Experience in delivering Family Group Conferences is desirable but is not essential for this role. We are looking for senior operational leaders with experience in and passion for restorative practices.

The role offers flexible, hybrid working with a requirement to be in our Eastleigh, Hampshire office two days a week (Tuesday is an essential day). A successful candidate would need to actively work in person with commissioners, external partners, and our teams throughout our programme areas on a regular basis, depending on service needs.

Willingness to travel to other areas, depending on service need and growth is also needed.

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Hybrid with two days a week in our Eastleigh, Hampshire Head Office – requirement for Tuesday in the office

The Head of Support Services will work with the Director of Support Services to create a positive, supportive culture of personal growth, underpinned by a holistic and empowering health and wellbeing approach.​​

Supported by the trustees, the CEO, staff and service users, the postholder will be a leader and will provide a constant stimulus for self-improvement in a learning, supportive and diverse environment. A candidate with a proven track record of delivery, they will provide high level and efficient management of Betknowmore UK support and community programmes, including all three primary services, GOALS, New Beginnings and Peer Aid, as well as bespoke projects which include the development of Hubs within key London Boroughs and creating digital activities.​

The postholder will work to ensure impactful service provision and outcomes; recruit, train and supervise a team of staff/mentors/volunteers to deliver support and community activities; and oversee service integration and collaboration with the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN) partners and other key stakeholders.​

A key aspect of the role will be to work closely with people presenting with gambling-harm issues and/or people impacted by someone else's gambling. The Head of Support Services will oversee sustainable recovery interventions which may include structured psycho-social 1:1 ​and group activities, counselling and therapy, peer and mentoring support, with services ​co-produced by clinicians and health professionals, and insight and knowledge from experts ​by experience. ​

The candidate should demonstrate previous experience of management and oversight of similar programmes of work, within mental health, addiction or community NHS or voluntary sectors. ​

Experience of gambling support and treatment and/or harm minimisation programmes is desirable, but not essential.​

Working with other members of the Senior Management Team, they will input into the management of the charity, as well as supporting grant, contract and tender submissions, operational management, governance, performance and contract monitoring and outcome reporting. This will include financial planning and budgeting.​

Development and Delivery ​

• Manage the strategic and operational performance of services to agreed standards and targets with the Director of Support Services and CEO.​
• Provide management oversight to service teams and ensure the activities they are leading on are delivered to set quality and outcomes, that they are safe and operate in positive environments, and adequately supervised, monitored, audited and reviewed.​
• Provide management oversight to the charity’s portfolio of programmes and projects, including those within the National Gambling Support Network (NGSN)​

Tenebrae is one of the world’s leading vocal ensembles, renowned for its core values of passion and precision. Since the choir began in 2001, we have aimed to move and inspire audiences all over the world through dramatic programming and immersive experiences. 

The choir performs around 60 concerts each year across the UK, Europe, the US and further afield, including at some of the world’s most prestigious concert venues and festivals. Alongside its busy concert and recording schedule, the ensemble delivers a rapidly growing Learning & Connection programme, working with hundreds of children, young people and amateur singers across schools and other community settings. In the past 5 years Tenebrae’s programme of activities has grown considerably, but in order to maintain this we now need to grow all areas of our fundraising. For the right candidate, this role offers the opportunity to make a transformational difference to Tenebrae’s artistic scope and financial sustainability as we approach our 25th anniversary in the 2026-27 season.

The Development Manager will be responsible for:

• Working with the CEO to refresh and implement our 3-year fundraising strategy;
• Fundraising from Trusts, Foundations, individuals and corporates to support the charity’s core costs as well as artistic and educational initiatives;

Location 

After an initial period of office-based training, we are happy to consider flexible and remote working in order to facilitate other commitments such as caring responsibilities, although ideally you will be based in our office in Hammersmith for at least 2 days per week.

Hours

We are advertising this as a full-time position at 35 hours per week plus a one-hour lunch break each day. However, for the right candidate we would be happy to discuss the possibility of working part-time (4 days per week) or compressed hours. About the role

Action for Carers Surrey has  a visible and well-integrated HR function, which has a wide remit, including training, recruitment, volunteering, health & safety and building management.  We also coordinate and oversee the zero hours youth team.

• Coordinate mandatory and developmental training activities
• Be familiar with Action for Carers policies and procedures and be confident to provide initial responses to HR and training related queries.

About you

Examinations Coordinator (Clinical)

As Examinations Coordinator (Clinical) you will support the Overseas Examinations Manager by coordinating the operational delivery of all aspects of MRCPCH clinical examination activity, engaging clinicians to deliver examinations to the required standard, on schedule and to budget.

This is a crucial role within the Clinical Assessments Team as you will undertake routine forward planning to work with the Overseas Examination Manager to support hosts for exams and related exam preparation whilst also supporting the recruitment, training and performance review of MRCPCH examiners.

With line management responsibility for two administrators, you will provide input into monitoring and evaluating each clinical exam delivered, to ensure standards are maintained and candidate and examiner feedback is captured, whilst identifying and reporting on key concerns for future improvement, development and delivery.

In addition, you will provide committee administration support, including developing schedules for committees, ensuring they adhere to RCPCH Governance arrangements.

Educated to A-level standard or with relevant experience in a similar role, you will have outstanding communication skills and be adept at managing stakeholder relationships.

With an awareness of the principles of effective project management, risk mitigation, risk management and governance, you will be able to find pragmatic solutions, seek improvements and adapt to changing situations.

You will also have the ability to act to minimise errors and inaccuracies, whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and correctness in dealing with information and data.

Your excellent report writing skills will enable you to present information in a fluent and persuasive manner to people at a range of levels.

A good knowledge of topics relating to assessments and exams along with previous experience in exams and/or assessments would be desirable.

The College offers two qualifications: Membership (MRCPCH) and the Diploma of Child Health (DCH). The Clinical Assessments team supports candidates to register, apply for and sit their clinical exams - whether in the UK and Northern Ireland, or in a growing number of countries internationally.

Working across the People team the People and Talent Coordinator is an essential for the organisation, contributing to the long- term development and performance of the People directorate.  The postholder will have excellent communications skills, a keen eye for detail and an ability to work on their own initiative in a fast-paced environment. What is the role?

We are looking for a People Services Manager based in Winchester, at our Central Office. The role will develop and improve our People services and processes throughout every stage of a colleague's life. 

The role will enable our People team to be more efficient and effective. Including recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining colleague data, it will also involve investigating and addressing discipline and grievance issues. The role will cover tracking every detail about our colleagues while they are at Brendoncare, including processing colleagues' careers and pay changes.

To develop and provide excellent people-related reporting capabilities to meet both the needs of our business and in support of regulatory and legal compliance.

You will be the first point of contact inside and outside the organisation. You will handle all people-related systems. You will also work with second and third-tier support providers for Colleagues and Brendoncare as needed. 

Who are you?

You will have experience in one or more HR functions. These include recruitment, ER, learning and development, and operations. Or, they can be operational Customer Services/experience roles. For example, in a call centre or payroll. You must also have managed a team. Ideally, in one or more of the above functions.

You need to be a competent and confident system user, ideally within HR. You also need a strong background in process design and flow improvement. This includes system integration and data management expertise.

You will be confident in making decisions and prioritising. You can influence and manage stakeholders. You will have strong delegation skills. You will be confident in your ability to empower others to reach their potential.

You must flex your style and approach based on the need and the person or team. You also need strong Office 365 skills, especially in Word and Excel.

It would be great if you are CIPD qualified or working towards a qualification, have experience working across multiple sites, and have experience in the Care Sector.
