Summary
We’re looking for a Fundraising Manager to join us in Wales, to help shape and achieve our ambitious vision for fundraising. As a charity, the National Trust relies heavily on the income we generate through our various fundraising activities and channels. You'll have a proven track record in securing funds from a range of sources including major donors and charitable trusts.
This is a permanent role for 30hrs per week. You’ll be based at one of our regional offices in Wales and we support hybrid working. We can discuss this further at interview.

You’ll be part of the Trust’s internal consultancy: a flexible resource of specialist skills and expertise. As one of a multidisciplinary team of experts, including curators, fundraisers, building surveyors and project managers, you’ll be working with others to help make things happen.

What you'll be doing
We’re looking for a dynamic, highly experienced fundraiser to join our Wales Growing Support Consultancy team. As one of our fundraising experts in the region you will help some of our most inspiring properties by developing and delivering ambitious fundraising plans for major projects, growing individual giving and securing funding from charitable trusts.
You’ll be working alongside others responsible for raising funds, a variety of consultants, colleagues who manage Trust places and their teams who work on site. You’ll be sharing your knowledge and expertise, supporting others to develop and deepen their understanding.
You'll help some of the Trust’s best-loved places to reach stretching targets through a range of fundraising initiatives. You'll be responsible for developing relationships with new trusts and foundations, and with high-value supporters, talking to them about all aspects of the Trust’s work. You’ll be embedded in project teams, working with specialists from across the Trust.
You'll expand philanthropic giving to an inspiring cause, and you’ll support and develop new fundraising initiatives.

Who we're looking for
· experienced in developing complex fundraising plans, with multiple income streams, for projects with stretching targets, and can show evidence of hitting these targets
· experience of working with major donors and charitable trusts and foundations and a proven track record in building long-term relationships with supporters
· proficient in fundraising through individual giving and charitable trusts

This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional to take on a maternity cover to lead the fundraising team for the University’s museum of art and archaeology, the Ashmolean Museum. The oldest public museum in Britain and part of the University of Oxford Museums and Collections, it houses an extraordinary collection of art and archaeology ranging from Ancient Egyptian mummies to American contemporary art.
We are looking for someone with experience in fundraising from a range of sources, individuals, trusts and corporates, with connections in the cultural sector. You will be confident in dealing with a wide range of senior people in the museum and in the wider community of Oxford donors. This role is part of the Gardens, Libraries and Museums fundraising team as well as of the wider Development and Alumni and Engagement group, so you will be used to collaborating with a broad community.
The Head of Development – Ashmolean Museum will work closely with the Ashmolean Museum’s Director, senior management team and Curators to identify the opportunities, and devise appropriate strategies that will maximise philanthropic support. About You:
- A proven track record of securing significant gifts from HNWIs and/or family trusts. *Expertise of developing a mid-value programme is also of relevance.
- Experience in building prospect pipelines and managing donor relationships to ensure great stewardship and long term support.
- Exceptional networking and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- A commitment to CARE’s values and an understanding of the organisation’s areas of work (humanitarian relief, feminist principles, anti-racism and EDI).

About You
We are seeking an exceptional major gifts fundraiser to join one of the UK’s most cherished nature charities at an exciting time in our 112-year history. You will be instrumental in expanding our network of high-net-worth individuals. Working closely with our major donor fundraising lead, chief executive, senior leadership team and Wildlife Trust colleagues, you will focus on prospecting and building high-quality, long-lasting relationships, that deliver a step-change for nature’s recovery in the UK.
You will be a confident and engaging major gifts fundraiser, with the ability to express The Wildlife Trusts’ case for support in tackling the nature and climate emergencies, both through our work on nature’s restoration on the ground, and through our influencing, policy and campaigning work. You will be highly experienced in initiating and developing mutually beneficial relationships with individuals to achieve fundraising targets, with a proven track record of securing significant unrestricted funds.

As Major Relationships Lead, you will focus on growing Eikon’s major donor fundraising programme, which plays a key role in funding vital services. You will take the lead in developing meaningful connections with donors, raising significant funds, and ensuring donors feel a personal connection to Eikon’s mission and feel good about giving.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building Relationships: Getting to know new and existing donors, inspiring them to invest in Eikon’s work.

Purpose of the Role
The post holder will be responsible for the management of the charities fundraising and supporting individual fundraising on behalf of the charity. Job Purpose
The Fundraising Manager will work closely with the CEO to execute the fundraising strategy for Child’s i Foundation, with a focus on driving regular giving, community fundraising, and individual giving initiatives.
