We have a fantastic opportunity for a Rehousing Support Officer to join our team, working closely with our customers across the South West in Devon, Dorset and Bristol.
With offices in Bristol, Exeter and Blandford, we can be flexible on your base location. You'll share your time between the office, home or one of our scheme offices in the region. There will be a requirement for some travel across Devon, Dorset and Bristol.
The starting salary will be £29,000 to £34,000 depending on your experience.

The Role:
Our Rehousing Support Officers work with customers when they have to move out of their homes. This could be due to redevelopment or the disposal of the property as part of our strategic asset management plan.
As a Rehousing Support Officer, you'll own and build the relationship with your customers, working with them from the point of notification through to helping them move to a permanent new home. You'll make sure the move is done in the best way possible and within the appropriate timelines.

This is a new role and a chance to make a big difference to the number of people we can reach in the local area affected by domestic and sexual abuse. Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in researching and writing compelling funding applications and managing relationships with funders, but who also has experience of working with corporate partners of all sizes. There is some flexibility as to which income streams the successful candidate would spend the majority of their time on – depending on their experience. In an ideal world we are looking for someone to cover both equally but please don’t be put off by the job description if you have more experience in one area than the other - for us willingness to learn and transferrable skills count for a lot.

It might be representing the charity at a corporate fundraiser or a networking event. There will also likely be a Capital Appeal, so any experience in running appeals will stand you in good stead. Responsibilities will include:
- Identify and research new Trust, Grant, Foundation, and Corporate funding opportunities for both restricted and unrestricted Yellow Door projects.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential funding opportunities.
- Plan, prepare, and write compelling and persuasive proposals, applications, and presentations for funding and new partnerships.
- Manage relationships with existing and prospective partners across Companies, Trusts, and Foundations.

About the role:
The Advice Service Manager is responsible for all advice team operations and developing the Kinship advice pathway.
You’ll manage a team to deliver a consistent, high quality and effective service. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing systems and monitoring service quality and performance.
Continuously improving the service, embracing digital solutions and creating efficiencies and processes to drive performance, you’ll increase our ability to provide more support to kinship carers across England and Wales.
You’ll ensure that kinship carers are able to access the information and advice they need in an accessible and consistent way within a clear operational framework.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver high quality, targeted and tailored advice to kinship carers in England and Wales.
- Develop a service framework that delivers a consistent service within clear timeframes.
- Set out clear expectations for enquiry response across all channels.
- Manage daily advice line operations, including work on cases, data and continuous improvement.
- Act as deputy designated safeguarding officer (DDSO) providing clear advice on actions needed when safeguarding concerns are raised.
- Develop and manage a high performing team.
Essential criteria includes:
- Substantial working knowledge of advice service delivery frameworks.

Role Profile
You’ll work in a multifunctional, three person project team alongside a Digital Strategy Manager and Digital Creative Expert. The three of you will cover everything needed to execute your projects, coordinating with our technology team and working with external design capacity to deliver outstanding results for your partners, and renew and grow your partnerships.
The teams are designed to be flexible and nimble, chopping and changing who does what to best meet the needs of the project and the capacity of each team member. However, each role has a set of primary areas of expertise which you’ll typically be in charge of on most projects. As the team’s expert in those areas, it’s your responsibility to make sure your team does them to an exceptional standard, whether you’re delivering them yourself or supporting a team member to cover them on a given project.
As a Digital Strategy Expert, your primary areas of expertise are all things strategy, project management and delivery. Benefits and location
Salary: £34,162 if you live inside London, £30,502 (plus £3,000 travel expense allowance) if you live outside London. Under our Employee Ownership Trust model, all team members will also receive an equal share of the profits each year. The amount will depend on how much profit is made.
Contract Term: This is a permanent, full time contract.
Hours: We work a 30-hour 4-day week, from Monday to Thursday. Please note - as this is a full time role, you are not permitted to undertake any additional regular paid work on the Friday.
Location: You can work remotely from anywhere in the UK or use our office in London Fields, East London. You will need to be able to come to London once or twice a month for in-person meetings, otherwise most of our meetings are held via video conferencing and all our workflow is built to be remote-first.

Essex Pedal Power allows eligible residents, including adults and children, to apply for a new FREE quality bicycle. The inclusive programme aims to make cycling accessible for everyone providing access to employment, training and educational opportunities or key local services. The project builds on the successful pilot already running in Jaywick and Clacton and is part of a wider roll out in Essex. It will distribute 725 bikes in Colchester throughout 2023-2025 and if successful, will be rolled out to further areas within Essex.

