Digital Experience Lead

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the digital marketing team.

Position: CE313 Digital Experience Lead

Location: Homebased, UK Nationwide, however, occasional travel will be required as part of this role (May include team meetings or other work-related meetings)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: Circa £46,800 per annum (inner London weighting £3,950 per annum or outer London weighting £2,100 per annum may be applied in accordance to where you live)

Contract: This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Digital Marketing, the Digital Experience Lead will help to make a mark on the transformation and future proofing of all Stroke Association websites and microsites whilst helping the digital marketing team to maximise income, supporter recruitment and retention too.

Key responsibilities include:

· Ensure a consistent user experience across all sites.

· Work with the in-house website manager, UX manager, SEO, Content, agency as well as design and development teams to embed our brand and digital guidelines

· Set the standard for website journeys through UX, content production, SEO and website management.

· Support our website experience managers to edit and approve submitted website designs and content within an SLA.

· Be responsible for website governance

· Champion Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) ensuring our website content follows best practise and considers our Search Engine results pages (SERPs) position.

· Provide guidance and technical support to help internal users make the most of existing digital platforms and adopt changes to digital solutions and processes.

· Bring together and manage the optimisation of all sites including our main website and third party microsites

· Lead on the organisation’s analytical and tracking tools

· Lead on the development of digital partnerships

· Line management of your allocated team members

· Set standards for design, development and delivery of digital products and services

About You

You will have experience of:

· Advising on the effective strategic development and utilisation of digital products for marketing and communications.

· Development, delivery and management of digital products and strategies which support organisational goals and objectives.

· Actively championing continuous improvement and data-informed

· Decision making, test-and-learn.

Hybrid working

Fundraising Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser or a candidate with transferrable skills who is looking for their next challenge.

This fundraising role is varied and fun and may suit someone who has worked in fundraising for a few years and understands the diverse range of responsibilities that come with the role. You should be able to work well in a small team and be prepared to adapt cheerfully to changes and challenges that may crop up daily.

Your main area of responsibility will be for generating income by writing proposals to Trust and Foundations, working with service managers across the country to research and build compelling cases for support across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who can secure multi-year grants and core funding support through creating high value applications and also have the skills to research and fire off multiple applications to smaller trusts for small projects on a daily basis.

Experience in meeting fundraising targets would be useful but not essential.  An important aspect of the role will be maintaining up to date reporting systems of approaches and successes and fulfilling grant obligations to funders.

As part of a small fundraising team and you will also work with your colleagues to further develop the Walk for Autism fundraising campaign and be instrumental in developing a high quality supporter journey using email, texts and social media.  Developing digital fundraising is one of our main strategies so a willingness to learn new skills in this area is a key part of the role.

You will be required to work outside of office hours occasionally with some travel to services around the UK.  It would be helpful to have a driving licence but it’s not essential.  This position is subject to a Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) that will be met by Autism Initiatives.

About the role:

This role is based at Lancaster Police Station. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As an IDVA working on Operation Provide you will:

The vacancy

Could you be a Caseworker/Project Worker for vulnerable young people aged between 16 to 25 years? Could you give them the support and guidance they need to get back on their feet and live independently?

The young people we work with have become homeless for a number of reasons – isolation or mental ill health, abusive relationships, substance misuse, involvement in gangs/county lines - their issues are complex so you will need to be able to build strong, trusting relationships so that our customers feel safe and supported. 

We have opportunities for Caseworkers/Project Workers at our Ofsted registered scheme in St Albans which provides temporary housing for young people who are experiencing homelessness. 

A bit about the role:

As a Caseworker/Project Worker, you will be working with a team of highly motivated, compassionate, and dedicated colleagues supporting a caseload of young customers with complex needs. You’ll need to meet each customer weekly to help them with their goals and discuss their progress. And, when someone’s ready to move on, we'll rely on you to help them access the housing register or look for suitable rented accommodation.

What we’re looking for:

You may have worked with vulnerable young people in a paid or voluntary capacity, maybe as a Youth Worker or in an education setting providing pastoral care. You’re a great relationship builder, who can create trust so that our young people feel comfortable sharing their issues with you, you listen but in a non-judgemental way and you are able to spot signs for concern and act on them.

