Grove Court is a 24-hour, 12-bed registered Residential Care Home supporting male and female residents with severe mental illness.

How you will make a difference as a Registered Manager:

• Personalised Service Delivery: Ensure safe, personalised services through assessment, person-centred planning, and regular outcome-focused reviews.
• Support Planning: Develop aspirational support plans for residents.
• Safety Systems: Implement safe systems of work, including personal safety and lone working, complying with Rethink Mental Illness’ safety policies.
• Information Quality: Improve the quality of information recorded on Rethink Information System (RIS) and support staff in its use.
• Incident Management: Manage incidents and accidents effectively, adhering to policies and regulatory notifications.
• Complaints Management: Enhance service user experience by developing an effective complaints management culture.
• Safeguarding Lead: Lead safeguarding practices, ensuring effective reporting and professional relationships with the safeguarding team.
• Staff Management: Provide effective line management, handling conduct, performance, and attendance issues.
• Talent Recruitment: Recruit top talent, managing the recruitment process in line with policies and Equality legislation.

Essential Skills and Experience Required:

• Qualifications: Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting.
• Knowledge: Understanding of legal responsibilities and standards for CQC registered services, including person-centred service delivery.
• Supervision and Leadership: Experience in providing effective supervision, leadership, and management of staff.
• Direct Experience: Experience working directly with people with severe mental illness.
• Agency Work: Experience working within statutory agencies.

About the Role:

As Area Manager you will oversee delivery of high-quality services.
Facilitate consultation across the teams and other key stakeholders to develop new and build on existing good practice, implement and support the strategic direction of the area business plan.

As Area Manager, you will develop and maintain effective relationships and formal partnerships across organisations and with key stakeholders, and promote and develop the services of VS. You will also represent the charity in an appropriate and professional manner to commissioners, stakeholders, external bodies and the media, whilst acting as a voice for victims to the wider community.
Key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the successful delivery of a high quality, efficient and responsive services to victims, the identification of income growth and partnership opportunities and building relationships with relevant commissioning bodies and other stakeholders. A focus on team development, and the monitoring of performance and quality are key within the role.

Please note that travel across a large area is an essential part of this role and you may be asked to work unsociable hours on occasion. You must be able to attend in person meetings with commissioners and partners across North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire & Humberside, as well as attending offices to meet returning staff.

About the role

The principal responsibility will be to support our ambition to become a best practice national body and an employer of choice, responsible for the day-to-day management of the HR function within Emmaus UK, as well as the development of our approach to in-house learning and delivery of our new People & EDI Strategy.

The role will be responsible for all aspects of Human Resources at Emmaus UK, overseeing the whole employee lifecycle, from recruitment and induction processes to offboarding and exit interviews.

Working with every local authority and across every region in the country, and supported by Arts Council funding, we reach over 1.3 million children and families a year via partners in schools, children’s centres, health visitors and libraries. The role is in our Digital team, which reports to the Chief Operating Officer, but since the website encompasses all aspects of our work from service delivery and information provision to PR and fundraising, this role works collaboratively with all teams.

Initially the role will help the team to plan the content workstream, agreeing roles, responsibilities, timescales and success measures. This role would work then as part of a cross-team editorial effort with key stakeholders to create the new webpages, keeping colleagues informed and engaged throughout the project. Once the site goes live, you would help with aftercare and making sure the site gets off to a good start, making any additional edits or new content as needed based on performance and feedback. Towards the end of the contract, post-launch, this role would help to upskill and support selected colleagues in other teams to take more hands-on responsibilities with website content creation and governance as part of a new, decentralised approach.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organisational and workflow management skills. They will also have proven experience of creating and adapting user-centred, engaging and successful content for websites – primarily including text, images and graphics, but also video – ensuring output answers its brief, supports brand and strategic objectives, and is fit for purpose, channel and audience.

