JOB PURPOSE

UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency's national charity partner, is looking for an ambitious and proactive Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join the Private Partnerships & Philanthropy team.

ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES

• Account management of a portfolio of high value partnerships, providing first-class relationship management and maximising value, including financial, advocacy, pro bono and in-kind support. 
• Work with existing corporate engagement products and support the development of new employee fundraising ideas. 
• Research new trends and innovations and emerging areas of interest for corporate partners.
• Act as team lead for quarterly corporate e-newsletter.
• Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying and responding to fundraising opportunities.
• Support a calendar of cultivation and stewardship events and identify visibility opportunities for UK for UNHCR.
• Collaborate with UK and international Private Partnerships & Philanthropy colleagues where possible to strengthen engagement with partners and prospects across channels. 
• Support Senior New Business Officer with prospecting, research and cultivation in designated sectors.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate data on donors on Salesforce and SharePoint

 
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE 
Essential Experience

• A track record of stewarding and maximising multi-year corporate partnership(s), preferably within the charity sector.
• A track record of devising and delivering bespoke and engaging partnership fundraising plans and campaigns to increase income.
• Experience of communicating complex themes and subjects to a variety of audiences, written and verbal.
• Experience of event management and co-ordination to engage corporates and their employees

Community Connector

Mind in Berkshire is expanding our Community Connectors Team within East Berkshire.  A key role within a multi-agency team,  our Community Connectors will build relationships and support patients to access a wide range of community services and resources including social care, housing, family, debt and employment counselling that support maintaining good health and wellbeing.

About you

We’re looking for a talented and knowledgeable Senior Research Grants Project Officer to join our Research Team.  You’ll have experience working in research/grant funding and management, and project management in a health research environment.  You’ll require excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.  You’ll be a problem solver with the ability to convey complex technical information to a non-specialist audience.  You’ll also need strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage your workload to meet strict deadlines. 

About the role

This is an exciting time to join Myeloma UK as we launch our new five year strategy. 

Our portfolio of grant funded research programmes and projects play an important role in achieving our strategic objectives.  These programmes aim to discover and share new knowledge, support the development of clinical trials and answer questions of unmet need in myeloma. 

The postholder will ensure the development and effective management of the grants portfolio in line with Myeloma UK procedures, ensuring compliance with AMRC guidelines and charity finance requirements.  You’ll ensure grant holders deliver on contractual milestones, manage high level relationships with Principal Investigators and will work closely with the Research Advisory Group and any other specialist groups as required. 

You will also work with other teams across Myeloma UK to help inform and update our supporter audience on the funded research programme and other research issues.

Women V Cancer is a unique partnership between Dream Challenges, Breast Cancer Now and Ovarian Cancer Action. Together, we have raised more than £20 million in fundraising across a portfolio of one day mass participation cycling events and overseas multi-day cycling challenges.

The partnership has big aspirations for growth and is looking for someone to join as a Fundraising and Partnerships Officer with key responsibilities in relationship management across the partners, reporting and analysis, events marketing, and participant stewardship.

The right candidate will be a self-driven and experienced fundraiser, whose knowledge of marketing strategies in fundraising and events, alongside an impactful supporter journey, can enable the development and growth of this long-standing partnership. You will have experience of the charity sector, event delivery, and social media marketing.

Key Areas 

Marketing and stewardship

• Increase participant numbers on events through comprehensive and diverse marketing campaigns.
• Assist in digital advertising of events including creations of social media campaigns and PPC.
• Assisting in maintenance and digital creation on the branded WVC microsite.
• Develop the partnerships first user-generated video content campaigns, and influencer campaigners, alongside the group Digital Marketing Manager.
• Assist with automated journeys from lead generation marketing.
• Assist with social media channels and assist in creating social media marketing.
• Create and send email marketing campaigns.
• Deliver stewardship journeys of registered participants on events.
• Increase the average fundraising raised per participant.
• Increase engagement and communications across relevant social media groups.

Relationship management

• Build strong relationships with all three parties and represent key stakeholder interests both internally and externally.
• Understand each individual partner’s ways of working, their individual tone of voice and organisational visions and ensure these are implemented across the partnership. 
• Coordinate project groups, communications and meetings, working with various teams within all parties to plan and schedule activities.

