscriptions manager, overseeing concurrent marketing projects, targeting key subscription areas, and ensuring a high level of renewals amongst our subscribers. Alongside this, there will be opportunities to represent Alliance at external events both in the UK and abroad.
The successful candidate will have strong, persuasive oral and written communication skills, enjoy working in a small team, and have excellent organisation and time-management. The candidate will be a willing participant in all APT discussions and play an active part in driving the organisation forward.

Marketing & sales
- Lead responsibility for the marketing strategy to grow the circulation of Alliance
- Direct line management of subscriptions manager to ensure the implementation of this strategy

Events
- Primary responsibility for organising & promoting both in-person & digital Alliance events

- Securing external bookings for our event services and managing those events
- Management of freelance event support staff and external suppliers

About the role:
The successful applicant will work alongside our Trustees, our CEO and our existing Head of Fundraising and Communications in a jobshare to meet challenging fundraising targets. Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR) exists to relieve the suffering of British wildlife, to encourage respect and tolerance for wildlife and to further its conservation. SWWR strives to do this by:

To maximise the potential funding available for Secret World Wildlife Rescue (SWWR), particularly through obtaining grants from trusts, foundations, local authorities and other sources.
This role will also be responsible for enhancing the reach and value of legacy fundraising at SWWR and building strong relationships with corporate supporters to help secure the financial sustainability of the Charity.
Our Fundraising Manager is responsible for planning and preparing all fundraising and grants working alongside all departments to ensure projects are fulfilled from inception to fruition. The post holder takes care of medium- to long-term activities, budgeting, planning and strategy, as well as being responsive to emerging opportunities and adapting to change. The Fundraising Manager is also the main point of contact for new and existing supporters, providing support and stewardship to the amazing individuals and organisations who want to help wildlife.
Alongside the above, the Fundraising Manager will also provide support to the current fundraising personnel and activities at SWWR, coordinating and supporting a range of tasks and functions to aid in the smooth running of the Charity.

SWWR’s annual operational costs are approximately £900,000. The majority of funding is raised through supporter donations, fundraising events, trading activities and legacies.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA to support the CEO. This is a critical role that requires exceptional administrative and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage complex international travel arrangements, provide governance and Board support, and oversee the CEO’s busy diary. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Diary Management:
- Proactively manage the CEO’s diary, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.

Travel Coordination:
- Organise and manage complex international travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas and security provision.

- Handle any travel-related issues that may arise, including last-minute changes or emergencies.
- Monitor travellers safety during travel to medium-high risk locations (on-call), with the support of a security company.

- Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for board meetings and other governancerelated activities.
- Manage communication with board members and assist with organisation of board-related events and functions.
Administrative Support:

Overview of the role:
Working in a small team, you will play an active role in the delivery of their External Affairs programme of work, primarily delivering secretariat duties for the APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) on Deep Geothermal, as well as contributing to wider external affairs outputs.
Your core responsibilities will be to develop and deliver APPG Secretariat duties. You will ensure members and political stakeholders are kept informed, and that administrative requirements are met. You will be responsible for organising APPG meetings in Parliament and driving forward the APPG’s programme of work, liaising with multiple stakeholders across the public sector, industry, and academia. You will also monitor the public affairs landscape and deliver ongoing External Affairs programmes.
There will be opportunities to organise and attend Parliamentary and member events and to support meetings with parliamentarians and officers. Your work will include drafting briefings, minutes, press releases, and wider correspondence for members of the team, working across media relations, digital communications, stakeholder engagement, and crisis communications. You’ll undertake parliamentary monitoring to find and highlight debates and questions of relevance to members. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate experience of working with or managing APPGs, select committees, or advisory boards, and of dealing with multiple external stakeholders.

The Fundraising Lead will play a critical role in supporting our ‘sustainability' strategic priority to ensure Cycle Sisters can access the resources it needs to keep making a difference. This post-holder will lead on growing Cycle Sisters’ unrestricted income, with a focus on community fundraising and corporate partnerships.
