The Organisation
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Role
As an Estates Manager, you will deliver an effective estate management function across the expansive and diverse Royal Parks Estate.
Your responsibilities will span the management of property-related matters, including non-residential assets and the negotiation of property contracts, ensuring that we maximise value from our property portfolio.
A central part of your role will be the negotiation and management of leases, occupation licences, rent and licence fee reviews, as well as ensuring compliance and monitoring of existing agreements.
You will also manage utility access across the estate, ensuring that we receive the best value while co-ordinating with Park Managers to minimise disruption during major events or ceremonies.
Additionally, you will:
- Oversee the property management database together with other Estate Managers
- Lead on commercial property matters within the parks with the assistance of the wider team
- Provide financial support through budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to the Estates business plan, licensing policies and risk management
- Oversee the regularisation of Longford River freebord usage
- Assist with projects
About You
To be considered as an Estates Manager, you will need:
- General practice asset and/or estate management experience
- Experience working for an estate of similar size and complexity to the Royal Parks
- Experience using property management databases
- The ability to read drawings/maps (notably plans, sections and elevations)
- Excellent report writing, mathematical and analytical skills
- A degree level education or equivalent through relevant training or experience

In her time in parliament Jo Cox MP established a commission on loneliness with Seema Kennedy MP. After her murder this became known as the Jo Cox Loneliness Commission, and was pivotal in bringing about and influencing the UK government’s first loneliness strategy.

About Mental Health Innovations (MHI)
Founded in November 2017 following the success of The Royal Foundation’s ‘Heads Together’ campaign, it launched its first product, Shout, in 2019. Shout is a free, confidential, 24/7 text message service for anybody to text when they may be struggling with anxiety, loneliness or depression through to self harm or suicidal thoughts.
Job Purpose:
To support the recruitment and admission of new volunteers, promoting volunteering opportunities and completing background checks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ask for and check references for new volunteers
- Coordinate and attend volunteer recruitment events, such as Universities; organise volunteers and staff to support
- Follow up with prospective volunteers to encourage them to apply
- Work with the Communications team to promote volunteering opportunities online
- Coordinate and run regular information sessions for prospective volunteers to explain the volunteering opportunities
- Initiate contact with volunteers and trainees to process DBS/PVG/police vetting checks as required
- Check the status of volunteers who are part of the relevant Update Service
- Proactively monitor and follow up on the progress of checks to keep on top of weekly targets
- Coordinate video calls to verify ID documents, checking documents with utmost attention to detail

The successful candidate will be an asset within Salford Royal Hospital, providing education to staff and patients on pathways into community provision to support discharge from the hospital.
We are looking for someone to work with patients to ensure access to community support, activities and services that enable individuals to be discharged appropriately. You will work as part of the team planning and facilitating the discharge of individuals at Salford Royal Hospital.
You’ll use a strengths or assets-based social prescribing (person-centred) approach to address the needs of individual patients during the discharge planning and admission process.

About the Role
MSI provides services via our Outreach, Public Sector Strengthening and MSladies channels to underserved and marginalised communities. In MSI we call these “Pillar1, Leave no-one behind channels”. These channels are the core of our high impact delivery (high impact clients, adolescents, those living in poverty).
Specifically, the role is accountable for: 1) engaging and representing MSI in sector dialogue relating to Pillar 1 to contribute to sector learning, influence and impact; 2) development of pillar 1 operational best practices that can be cascaded across MSI countries to further improve impact; 3) developing MSI overarching “Leave no-one behind” strategy and leading testing of new models of service delivery
The Director is a member of the Senior Leadership Team of MSI and is a member of the Technical Services Team. This role reports to the VP & Director of the Technical Services Department. There is a high level of interaction with MSI’s Executive Team, Regional Directors Fundraising team. It is a full-time role, based out of London or core countries where MSI has an operating entity, with possibility of remote work for exceptional candidates. - You should possess a comprehensive understanding of SRHR guidelines, policies, and best practices on a global scale. Your knowledge should span across short-acting and long-acting contraception methods, safe abortion practices, and strategies for reaching adolescents and marginalized communities. A strong background in health system strengthening is crucial, including familiarity with different health system frameworks and how they contribute to overall system performance.
- Significant technical experience at an advisory level in SRHR. Have designed and produced best practice guidelines or training materials related to SRHR best practices, and operations, especially in remote service delivery, SRHR in the public sector; or in reaching adolescents. An understanding of global and regional SRHR trends, as well as awareness of the latest research and evidence-based practices, will be invaluable in this role.
- Strategic acumen: We're seeking a strategic thinker who can translate complex data into actionable insights. You should be adept at identifying unmet consumer needs and market gaps, and able to develop compelling strategies that align with our broader business objectives.
