We are looking for an experienced Database professional to join us as our new Database Marketing Officer. You will work collaboratively across the whole fundraising team, implementing strategies for targeted marketing campaigns. Purpose
The Marketing Assistant is a varied role, working primarily in our Supporter Relations team, but also supporting other areas of the Fundraising and Communications team.
The primary focus of this position is to provide an excellent customer experience for CBM supporters so that every interaction is carried out with excellence, integrity and efficiency. This will help to create and be part of a supporter experience that develops and maintains long-term relationships with dedicated individuals and churches across the UK. The Marketing Assistant will ensure supporters feel valued and engaged with CBMs work.
On a day-to-day basis the position holder will be engaging with supporters by phone, email and writing, in responding to a wide range of enquiries, and carrying out administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.
The successful applicant requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as confidence to make outbound phone calls to build relationships, thank supporters, to share updates on our work, and ask for donations to build relationships, grow supporter engagement and maximise long-term income.
The position is part of a dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraising and Communications team, and part of this role is to provide additional administrative support to the wider team, specifically in areas such as 121 supporter communications to fundraisers doing events, churches, and legacy and in memoriam supporters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound enquiries (40%)
Respond to the needs of CBM supporters and the public through the handling of inbound calls and emails in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
This includes:
a. Taking and processing donations over the telephone.
b. Handling requests, feedback and complaints in a respectful and timely manner, and offering solutions when appropriate.
c. Updating supporter records on the Customer Relationship Management system (currently Salesforce) and carrying out mail or email follow-up when required.
d. Responding to emails in the giving inbox, directing queries appropriately and maintaining organised records of communication.
e. Co-ordinating and responding to comments made on CBM’s social media platforms.
2. Outbound 121 communications (30%):
Carry out outbound calls to potential and existing supporters to inspire donations and explain over the telephone how support will transform lives, following set briefs and guidelines, but when applicable engaging supporters in conversation in a non-scripted approach. This includes:
a. Regular outbound calls and emails include thanking and stewardship communications, asking for support by Direct Debit, clarifying Gift Aid statuses, and discussing the possibility of supporting the charity in a Will.
b. Update the outcome of calls on supporter records on the CRM system.
c. Process donations made over the phone, carrying out mail or email follow-up when required, using existing materials and letter templates.
d. Refer follow up actions that are outside of the team’s remit to the relevant team or individual.
e. Contribute to the creation and development of guidelines for in- and out-bound telephone conversations.
3. Additional administrative duties (30%):
Perform a variety of other administrative tasks to support the wider fundraising team:
a. Data inputting, preparation and reports.
b. Updating and proofing fundraising materials.
c. Supporting speaker and church coordination when required.
d. Co-ordinating the stock and the distribution of supporter materials and fundraiser resources.
e. Mailing out church packs, thank you letters, and personalised communications, such as handwritten cards.
f. Liaise with colleagues and attend meetings to ensure up-to-date knowledge of CBM’s work.
g. Help develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, which reflects the ambitions of CBM.

This is an important role for Breast Cancer Now and one which requires relevant experience in developing, delivering and evaluating integrated, multi-channel marketing and communications strategies. The role provides a great opportunity to work with stakeholders across the charity, and with our partners, to support the creation and delivery of marketing and communications. As such, you’ll possess excellent interpersonal skills and be adept at building and managing positive working relationships with people at all levels. You’ll be dedicated to finding innovative and creative marketing techniques and developing compelling narratives to reach target audiences and will have experience of managing and working beside creative teams, to support the creation and delivery of campaigns. You’ll also be experienced in measuring and evaluating campaigns and reporting back learnings and recommendations.
The successful candidate will be a confident and experienced project manager, able to work flexibly and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience of working on charity corporate partnerships would be preferred.

Tearfund is looking for a Marketing Officer - Legacies to support our Legacy and In Memory marketing to increase the awareness amongst our audience about leaving a legacy to Tearfund.
The central purpose of the Legacy Team is to raise awareness of the opportunity to leave a gift in your will to Tearfund, stewarding with care and excellence those who have chosen to do so and to acquire more legacy pledgers for this growing income stream.
You will have an understanding of fundraising and marketing principles, with a natural ability to communicate effectively with supporters and proven experience of administration skills to ensure all legacy-supporter records are accurately maintained and updated.
We are looking for a candidate who:

Digital Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover
Contract: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time, 35 hours per week
Location: London, UK subject to the right to work.
UK Hybrid Working: A minimum of 40% of working time is spent face to face, either in London office, or as a result of external engagement or travel for WaterAid. WaterAid is located at Canary Wharf, London and this will be your location and contract base.

About the Role
As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will find creative ways of building WaterAid’s online presence primarily through paid media channels.
In this role, you will take direct responsibility for developing and implementing key campaign and project strategies as well as identifying opportunities for growth within the digital programme.
You’ll also:
- Accountable for planning and executing integrated campaigns that combine digital and offline marketing channels to deliver cohesive, measurable results aligned with overall marketing objectives.
- Responsible for budget management and reporting on income and expenditure.
- Work with external creative and media partners on projects within agreed budgets.
- Devise and execute a continuous programme of content optimisation and testing through a rigorous test to learn methodology, regularly monitoring, evaluating and analysing campaigns.
Requirements
You have a track record in and passion for digital marketing, with experience in paid digital media planning, buying and budget management.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Experience working on integrated digital marketing campaigns and strategies.
- Hands-on experience managing creative agencies to develop content and assets for paid digital campaigns.
- Experience in building and managing marketing campaigns on social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn), Google Ad campaign types and programmatic advertising, taking decisions, testing and publishing without supervision.
- The ability to analyse user experience data with CRO testing, conduct A/B tests, optimise conversion funnels, improve user experience working with our Digital Product team to implement changes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and strong communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Lead on the management and development of our ecommerce sites (Shop for life and Store). Working with agencies and wider teams to ensure consistent updates and optimisations, creating and executing data -driven campaigns to maximise conversions and deliver growth.
- Knowledge of a range of measuring tools (including GA4) and the ability to understand and translate data and analytics into insight that can be understood and applied by wider teams.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Familiarity with owned, earned, and shared media.
- Experience creating and pitching business plans.
- Drupal website management and use of CMS.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Response are looking for an enthusiastic & creative individual to join our Communication & Fundraising team as Senior Digital Marketing Manager. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of Response’s social media strategies, overseeing both paid and organic content to raise awareness of the organisation’s work, connect with key stakeholders, and drive digital fundraising. As part of a small, dynamic team of five, including the Associate Director of Fundraising, Communications and Marketing, and two Communications and Digital Marketing Officers, and a PR consultant the postholder will play a central role in enhancing our digital presence, delivering results-focused campaigns, and supporting the broader communications and fundraising goals of Response.

The Direct Marketing Manager (Retention) is responsible for shaping and delivering new and existing supporter journeys for individual, community and legacy donors, and leading a programme of improvement across all major contact points between the organisation and the public.
