The Philanthropy and Partnerships Officer will support the Charity’s fundraising team, leading the charity’s corporate fundraising, as well as supporting the Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to develop the individual and mid-level donor programme and legacy stewardship.
Working closely with the data, marketing and communications, impact and senior management teams you’ll help to ensure the Charity delivers a proactive and donor-centric supporter journey, using data insight to drive acquisition and first-class donor stewardship to deliver sustainable income. The role also works collaboratively with other members of the fundraising team to maximise income for the charity, working to acquire new partnerships, diversify and upgrade giving behaviour and deepen supporter relationships for long-term value.

We are recruiting a Legacy Fundraiser to grow PAPYRUS’ legacy income by creating and implementing a multi-year legacy strategy, planning and delivering activities in this area and managing residuary, specific and pecuniary cases.
What you will do:

Develop and implement a legacy strategy and operational plan for long term growth.

Main Purpose of the Role
Momentum Children’s Charity’s fundraising team is highly ambitious, driven by our goal to help families of seriously ill children in London, Surrey and Sussex to keep moving forward. Corporate income currently comprises circa 18% of the overall income. But with our expansion in hospital partnership geography, and aspiration to provide support to more families in the future, the expansion of this income stream will be key to this growth.
Working with the Corporate Partnerships Lead, this person will enjoy helping to develop all facets of the corporate fundraising area, working with and forging relationships with businesses to develop opportunities, fundraising and charitable giving, provide outstanding stewardship and relationship management, as well as helping to research and grow a healthy, robust pipeline of new opportunities.

The Events and Fundraising Executive will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of the Lady Garden Foundation’s varied annual calendar of fundraising events which include charity lunches, brand collaborations and our bi-annual Gala Evening, This role is unique, from the breadth of responsibilities, to the ownership it allows for an individual to flourish and grow in their role.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Lessons from Auschwitz (LFA) Project is a course for students in post-16 education delivered throughout the UK. The project has taken over 42,000 students and teachers to the former Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. The project aims to increase knowledge and comprehension of the Holocaust and to signal what can happen if prejudice and racism become acceptable. Students then pass on the lessons they have learned to their community. The Music Leader Level 1 programme has just been launched, signing up over 25 schools as centres set to engage 3,000 young people, with a pipeline of 150 more. The Music Leader Level 2 is set to launch in January 2025.
As the Business Development Executive, your primary focus will be to drive sales growth by building strong partnerships with schools, colleges and other independent training providers nationwide. This is a full time position of 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Friday.
From 1st July 2024 we are piloting a four day working week across the whole of the UK organisation. This pilot is planned to run for 12 months, at which point a decision will be made by our Board of Trustees as to whether this will become permanent. Success of the trial relies on the organisation being able to achieve the same or improved level of impact in four working days as five, with staff experiencing either the same or improved levels of wellbeing.
During the four day week pilot, working hours for this position will be reduced to 30 hours per week, to be worked across Monday to Thursday, with no reduction in salary. This will be a temporary change to the contractual terms for the successful candidate. The appointed person must be prepared to increase their working hours to 37.5 hours per week if a return to a five-day working week is decided. In the event that THL UK considers before the end of the trial period that the trial is having an adverse operational impact, we reserve the right to bring the trial to end on one month’s notice.

Individual Giving Officer

As the Individual Giving Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the Individual Giving Manager, with the objective of significantly growing the supporter base and income. About you
- Proven experience of managing individual giving activity including appeals, recruitment campaigns and retention communications to achieve income targets across mail, phone, email, social media and through face-to-face fundraising
- Experience of producing compelling supporter creative and fundraising messages
- Experience of data selection and segmentation and the effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes
- Good knowledge and experience of using a fundraising database for comprehensive reporting and analysis

This is a fantastic role working with a small team supporting the planning and delivery of a sector-leading training offer, CILIP Learn. CILIP Learn is an exciting new platform under development for CILIP’s learning and CPD offer to members and the sector.
CILIP prides itself on presenting high quality training events, often in partnership with external training providers. Training sessions are specifically designed for those working across the information, knowledge and library professions. Sessions are currently half-day, online training programmes: making them affordable and flexible to fit in around work commitments, and with the attention to detail to gain valuable skills. All our training events are delivered by experienced trainers, with specialist subject knowledge. This role directly supports the delivery of CILIP training, specifically training contracted by employers, and training delivered through partnerships.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Sector Development and working closely with the CILIP Learn Development Manager the Training and Partnerships Officer will support in the delivery of CILIPs training offer.
The ideal candidate will have a broad experience in delivering or overseeing training delivery, online events and webinars, managing successful relationships with stakeholders and have strong IT skills. The main responsibilities of the role include:
- To work with the Director of Sector Development and the CILIP Learn Development Manager to deliver a market-leading training offer for CILIP within CILIP Learn. To deliver and evaluate a portfolio of training events, building effective relationships with training providers.

About You
Are you a brilliant communicator who thrives in a busy media environment where no two days are the same? If you have experience in media relations and would like to work for one of the UK’s best-loved nature charities, then they have an exciting opportunity for you!
Working within a small but brilliant national communications and media team, the Senior Media Officer will work to promote The Trusts and their work, activities and messages to UK audiences through the national media, with a view to influencing key stakeholders, public opinion and action for nature’s recovery. From commentary on Government policy, through landscape recovery and restoration of iconic habitats such as Britain’s lost rainforests, to people organising for nature in their communities – they want their stories to be heard far and wide. You will develop and manage strategic relationships with the media and work to actively protect and enhance the brand and reputation.
They are looking for an innovative and creative individual who has proven research, writing, editing, sub-editing and proof-reading skills. You will have previous experience of generating compelling news stories and features and ideally publicising campaigns, combined with the ability to sell in stories to journalists and editors. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be organised and resourceful and have great attention to detail

Supporter Services Executive
Are you an experienced supporter or customer care professional with a background in charity or a commercial environment? Do you want to help manage best practice relating to our supporter engagement? If so, come and join our London team and contribute to the work that we do at Sue Ryder.
Reporting to the Supporter Services Senior Executive you will be a key team member of a busy Supporter Experience, Data and Insight Team, leading on engagement activities across fundraising. Key responsibilities
- To lead on the day-to-day operational management of activities within the Engagement & Contact Team.
- Respond to supporter queries across multiple channels, delivering exceptional supporter care and experience.
- Fulfil supporter journeys and other supporter engagement activities as required.
- Assist the Senior Executive to ensure compliance and best practice relating to Supporter Engagement at Sue Ryder, including complaints resolution and reporting.