You’ll also need to be able to work on your own, sometimes dealing with challenging situations and diffusing them to avoid escalation. Is this you?

Rotas will be issued four weeks in advance and will include working between the hours of 8AM to 11PM, no more than 7.5 hours each day.

Sleep ins will start from 11PM to 8PM.

About the role:

The Criminal Justice IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process, specialising in working with women whose domestic abuse cases are going through the police and criminal justice system and risk to children is a factor.  You will work to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. This role is part advocacy, part training/education and project work to improve response and early intervention to victim/survivors experiencing domestic abuse. You will be embedded in the community safety unit within the police, working with police professionals to ensure they adopt a trauma informed approach, can recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse and are providing more holistic support. You will be the domestic abuse subject matter expert on site, upskilling fellow professionals and acting as a point of contact for any clients experiencing domestic abuse and support requirements from police and court at every stage. The IMPACT project was established over 10 years ago and has been working in partnership in Hammersmith and Fulham aiming to improve integrated working between criminal justice agencies from the point of reporting an incident to court and beyond; to reduce attrition through earlier intervention and improved outcomes for victims/survivors and their children; and to hold more perpetrators to account through the justice system. The IDVAs will inherit strong working relationships and a commitment from all parties to offering more trauma-informed services.  The borough has a focus on prioritising and developing good DA work in and this is an opportunity to be a major player in institutional change, ensuring that women accessing Family Children services for their children have an improved experience and that the local authorities are leading the way for all survivors engaging with their services.  

Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Ealing, and across parts of East London. We work within a coordinated partnership response to domestic violence to provide independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people and women’s community services for women who are involved in the criminal justice system, in anti-social behaviour or are at risk of breaking the law.

About You:

You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge on children safeguarding/legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.

You will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.Provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to women referred to the service, in respect to risk management and safety planning, criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, and children’s legislation.

Your abilities extends to assessing the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs.Advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and proactively advocate to ensure barriers to accessing support and protection are reduced. You will work as an advocate and educator to raise awareness and upskill professionals within Children Social Care plus work with colleagues to successfully develop and deliver training.

Trainee Project Worker roles are based in supported accommodation services, where we aim to prepare clients for independence and positively impact their quality of life. These services provide temporary and longer-term accommodation for people who may have associated difficulties relating to mental health, complex support needs and trauma. In this role, you will be working on a shift rota, which will include working early shifts: 8am - 3:30pm/4pm and /or late shifts: 3:30pm - 10:30pm and could include some weekends and bank holidays.

We may also have Trainee Floating Support Worker roles, working to support a caseload of people who are at greater risk of homelessness with a focus on addressing housing-related issues, improving quality of life and promoting independence. Your support will include help with benefits issues, mental and physical ill health, hoarding and antisocial behaviours within a recovery framework and structured key working assessment. This work will involve regular travel in London, visiting clients in their own homes or other locations. 

As a Trainee, you will be working in a varied and rewarding role amongst a committed and supportive team. The training programme will teach you how to provide this support to clients, enabling them to achieve the objectives they have collaboratively created in their support and action plans. You will also assist clients with routine tasks and their goals relating to training, education, or employment.

As a Trainee, you will receive increments to your salary at six months and at nine months (subject to successful completion of the Trainee Programme).

Your challenge? To do everything you can to help the individuals we work with to source appropriate work experience placements with local organisations/employers. Day to day, you’ll offer support, careers advice and guidance, helping people to set their own recovery and employment focused goals and provide training in personal and skills development such as CV preparation, interview techniques etc. You’ll also be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive links with partner organisations, local employers and Talking Therapy teams and have the initiative to develop and promote the service. About the Role:

As a Hospital Independent Domestic Violence Advisor you will be supporting victims of domestic abuse. This is a key role at the hospitals working alongside the safeguarding team to ensure that victims of domestic abuse have access to appropriate support. As an IDVA you will be:

• Providing a high quality support & advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse
• Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional & practical support

• Delivering training to hospital staff & local partner agencies

• Strong crisis management skills and the ability to deal with stressful and difficult situations.
