As our new Senior Statutory and Trust Fundraising Manager, you will manage and develop new and existing funder relationships across trusts, statutory, and foundations to ensure we can increase the number of women we support by extending our services across London, implementing innovative services for young women, and providing timely therapeutic support to mothers and their children to ensure they can live a life free from further harm and abuse.

The charity was originally established by a group of survivors and counsellors to meet the gap in specialist mental health services, designed by and for women, to ensure that women affected by DA can live a life free from further harm and abuse.

This is a pivotal time to join the Woman’s Trust Fundraising team, as we are halfway through our five-year strategy to increase the number of women we support each year. Our focus is on vitalising services for young women, launching user-led peer support groups, and supporting children and their mothers via timely therapeutic support whilst securing funding to establish our research and policy work and formalise our training for professionals.

As a creative and tenacious senior fundraiser fully versed in embodying survivors’ stories to secure six-figure, multiple-year grants, with the proven ability to effectively package services to meet funder themes whilst conducting regular prospecting, producing impactful funder reports and maintaining Donorfy, we want to hear from you! We are recruiting a Legacy Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ legacy income by creating and implementing a multi-year legacy strategy, planning and delivering activities in this area and managing residuary, specific and pecuniary cases. 

What you will do: 

• Develop and implement a legacy strategy and operational plan for long term growth.

• Research and develop new legacy activities and create a marketing plan. Project manage the day-to-day planning and delivery of activities central to the legacy marketing program, including: direct mail, email marketing, digital, social media, events, and the promotion of tribute funds and free will services.

• Work across income generation and with other departments to identify and target legacy prospects within the existing supporter base and other potential legacy audiences across all of PAPYRUS’ networks.

• Identify opportunities to cross promote legacy and in memory giving to supporters as well as any activity from across the charity that could provide appropriate cultivation and stewardship opportunities for existing and prospective Legacy and In Memory supporters.

 Main Purpose of the Role

Momentum Children’s Charity’s fundraising team is highly ambitious, driven by our goal to help families of seriously ill children in London, Surrey and Sussex to keep moving forward. Corporate income currently comprises circa 18% of the overall income. But with our expansion in hospital partnership geography, and aspiration to provide support to more families in the future, the expansion of this income stream will be key to this growth.

Working with the Corporate Partnerships Lead, this person will enjoy helping to develop all facets of the corporate fundraising area, working with and forging relationships with businesses to develop opportunities, fundraising and charitable giving, provide outstanding stewardship and relationship management, as well as helping to research and grow a healthy, robust pipeline of new opportunities.

You will be self-motivated, collaborative, with strong organisational skills and an ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. The Events and Fundraising Executive will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of the Lady Garden Foundation’s varied annual calendar of fundraising events which include charity lunches, brand collaborations and our bi-annual Gala Evening, This role is unique, from the breadth of responsibilities, to the ownership it allows for an individual to flourish and grow in their role. 

We are looking for a confident, outgoing individual, comfortable in managing competing priorities and who is able to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders. The successful candidate will be energetic, flexible and reliable in their day to day activities, have a keen eye for detail and excellent writing and organisational skills. Responsibilities and Duties

• Support the management and delivery of fundraising events including multiple major donor events, challenge events, brand collaborations and others as required.

• Liaise with external events and related suppliers to ensure LGF team and co-founder needs are aligned

The Lessons from Auschwitz (LFA) Project is a course for students in post-16 education delivered throughout the UK. The project has taken over 42,000 students and teachers to the former Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. Students then pass on the lessons they have learned to their community. In your first 6 months, you’ll:

Coordinate Projects by:

1. Managing the administration for the educational courses within your remit by:

• Processing applications, registering schools on the project, and monitoring uptake from schools.

• Data management and chasing schools for missing information.

• Organising mass-mailings, email broadcasts and digital marketing including social media to provide course participants with necessary information and updates.

Hours:

This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday. 

From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.

During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, to be worked across Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms for the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided. In the event that THL UK considers before the end of the trial period that the trial is having an adverse operational impact, we reserve the right to bring the trial to end on one month’s notice.

Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.

The role

Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer. 

The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills.  The main responsibilities of the role include:

Supporter Services Executive

Are you an experienced supporter or customer care professional with a background in charity or a commercial environment? Do you want to help manage best practice relating to our supporter engagement? If so, come and join our London team and contribute to the work that we do at Sue Ryder.

Reporting to the Supporter Services Senior Executive you will be a key team member of a busy Supporter Experience, Data and Insight Team, leading on engagement activities across fundraising. Key responsibilities

• To lead on the day-to-day operational management of activities within the Engagement & Contact Team.
• Respond to supporter queries across multiple channels, delivering exceptional supporter care and experience.
• Fulfil supporter journeys and other supporter engagement activities as required.
• Assist the Senior Executive to ensure compliance and best practice relating to Supporter Engagement at Sue Ryder, including complaints resolution and reporting.
