We have developed a reputation for best practice public dialogue, deliberation and capacity building. We want to grasp the opportunity for deliberative practices to make a real contribution to the change needed to respond to the climate crisis.
This role will primarily sit within our Innovation and Practice (I&P) function but will work closely with our Capacity Building and Standards (CB&S) and Advocacy and Communications (A&C) functions.
The I&P function is responsible for the deliberative, dialogic and participatory projects and processes that we run. The CB&S function aims to build capacity both inside and outside of public institutions to embed the processes, skills, structures and cultures needed for effective public participation in decision-making. The A&C function aims to build political and public understanding of and support for making participation and deliberation an everyday, integral part of our democracy.
The Climate Engagement Lead will play a central role in taking Involve’s work on climate, environment and the just transition forward. It will mean a collaborative approach - co-creating and coordinating our strategy on public engagement through a cross functional work group.
The job will also involve leading several of our major climate change and nature projects, including the UKRI Thriving Places project; maintaining and growing our reputation in climate and environment networks; and communicating the contribution we can make and impact that we are having. Importantly, this role will work closely with others also working on these areas of work.

Every year in the UK thousands of unpaid carers look after someone with dementia but receive little or no support. At Dementia Carers Count, we stand for them. We campaign for change and provide practical, emotional and financial support to dementia carers across the UK.
Our Carers Support Service delivers free advocacy, casework, and counselling, so no carer feels invisible, isolated or alone. Carers describe the service as life changing.
The Advice and Advocacy Specialist will be responsible for assessing and supporting dementia carers when they first contact the service. This role will also deliver casework to secure rights and services. We are looking for someone who understands carers rights and has experience of delivering successful casework. We need someone who is adaptable and open-minded, but also able to focus on quality assurance and carer outcomes.
We are a small and remote multi-disciplinary team, committed to making a difference for carers and supporting each other. The role can be based anywhere in the UK, with attendance at monthly in-person meetings in London.

Job Purpose
Provide administrative, events and communications support to assist in the delivery of legacy and trust fundraising including the management of legacy gifts and the management of relationships with donors’ families, executors and legacy pledgers.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Secure and schedule appointments with legacy pledgers, prospective pledgers, Trustees and Trust Administrators for all members of the Legacies and Trust teams. Draft meeting plans where necessary, book and arrange travel, and prepare and compile briefing packs with meeting locations, directions etc. Use own judgment to resolve any problems because of last-minute changes to appointments and travel arrangements. This will involve dealing with influential people external to the University including prospective and existing donors.
2. Use Raiser’s Edge to maintain accurate records and manage data relating to legacy pledgers and donors and their gifts, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and correct. Make judgements on the best way to reflect meetings and relevant information on the database, ensuring a complete record of the relationship with the University is maintained and that privacy regulations are complied with. Use expertise to suggest improvements to procedures.
3. Assist in the process of identifying and managing segments of the alumni/donor database from which potential legacy pledgers could be drawn. Interrogate databases and spreadsheets to support stewardship, events and fundraising and run legacy activity reports in liaison with Planning & Development Operations staff to monitor progress.
4. Maintain an action timeline to ensure all legacy administration and stewardship activity is completed efficiently and ensure legacy fundraisers maintain efficient contact and follow up, “managing up” where required to ensure actions are completed.
5. Work with gift management staff to ensure legacy gifts are correctly allocated to the appropriate fund.
6. Co-ordinate arrangements for events for the 1451 Society of legacy pledgers, including drafting invitations, liaising with guests and venues, compiling materials such as information packs, presentations, signage and badges. Ensure the correct people receive the correct invitation and that an accurate picture of invitations and attendees is maintained and recorded on Raiser’s Edge database.
7. Support the delivery of selected follow up actions for legacy pledgers or prospective pledgers, for example co-ordinating campus visits involving academic departments and the University’s Senior Management Team, liaising across the University and with donors to compile schedules.
8. Support the communication strategy for legacy fundraising and stewardship by writing and editing communication materials, sourcing quotes and content and liaising with bequest pledgers and executors. With guidance, draft, upload and ensure the maintenance of content for the University’s web pages on legacy giving in liaison with Development & Alumni and Marketing colleagues. (CMS T4, training will be given).
9. Act as liaison with the Regular Giving Team and Digital team to provide legacy information to support mass mailings, telephone fundraising and legacy communications on social media.
10. Act as first point of contact for enquiries related to legacies and, when appropriate, act in the place of the Legacy Gift Manager / Philanthropy Officer - Legacies when they are absent or unavailable by responding to queries in a timely and efficient manner to maintain the smooth running of the operations.
11. Provide the Strategic Philanthropy Manager (Legacies and Trusts), Trusts and Foundations Manager and Philanthropy Officer-Trusts with administrative support as and when required to maximise income from Trusts and Foundations. This may include producing gift acknowledgements, proof reading of applications, formatting of applications, coordinating information and assisting in the submission of applications to Trusts and Foundations as and when appropriate .
12. Keep general administrative procedures up to date, including drafting correspondence, opening mail, photocopying and filing as well as arranging catering and supporting visits with donors.
13. Act as a purchasing officer as required.
14. Participate fully as a member of the Development & Alumni and External Relations teams, ensuring strong links and good working relationships.
15. Be prepared to undertake projects appropriate to the grade of the role but that might fall outside its direct remit of as the line manager, Director and/or Vice Principal External Relations may advise. This will include providing administrative support in other areas of the Development and Alumni team and External Relations directorate from time to time.

