This role gives the successful applicant an opportunity to help shape the training and development of magistrates, working alongside our experienced and knowledgeable members and volunteers. In any day, you might be involved in:
- Working with our expert training, learning and development committee to develop learning and development materials for our members
- Managing and developing MA learn, our online member learning portal, and developing it as a member benefit
- Producing learning materials, and developing our programme of learning webinars for our members
- Supporting our branches in the development of their outreach programmes, to educate the public about magistrates and justice
- Working in partnership with the Judicial College and the MA’s representatives on training bodies to improve the quality of training for magistrates.

Summary
The Church of England Foundation for Educational Leadership was set up in 2017 with the mission to 'develop inspirational leaders who are called, connected, committed to deliver the Church of England vision for education'. Since then, it has operated a wide range of leadership development programmes, networks, research, conference and events, and published a range of key leadership resources to equip school leaders at every level to put their vision into practice.
Part of this provision has been as a very successful national provider of NPQ programmes. Beginning in 2017 with the delivery of NPQs for Headteachers, our suite of programmes has now expanded to include programmes for Specialist Teachers, Senior Leaders and also Executive Leaders. More recently, a partnership between the Church of England and the Catholic Education Service is also enabling programmes to be delivered more widely as together our school provision represents around 34% of the sector.
You will be supporting the Learning Specialist's work across a range of digital systems, although primarily the Blackboard LMS. The role will focus on ensuring our NPQ participants and participants on other programmes have the best possible experience when using the LMS by providing technical support and administration. This will also include responsibility for responding to queries from delivery partners and participants about Blackboard. Where necessary, this will also require working across other systems, including the Salesforce CRM, and supporting with live teaching sessions on Zoom, Teams or other platforms.
- This is a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2025
- Whilst this is a remote role, the post-holder will need to travel for the following reasons:
- Education Office Team Days (3 per year)
- Education Office Residential (2 days, including 1 overnight stay in the autumn)
- NPQ Team Days (approx 3 per year)
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and their administration
- Experience of adapting curriculum content (using multimedia, creativity and knowledge of instructional design etc.) for an LMS or live training sessions based off existing material
- Customer service approach and ability to triage varying technical issues; ensuring prompt responses
- A salary of £34,801 per annum, plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 30 days within 5 years) plus eight bank holidays and three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

The Principal Learning Lead will play a leading role in developing and delivering Frontline’s Approach Social Work programme, a fast-track master’s in social work and our internal Consultant Social Worker programme.
The role ensures that evidence-informed learning methods underpin the design and delivery of teaching. You will define and uphold high teaching and learning standards, incorporating the latest research, trends, and technologies. Working closely with the Curriculum, Delivery, and Digital Learning teams, as well as external contributors, you will ensure that programmes are cohesive, accessible, and inclusive, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills needed to work effectively with children and families.
Your role will take the lead in embedding and evolving our Quality Standards for Teaching and Learning and acting as a champion for this work across our programmes. You will work alongside the Head of Curriculum, Principal Curriculum Leads and Principal Practice Tutors to ensure a high quality, effective learning experience for our participants. You are responsible for successfully incorporating best practice in pedagogy, through the provision of training, guidance and quality assurance activities across teams.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and development of an innovative and evidence-informed curriculum which aligns with academic and statutory standards at master’s level.
- Providing guidance and training to curriculum and delivery colleagues on effective pedagogical strategies.
- Promoting active, inclusive, and participant centred learning approaches
- Engaging in institutional and national networks on higher education pedagogy

The Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist plays a critical role in designing and delivering a broad range of learning and development programmes and catalogue of courses which support and enable individuals. We deliver a wide range of training from Masterclasses, EDI, Values and Culture, Psychometric profiling and Leadership and Development programmes and this is where you will spend approximately 80% of your time. Most of this training is delivered face to face at our offices in Abington Cambridge.
Responsible for the delivery and evaluation of facilitated classroom-based and virtual learning training, this role will help to create an environment of continuous learning and provide opportunities for individual and team development. This role will work closely with the Learning and Development Co-ordinator and will liaise with training venues, manage bookings, and oversee internal data to evaluate training requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Training - Course Administration:
· Work with a variety of internal stakeholders to plan and prepare the implementation of any L&D programmes/courses, including advertising courses and dates, monitoring bookings and taking a proactive approach to increase attendance numbers when they are low.
· Complete evaluation mechanisms for learning outcomes including the use of quantitative and qualitative feedback where appropriate.
· Working closely with the L&D coordinator and Head of L&D to collate and analyse data from L&D programmes, courses and initiatives, producing reports for key stakeholders, when requested.
· Measure and assess all L&D programmes and courses for their effectiveness and business relevance and continually seek ways to improve learning solutions.
· As and when required, provide support to the L&D Co-ordinator with the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.
What we are looking for:
· Learning & Development qualification or experience of working within a Learning & Development environment.

Migrant Voice is looking for a part-time Impact and Learning Officer to join our team in London. The post holder will work to help Migrant Voice strengthen its strategic approach to measuring impact and learning. The postholder will lead on designing, developing and implementing Monitoring, evaluation and learning strategies and systems. The postholder will work with the team to demonstrate that our activities are implemented effectively and that lessons learned are used to strengthen our work.

This role is part of the Connexional Team Learning Network, supporting, encouraging, and equipping the Church to live out ‘Our Calling’ through worship, mission, evangelism and discipleship. The Learning Network primarily works with lay and ordained leaders, helping them equip others.
This post contributes to Connexional-wide learning and development initiatives, and is specifically aligned with the Wales Synod Cymru District as the Welsh speaking Learning and Development Officer (LDO) and the new West Midlands District following the merger of the current Birmingham District and the Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury District on 1st September 2025. Wales Synod Cymru is a bilingual District of 16 circuits, including the Welsh language Cymru Circuit which covers the whole of Wales, and the West Midlands District has 20 circuits across Birmingham, Wolverhampton and the Black Country, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. Both districts are diverse in terms of population groupings and serve communities in rural, market towns, suburbs and city centre settings.

The Training Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our training services. We now have the opportunity to provide a service at HMP Stoke Heath. Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust Team Members, this is an exciting role leading on the delivery and development of creative and exciting literacy initiatives and an ambitious Reading Strategy at HMP Stoke Heath, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
Ideally you will have some experience of prison settings underpinned by the ability to build relationships and personal qualities that include resilience, determination and a problem-solving approach.
This role is subject to contract award and will be prison-based.

Our full Maths and English programme builds on the positive habits fostered by our reading log.