About the Role
Essex Pedal Power is a flagship programme led by Essex County Council and Active Essex to support more people in deprived areas to cycle by removing the main barriers to cycling. This post is part funded by the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot (LDP) for Essex. You will lead our Essex Pedal Power team in Colchester working collaboratively to maintain an overview of engagement and impact whilst seeking to maximise opportunities for partnership development. We are looking for an individual with experience of positively leading teams to deliver successful outcomes.
You will report directly to the Community Development Manager.
Main Duties
1.Manage the operational delivery and development of the Essex Pedal Power programme with a focus on collaborating with communities and partner organisations in the design and delivery to promote active citizenship and physical activity.
2.Monitor the budget to ensure outcomes are met.
3.Develop and maintain a strong delivery team made up of bike mechanic and project support staff, and a team of volunteers ensuring the team have access to development opportunities and support on a one to one and team basis.
4.Devise, understand and use asset-based community development approaches to community development and work with your team/communities to understand priorities and co-design initiatives. Ensure that delivery mitigates or removes the barriers to participation.
5.To evaluate impact and outcomes of projects to provide organisational learning and feedback for funders and stakeholders.
6.Lead on the implementation of the delivery plan in collaboration with a wide range of partners, to arrange for logistics of bike allocations and storage.
7.Administer an admin system to manage participant applications, eligibility and queries of those in the community eligible to receive a free bike.
8.Co-produce the project with the local communities and locally trusted organisations and ensure continuous engagement and communication to ensure that eligible citizens receive a good quality experience.
9.Work closely with Active Essex communications team to undertake effective communication with applicants, stakeholders, and partners. Ensure all communications and marketing aligns with the Essex Pedal Power branding guidelines.
10.To support the development of informal and formal cycling groups and clubs. Organise ongoing events to bring the recipients of bikes together and build a community cycling culture and togetherness.
11.Working closely and engage with; volunteers, citizens, partners and staff in joint design and collaborative planning. Ensure that the design and delivery of the project and future initiatives are in line with aspirations of the priority communities. Ensure all volunteers are safeguarded and supported through the use of the TAWS volunteer management system.
12.Co-ordinate frequent cycle training sessions and bike maintenance sessions for bike recipients.
13.Develop a pool of qualified freelance learn to ride instructors and Ride Leaders to deliver local training and led rides.
14.Using innovation to encourage the uptake and increase of cycling. Ensure that the outcomes of the project support collaborative outcomes with citizens and other partners.
15.Play a key role in the monitoring and evaluation plan, through collecting, analysing and sharing data (quantitative and qualitative) working with the Active Essex Evaluation Researcher for Essex Pedal Power and with TAWS Data & Insight team.
16.Ensure that all health and safety requirements are understood by staff and complied with on a consistent basis; lead and maintain the development of a risk management culture within the team to ensure that innovation and delivery is balanced with citizen safety.
17.Produce oral and written reports on engagement level, activity delivery and the development of new programmes / projects.
18.Support with recruitment of sessional staff, external instructors and volunteers to resource projects and to develop community capacity and sustainable outcomes.

The role will play a key role in identifying, maintaining, and improving the current membership of Watch schemes and recruiting, supporting and developing the implementation of our Community Safety Charter,

You will have relevant experience in volunteer management but a great attitude and willingness to learn is just as important.

As Community Project Manager you’ll be passionate about supporting communities to be better-connected and have a love of getting the best out of volunteers. You’ll be looking for a development role as the next step in your career and be comfortable working closely with the team and partners. You’ll be a dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, a great attention to detail, solid IT skills and a creative eye for attracting a wider scope of membership. About working in our team
Our small team supports the volunteers in our communities that are the face of our charity, run by a dedicated, creative, and passionate bunch of superstars. Focusing on creating sustainable safer environments for area in which they live and work, engaging with local communities and leading our volunteers to deliver a great experience.
Term - Fixed term till 31st March 2025 with likely extension
Hours - 22.5 hours per week
Location – 3 days a week based remotely or in the community.
Salary - £18,000 (0.6 FTE - pro rated from a salary of £30,000 per year)

Neighbourhood Watch is a grassroots charitable movement. It is England and Wales's largest crime prevention voluntary movement and has upwards of 2.3 million household members. Schemes are run by volunteers across England and Wales supported by volunteer Associations and Neighbourhood Watch Network, the national umbrella organisation for the movement.

St Hilda’s East has a 135-year history of combating deprivation and social exclusion in East London. We welcome people of all ages to our large community centre in Shoreditch where we offer a wide range of activities for local people which provide opportunities to enhance wellbeing, learn new skills and meet people of diverse backgrounds. We are in a unique position in that we have strong, continuing links with our founders, the Guild (alumnae) of Cheltenham Ladies' College together with the school’s parents, and pupils.
As Fundraising Lead (Corporates & Individuals) you will play a vital role in securing support from corporates, local businesses and individuals to help our charity to continue to thrive for a further 135 years!
The role can be worked flexibly over 22.5 hours per week with opportunities to work from home as well as our friendly offices in Shoreditch, London. 25 days holiday and bank holidays (pro rata) plus a pension scheme.
What you will be working on:
- Identifying new funding opportunities through horizon scanning and prospect research
- Engaging with supporters to develop sponsorship opportunities, in-kind donations and encouraging them to carry out their own fundraising activities on our behalf
- Developing the relationship between St Hilda’s East and Cheltenham Ladies' College
- Developing diverse opportunities for individual giving and ensuring outstanding donor stewardship
- Contributing to the development of strategies to generate income from diverse sources
- Developing case for support messaging and writing impact reports

Job Description
Post Title: Team Leader
Location: The post will be based primarily at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Woolwich. However, all Redthread team members must be flexible about supporting other sites when needed. Regular visits to Redthread’s main offices and other projects and activities at various locations across London, the Midlands, and the UK will be required.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. The nature of Redthread’s work means that regular evening and weekend working is required. You will be required to work shifts to ensure that the team cover from 7:30 am to 9 pm each day between them.
Salary: £38,424.75 per annum + benefits
