The Role

About the Job
The Systems & Management Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing the finance system to ensure it is up-to-date and fit-for-purpose. This includes identifying improvements in structure, reporting, and overall data analysis. The current systems in use is OpenAccounts v.8 and a legacy CRM system. This is a hybrid role also involving supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in producing the annual budget, long-term financial business plans, monthly management accounts, and quarterly forecasts. The position is based in London with hybrid working options, offering flexibility and a balanced work-life environment.The split is likely to start as 50:50 between systems and supporting the Finance Business Partners, but it is likely to lean more towards systems with time, as the postholder puts in place elements such as automation. The organisation are considering their systems options currently and may look to change or upgrade their system so that the CRM, Finance system and HR system are more in line. The postholder will be heavily involved in this project.
Person Required
The ideal candidate will be a fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant experience in a Systems Accountant role or involvement with a systems implementation or upgrade (ideally OpenAccounts). They should have a strong background in management accounting, system upgrades, and financial reporting. Proficiency in OpenAccounts is very desirable. The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to tailor reports to various audiences. Experience with overseeing system version upgrades, chart of accounts coding changes, and converting spreadsheet-based reporting to system-based reporting is highly desirable.

The Role
As Head of Fundraising and Communications you will be responsible for building the brand of KEMP Hospice across the Wyre Forest and you will be responsible for setting and delivering an ambitious fundraising strategy and achieving income targets in line with objectives. You will also be instrumental in maximising income from individual giving, legacy giving, corporate fundraising, community fundraising, fundraising events and trusts & foundations, and lottery.
You will ensure that there is a good stewardship plan in place for donors as well as work closely with the Communications team to develop an integrated communications strategy to raise the charity's profile and support fundraising efforts. You will also oversee the creation of high-quality content to be used across various platforms, including the website, social media, newsletters, press releases, and annual reports.
About You
You will have had proven experience in a fundraising role as well as experience in managing a team. You will also have be able to demonstrate experience in communications and/or understand a wide range of communication techniques. You will also be experienced in implementing and devising a stratergy across multiple income streams.

The Birkbeck and William Ellis Schools Trust is seeking its first Director - a dynamic and strategic individual dedicated to advancing opportunities and support for students at William Ellis School in Camden, North London.
As Director, you’ll be at the helm of a small but impactful charity, supporting initiatives that foster confidence, wellbeing, and a sense of belonging among students, particularly those from under-resourced backgrounds. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Fundraising: Securing and managing funds through grant writing, donor cultivation, and strategic partnerships.
- Strategic Leadership: Developing and implementing a vision to support educational and personal development programs.
- Community Engagement: Building and strengthening relationships with businesses, educational organisations, and community stakeholders.
- Storytelling & Advocacy: Raising the Trust’s profile by effectively communicating its impact through various media channels.
Working closely with the school’s leadership and Board of Trustees, you’ll also oversee compliance and financial stewardship to ensure transparency and sustainability, aligning all activities with the Trust’s values. While this is a sole leadership position, you’ll be supported by a vibrant school community, including dedicated trustees, parents, and alumni.

As Head of Fundraising & Engagement, you will play a key role in developing a cohesive fundraising, communications, and engagement strategy to secure sustainable income and elevate our profile. This role will see you working closely with the Chief Executive and the Fundraising Committee to lead initiatives with trusts and foundations, the National Lottery, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate partners.
You’ll oversee a dynamic team of four:
- Philanthropy and Partnerships Lead: Managing a portfolio of trusts and assisting with corporate and high-net-worth fundraising.
- Marketing & Communications Lead: Responsible for boosting our profile across various media.
- Supporter Engagement Lead: Driving individual and community group fundraising.
- Community Engagement Lead: Raising awareness of cancer prevention, early detection, and our support services in the community.

This role is responsible for setting and delivering the fundraising strategy and meeting fundraising
targets for Lakeland Arts. Leading a team and working closely with the Chief Executive Officer and
Senior Team, this position suits a fundraising professional with a track record of securing high level
income, strong and inclusive leadership skills and the ability to develop successful relationships.
Areas of responsibility include leading capital projects, corporate and major donor income
generation and providing leadership and direction for the Membership and individual giving
schemes led by the Development Officer. Working with the Development Office and a Development
Assistant you will build, grow and nurture relationships with supporters and external stakeholders to
raise funds to support our programme of exhibitions, participation activities and conservation
projects.

We have a great opportunity for a Data Officer to join Thames Valley Air Ambulance, working within their Fundraising Team and reporting to the Head of Data and Insight.

In the role of Data Officer you will support the Fundraising team by managing and developing the fundraising database (Microsoft Dynamics 365). In addition to data selections, segmentations, reporting and analysis, you will also regularly train others to use the database and will champion it as an asset in order to promote data-driven decision making across the charity.
To be successful in the role of Data Officer you will need:
- Data management skills and experience working with large data sets
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with a CRM
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to train and teach colleagues