To be successful in the role, the postholder must have previous administration and/or finance and/or operational experience with high attention to detail, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and accounting systems is also essential.
You must also be an organised and proactive individual with strong problem identification and solving skills, alongside a creative and innovative mindset.
As the role will involve working alongside the Finance Manager and other key stakeholders, the post holder will also require experience of working confidently and professionally with stakeholders at both senior and lower levels, with excellent communication skills.
Previous financial data management experience, financial qualifications, and good working knowledge of key accountancy software are also desirable, but not essential.

We are seeking an individual to undertake the dual role of promoting the profile of the RAF Benevolent Funds welfare offer, whilst also carrying out welfare casework. Post holders will be expected to undertake holistic assessment of need both remotely (over the telephone and online) and when required in person across their region. You will be expected to work with individuals who may have complex and sometimes challenging welfare needs, assisting them by identifying appropriate support from within both the RAF Benevolent Fund and the wider statutory and military charity sector, ensuring that support is made available to meet their need through the case working process.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a social welfare role supporting individuals and will have strong people and relationship-building skills, as well as empathy with or understanding of issues affecting the Armed Forces community.
This is a community-based position working from home (ideally based in Exeter/Plymouth) but covering the Devon/Cornwall region. The candidate must have their own vehicle for use of traveling around the region. Occasional travel to London will be required. Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Legacy Manager with demonstrated experience, preferably within the charity sector or comparable commercial environment. The role will involve primarily working from home and must be situated in or near London to attend regular in person meetings with key staff.
Key responsibilities
Take responsibility for a portfolio of around 300 legacy pledgers in order to deepen relationships and offer excellent stewardship to ensure that legacy pledgers feel valued by STUK and their pledge is retained.
Act as the first point of contact for legacy enquiries, both internal and external, responding with authority, sensitivity and diplomacy, so that legacy enquirers and intenders choose to leave STUK a gift in their Will.
Plan and deliver a programme of marketing and advertising to promote legacy giving and grow our pipeline of legacy supporters. This will include contributing to campaign strategy development; producing marketing materials including newsletters; and consulting with the Head of Individual Giving re legacy mailings.
Undertake general legacy communications including developing a tangible legacy vision, make phone calls, arrange one to one meetings and write personal notes/letters.
Organise at least 2 – 3 legacy events per year including post-event follow-up.
Organise legacy stewardship activities such as recognition mechanisms.
Liaise with and oversee the administrative work of Legacy Link, our legacy administrators.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all legacy activity on Salesforce and in shared files.

A proven history of generating significant growth in key legacy metrics such as numbers of legacy enquirers and pledgers.
Demonstrated success in developing substantive donor relationships and in supporting senior management and programme staff, to execute donor and engagement strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with both management and donors.