Reporting and analysis

• Work with the Marketing team and representatives from each of the charities to undertake campaign reporting, as well as post-event analysis including, but not limited to, audience insight and feedback, engagement and attendance rates, and fundraising per participant. 
• Establishing a clear payment schedule for both sides for marketing contributions and donations.
• Track performance including registration numbers and income – reporting back to all parties.
• Undertake analysis work to improve understanding of current audience demographics and their interests, reviewing this regularly to ensure accuracy.
• Undertake regular competitor analysis work to scope trends and gaps in the marketplace – looking at how we benchmark ourselves against our competitors.
• Support on the strategic planning devised by all partners, providing insight learnt from the portfolio and audience analysis to help shape this.

General 

• Keep up to date with sector knowledge to ensure best practice. 
• Identify new trends and scope out new product development. 
• Support all elements of event delivery (including volunteer recruitment, training weekends), attending UK and overseas events when required.
• Help identify and build relationships with relevant celebrities or influencers to contribute to the Women V Cancer marketing strategy
• Work alongside charity partners to develop supporter journeys for a series of UK and Overseas events which will increase conversion, average gift and retention.
• Identifying high value fundraisers and create a specific supporter journey for these individuals.

Personal Specification 

Essential:

• Strong project management skills: a logical and thorough planner with the determination to see tasks through to completion. 
• Experience in charity stewardship and increasing fundraising on live events.
• Experience in marketing events and recruiting participants.

Overall Purpose

• To provide support and care to young people who are newly arrived in the country, providing the foundations for them to rebuild their strength, dignity and grow their hope for their futures.
• To partner with social workers and representatives from other agencies, for the benefit of the young people.

• To be a key worker for a number of young people who are in the care of Baca, providing high quality holistic and therapeutic support for their transition to adulthood.

Personal specification

Baca is looking for a Support Worker who can join the support team and provide support, care and be a role model for young people who are newly arrived refugees and victims of trafficking aged 16 to 18. They will be motivated and passionate about the work that Baca does and the young people in our care.

The successful applicant will have the ability to ensure the support we give to the young people is of the highest quality and goes beyond the statutory standards set. They will be very approachable, reliable and a strong team worker. Someone who is supportive, approachable, responsible, reliable, personable and willing to be flexible. They will be a great people person who can develop key external relationships. They will also be a very organised and proactive individual. The successful applicant will need access to transport as the role requires visiting the young people in their homes and attending different appointments/meetings across the midlands. The successful applicant will subscribe to and work in line with Baca’s vision and values.

The role will require the successful candidate to complete an enhanced DBS check.

The Norfolk and Waveney Autism /ADHD Support Service are delighted to be hiring a Family Support Worker to join our supportive and successful team.  Our service is commissioned by Norfolk and Waveney ICB to provide support and advice, resources and signposting to parents/carers of children or young people awaiting assessment for Autism or ADHD.

Your impact – For families awaiting assessment for Autism / ADHD in the area, to offer individual or virtual (via zoom or teams) telephone support to include giving information, advice and guidance, signposting, referring to other agencies as appropriate, attending relevant family support meetings.  This may also include occasional home visits.

Facilitating support groups for families awaiting assessment for ASD/ADHD in the area. Co-production of parent-led groups and parent forums, co-facilitating courses for parents/carers such as the 3 week Plan Bee course.

Working with the co-ordinator to develop relationships with schools, pre-schools, children’s health services and children’s social services and, in particular, NCHC Neurodevelopmental Teams to provide co-ordinated support to families.

Your skills - To join us as Family Support Worker you will have experience of working or volunteering with families in the community.  A relevant qualification in child and family work is desirable.  You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience in using IT to deliver support, record casework, write reports and input data.

You’ll be an effective communicator who excels at building trusting and empowering relationships with individuals. You will be compassionate and empathic, with a good understanding of child development and in particular of Autism and ADHD and the impact this can have on children and their families.  Experience of delivering evidence-based programmes for parents and/or of facilitating group work.  Committed and willing to promote inclusion and equality of opportunity for all.

Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) is a research and policy organisation working towards an end to labour exploitation. FLEX seeks to achieve this vision through the prevention of labour abuses, protection of the rights of those affected or at risk of exploitation and by promoting best practice responses to labour exploitation through research and evidence-based advocacy. FLEX is a small organisation that packs a big punch in terms of policy change and influencing.

