Salary: c£32,333 per annum inclusive of Inner London Allowance of £3,333 per annum. If based outside of London, you will not be entitled to the Inner London Allowance.

With a passion for new business and exceptional relationship-building skills, you will be joining our successful Corporate Partnerships Team. This exciting role will be focused on securing new national corporate partnerships with some of the UK's most exciting and high-profile brands.
The successful candidate will be developing and nurturing relationships with organisations that will result in long-term, high-value partnerships that raise both income and brand visibility for Action for Children.
How you'll help to create brighter futures
- Contribute to the Partnership Development Team pipeline by identifying potential partnerships, undertaking research and qualification of opportunities.
- Contribute to the Corporate Partnership Team target by conducting the full sales cycle concerning prospect approaches, from identification and initial approach to ask and close.
- Create top-quality proposals and pitches tailored to the opportunity.
- Develop excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure a collaborative approach and drive positive outcomes for Partnership Development.
- Support the Partnership Development Team's strategic focus by undertaking research projects.
- Manage the Corporate Team Inbox, responding to incoming partnerships requests or filtering to the most relevant team member in a timely manner.
- Support pipeline tracking by ensuring the database (Raisers Edge) is kept updated with prospect conversations and asks.

- Entry level experience working within fundraising, marketing, sales, or a new business environment at a charity or in the commercial sector.
- Experience of researching, identifying, and communicating with prospects.

- Demonstrable interpersonal skills and ability to engage with individuals at all levels of seniority in businesses to influence outcomes.

PURPOSE OF THE POST/RESPONSIBILITIES
Caudwell Children is a national charity which works to change the lives of disabled and autistic children; change society’s understanding and acceptance of disability; and change public perceptions of the important role that charity plays in society.
Based from the award-winning Caudwell International Children’s Centre in Staffordshire, we seek an experienced relationship manager with the ability to identify opportunities and develop relationships to raise funds which support the charity’s expanding service delivery.
Responsible for the ownership and development of corporate supporter relationships, this role will play a pivotal part in helping to grow the charity’s fundraising income and helping to change the lives of autistic and disabled children across the UK and beyond.
The successful candidate will join a growing team of enthusiastic fundraising professionals aimed at improving the donor experience and growing the charity’s corporate fundraising partnerships income.
The role will be part of the Corporate Fundraising strand which will be responsible for income lines including, but not limited to:
- Charity of the Year
- Cause-related Marketing
- Licensing
- Strategic Partnerships
Success will be supported and monitored by the Director of Corporate Fundraising against KPI’s including lead generation, conversion rates and income growth.
Relationship development will be documented and reported using the charity’s dedicated CRM system (currently Raiser’s Edge).
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Demonstrable experience in fundraising/sales/relationship management
- Demonstrable understanding of the charity sector and professional fundraising
- Enthusiastic advocate of relationship management and conversion
- Experience in contributing to a successful sales/fundraising team
- Experience and skill in new business development
- Willingness and ability to undertake basic administrative activities themselves (not expecting of others what you would not do yourself).
- Computer literate, with strong competence in using the mainstream computing packages and products
- Driven, proactive and productive self-starter – able to work efficiently and achieve a lot under their own steam – but not afraid to ask questions when needed

What’s on offer:
Salary: £33-£43,000 per annum dependant on experience
Working Pattern: Hybrid working from their Bloomsbury office (Central London)
St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity exists so that everyone has a safe place to call home, providing emergency financial help that can transform a person’s circumstances within days. The Charity also funds a range of projects across the UK, providing innovative services within healthcare, legal advice and mental health support to facilitate a long-term transition out of homelessness. The Charity is at a pivotal stage in their development, building on the hugely successful BBC Radio 4 Appeal that will enter its 100th Anniversary in 2026, diversifying income streams to create year-round opportunities to donate.
Key duties for this role include:

Support the development and delivery of individual giving fundraising campaigns to optimise sustainable income and long-term value in line with the Charity’s newly agreed fundraising strategy.

Project manage activity designed to deliver warm engagement and supporter acquisition across all relevant channels - for example, social media, paid search, SMS, email, inserts and mail.

Collaborate with colleagues in the Data Management, Fundraising and Communications teams to ensure individual giving activity is appropriately supported.

Lead on data selections for Individual Giving fundraising campaigns to deliver the best long-term ROI and insightful testing; working closely with the Data team and ensuring that data is handled sensitively, confidentially and is GDPR compliant.

Support the Individual Giving team with forecasting and reporting across financial and non-financial KPIs in relation to the Individual Giving programme.

Support the Individual Giving team with the establishment and roll out of a Mid-Value donor fundraising programme.

Work collaboratively to ensure a seamless approach to the acquisition and development of donors, developing supporter journeys that encourage further engagement through other fundraising products and increasing lifetime value.
We’re looking for the following skills & experience:

The Role
The Events Officer plays a key role, working closely with the Member Events and Partnerships Manager, membership team and members.

Members are all at different stages of their journey and have in common their drive to grow and deliver greater impact for their patients, staff, and communities. This role will help deliver events across the membership and support opportunities to help develop the whole sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support delivery of yearly in-person and remote events programme including flagship Annual Conference
- Create, manage and promote the booking processes for member events
- Design, manage and deliver regular member Webinar Wednesday programme
- Facilitate peer learning and support through Regional & Special Interest Groups
- Gather insights and feedback, design surveys to identify member need, data analysis and reporting
- Deputise for Member Events and Partnerships Manager at events, as required
- Manage member questions and queries
About You
You will have experience of events administration and cordination, ideally within a membership organisation, with a proven track record of working as part of a team to deliver joint objectives.
You should be an excellent communicator and sensitive to stakeholder relations, passionate about delivering impactful work, with a proven ability to be highly organised and manage your own workload.
You will need:
- Experience of events administration and of using a CRM system
- Demonstrable experience of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and an ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record for collaborative working and building sustainable relationships at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to assimilate information clearly and prepare appropriate, clear and concise content
- Ideally, knowledge or experience of working for a membership organisation or in the charity sector