Against Malaria Foundation (AMF) was founded in 2004 and is a charity that fights malaria in a highly effective, accountable and transparent way.
We do this by purchasing and distributing multiple millions of long-lasting insecticide-treated nets (LLINs) at a time in nationwide universal coverage campaigns. This is the most cost effective way of preventing malaria. AMF receives donations from the public and in the current financial year to date have received over US$125m. AMF is particularly data-focused and monitors and reports on net use and drives and supports innovation to improve the effectiveness of malaria programmes.
AMF is the world’s third largest funder of nets.
AMF has been rated a top charity for all of the last 16 years by independent charity evaluators GiveWell and The Life You Can Save who focus on cost-effectiveness and impact.
We are a team of thirteen highly motivated individuals with different skills and experience. Each person has an important role to play. All team members work remotely with constant communication between them. While the team is small, the impact is big - our net distributions protect millions of people. Our largest programme is in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), where we are funding 55 million nets to protect 100 million people for distribution during 2024 to 2026. We have ongoing multi-million net programmes in other countries including Chad, Guinea, Nigeria, Togo, Uganda and Zambia.
Role Description
Our activities and commitments are steadily increasing, and 2025 and 2026 will be particularly busy years of distributions, with over ~100m nets planned for distribution. In light of this, AMF is recruiting a Senior Operations Manager to join the operations team and play an important role in ensuring the success of the net distributions. We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal and intellectual skills who is able to work collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on significant responsibility by leading on several of AMF’s programmes.
The role will include involvement in all stages of a distribution campaign (pre-agreement, net procurement, post-agreement, during distribution, and post distribution) across two main areas:
- Work with National Malaria Control Programmes (NMCPs)
- Work with AMF’s independent monitoring partners

The Senior Operations Manager will lead on several of AMF’s programmes. They will work closely with NMCPs, in country partners, AMF independent monitors, the AMF Operations and Technology teams to ensure the success of AMF distributions.
More specifically, they will manage the distributions through the following stages:
1 - Pre agreement
- Establishing the funding gap
- Establishing the net need, malaria burden, insecticide resistance data
- Working with the Ministry of Health to negotiate and put in place an agreement for the programme
2 - Net procurement
- Working with AMF’s procurement lead to order nets in time for the distribution
3 - Post-agreement
- After signature of the agreement, working with countries to put in place the plans for key elements, in particular: electronic data collection, 5% re-visits, net tracking
- Tender for and select an independent partner for distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner that will be AMF’s eyes and ears in country
4 - During the distribution
- Track information coming from monitoring partners
- Analyse with the Head of Analytics registration and distribution data and take actions if needed
- Account for all AMF nets
5 - Post distribution
- Tender for and select an independent partner for post distribution monitoring, and work closely with this partner to carry out surveys at 9, 18 and 27 months post-distribution
- Share results with in-country partners and encourage appropriate actions to be taken
Through these stages, it will be important to maintain strong relationships with the key partners, notably the National Malaria Control Programmes, distribution partners and cofounding partners to ensure that distributions are carried out according to the agreements signed between the Ministry of Health and AMF.
These relationships will ensure that solutions can be found constructively to issues that arise during implementation of AMF’s programmes. Aside from the areas above, there will be other work related to AMF Group Operations, dependent on the candidate’s skill set.

Funded by the Department for Education, the National Peer Support Service is a game-changing service that creates a sustainable and life-changing legacy. It builds on Kinship’s 10 years of experience in developing peer support groups and two years of delivering a national service that has set up 145 new groups.
This role is community-based and focuses on engaging kinship carers, bringing them together to form Peer Support Groups, and supporting them to achieve independence at which point they will receive ongoing support from our national Hub.
You will do this by working with local authorities, schools, other charities and community groups. Arranging information events such as coffee mornings to engage kinship carers. You’ll create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive community for kinship carers, building belonging, resilience, and empowerment.
Who we are looking for:
We are seeking an person who possesses the drive, passion, and skills to:
- Develop new Peer Support Groups across a diverse range of communities
- Demonstrate the energy and enthusiasm required to achieve key targets and objectives