About the role:

In this role you will be a key part of FLEX’s policy team and responsible for leading on the implementation of FLEX’s Communications Strategy, ensuring that FLEX’s communications help progress our strategic aims. You will develop comms outputs and work with internal and external contacts to produce content and conduct strategic comms work. This role involves tracking analytics, maintaining relevant records, and working with the press and other media partners to reach our audiences. 

Key responsibilities:

Communications

• Lead on the implementation of FLEX Comms Strategy, tracking, measuring, and reporting on the effectiveness of the Charity’s communications channels.
• Liaise with team members and external colleagues, as relevant, to conduct strategic communications planning and work.

• Maintain the FLEX website, including its structure and ensuring content is up to date and relevant.
• Devise, draft and circulate external comms outputs (e.g. the FLEX’s newsletter) and explore new ways to communicate our messages to our audiences (e.g. regular mail-shots, google groups, etc.).
• Represent FLEX and act as first point of contact for press enquiries, provide background information to journalists on relevant areas, and signpost to relevant staff as per FLEX’s press protocol.
• Produce visual content using relevant software (e.g. Canva, Piktochart, etc.).
• Develop contact management systems and/or databases (e.g. dissemination lists, media contact lists, etc.).

What the role looks like

The Financial Education Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting and onboarding schools to embed our free financial education resources into primary school classrooms. You will achieve this by proactively researching, networking, and making connections with schools in London and the Southeast region. Once they have registered, you will then train the teachers and school staff on how to incorporate our resources flexibly into their classrooms. The Financial Education Delivery Coordinator will need to work flexibly with each school to best meet their needs, according to our policies and guidelines. Reporting the progress of the various programmes is a key part of the role and the ability to collate data, identify risks, and meet deadlines is crucial.

As a part of the broader Programmes and Innovation department, this role is a creative opportunity to develop new ideas and ways of delivering financial literacy to primary schools. Outward Housing Department provides housing management aimed at sustaining vulnerable people in their tenancies and assisting people to move on from short term services. We work with a number of registered housing providers and in conjunction with our Group partner Newlon Housing Trust to provide housing management to their supported housing homes.

As a Tenancy Management Officer you will be expected to ensure that a comprehensive, sensitive and efficient housing management service is delivered to our tenants. You will have the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external partners, experience of providing a supported housing service to vulnerable tenants and a commitment to sustaining tenancies wherever possible.

You will also be able to effectively manage tenancy breaches including Anti-Social Behaviour, assess the suitability of new referrals, carry out property inspections and manage the voids process, monitor rent accounts and work with Income Management Team to ensure that rent arrears are kept to a minimum.  The successful candidates will also have excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service. 

This role is available as a full time post of 38 hours per week.

About our Wellbeing Centres

We offer a safe, non-judgmental space to take part in group activities, chat with others over a cuppa, play a game, read a book, or just sit quietly over some mindful colouring. Our sessions are facilitated by our recovery workers who can also provide information about other services available locally and on ways to support your well-being.

About the Role

This is a varied role which involves leading the continuous development of the service to ensure that it meets the needs of the community, in line with Mind BLMK values, including promotion of the service and building strong links with other local organisations, groups, agencies and the wider community. The role also holds responsibility for referrals into the service and leading on more complex cases to assess suitability along with managing the staff, volunteer and student team delivering the service and for the health, safety and maintenance of the Luton Wellbeing Centre.

Service Delivery

• Operate a service and ensure outcomes which supports individuals to deescalate crisis and develop strategies for recovery and increased wellbeing, in line with Mind BLMKs Recovery Model and contract requirements.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the delivery of the Luton service plan and in line with local Luton stakeholder initiatives and plans.
• Work closely with the recovery and peer workers to ensure the correct access to service procedure is followed, taking responsibility for more complex referrals and ensuring everybody has a consistent and quality experience and are able to access the correct service for them in an acceptable timescale.
• Ensure regular involvement of service users, volunteer and staff on local service delivery, organisational matters and wider mental health strategies.
• Maintain an effective workforce for the service in line with Mind BLMK’s HR policies, procedures and guidance (recruitment, line management, workload planning, support and development of Recovery and Peer Workers, volunteers and student placements).
• Work with the Operational Services Manager to review, design and implement changes to service delivery and working models, ensuring the service meets the needs of the local community, and identify relevant funding opportunities.
• Hold responsibility for health and safety (risk assessments, reviews, reporting, safeguarding, incidents/accidents, premises), data collection, budget & cash handling (and associated record-keeping), in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures and guidance.