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Policy, Government & Evidence Generation. This is a key role for Youth Futures Foundation as a What Works Centre. Reporting to the Head of Public Policy, but working closely with Evaluation and Public Affairs colleagues, this is a unique role, sitting at the intersection of our policy, government relations and evidence generation work. The work of the Public Policy team will focus on the following strategic themes for the organisation:

• Barriers and Discrimination in Employment
• Place based change
• Mental Health and Wellbeing
• Early Intervention and Transition
• Apprenticeships and Vocational Training
• Employment Support Programmes

You will lead and manage our work in two key macro areas:

1. Evidence generation opportunities – Engaging with national and local government on evidence generation partnership opportunities, working with the Evidence and Evaluation team to identify new opportunities and supporting the brokerage of trials to test interventions to support marginalised young people.
2. Regional policy – Managing our policy work with regional and local government across the youth employment agenda

This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

This is an exciting new role joining Hope at Home’s Senior Leadership Team with the scope to make a real difference in people’s lives and shape the direction of the charity. You'll work closely with the Operations Director, CEO and a range of stakeholders to manage the development and day-to-day running of Hope at Home’s housing service. You will be joining the charity in an exciting period as we are embarking on setting Hope at Home’s new three-year strategy in a collaborative process that your role will directly feed into and will be guided by input from our service users.

Hours: 35 per week.

Reporting To: Operations Director but as this is a pilot project, you'll be expected to work closely with CEO and Operations Director.

Location: Home working with regular travel along M1 corridor between Sheffield and Derby, you'll need to live within 1 hours travel of these key locations.

The Role: 

Planning the project set up

Over the first 6 months of the role and in conjunction with the CEO and Operations Director, you will plan and begin execution of the housing pilot.  This will include the development of a fully costed project plan.

Part of the project set up will include working with a wide range of stakeholders:  Local Authorities, Landlords or housing providers, Registered Providers, Funders and relevant regulatory bodies. 

You will be responsible for securing the use of suitable properties, working with contractors to ensure maintenance and establishing all relevant policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice are followed as well as developing standard operating procedures for service delivery.

With excellent communication skills and working knowledge, you will establish relationships with relevant Housing Benefit departments to ensure income is secured on behalf of our residents and work on gaining Supported Exempt Accommodation Status.

Planning for service delivery

Your role will involve the development and oversight of case management support to all residents, including recruiting and line managing support workers.

Taking into account the wishes and needs of the residents, you will develop a high-quality service which meets regulatory standards and compliance with Regulator of Social Housing Standards.

As a pilot, you will work in conjunction with the Operations Director to monitor outcomes and evaluate the service to ensure we are meeting agreed expectations.

The Fundraising Manager is responsible for delivering our fundraising strategy and increasing our income from various income streams.

This is an exciting opportunity to be the driving force behind our community fundraising and to build on our fantastic service to ensure we create a sustainable and effective organisation for years to come.

Reporting to the CEO, the role would suit somebody with excellent communications skills. Experience in fundraising, sales and marketing or a similar field is beneficial but not a necessity. The key skill is explaining the importance of our work to funders and donors in an effective way.

The Fundraising Manager will work with colleagues across the service to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy. There may be line management of communications team staff and volunteers as part of the role. It is essential for the role holder to develop and build relationships with key partners externally and to work closely with the management team and our Development Committee.

The role will focus on achieving our fundraising targets, expanding current income streams, and developing engagement and opportunities to support growth. That will include bid-writing, grant applications, community fundraising, and events.

Location: Central Services Office in Marlow

This is a newly created role which is being introduced to support the centralisation and future growth of the Trust. This hands-on role will be responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring all transactions and month-end processes are carried out, preparation of balance sheet, capital projects and fixed assets reconciliations , line management of finance officers and assistants, as well as oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and VAT returns. You will be involved in cash flow forecasting, treasury/banking processes, budgeting/forecasting process, monthly reporting, variance analysis and more. You will support the CFO and the Business Manager, and work closely with all schools’ leadership teams and Headteachers. 

The successful candidate will have previous financial experience and recognised accounting qualification, ideally in a school environment, and will be flexible and able to demonstrate an ability to adapt to a changing environment. You will be professional in your approach to all aspects of the role, extremely well organised, a team player and competent with accounting and procurement software, MsOffice and Google Suites.
