This role is central to driving and expanding our fundraising efforts through the strategic cultivation and stewardship of trusts and foundation relationships. This position is instrumental in identifying and securing sustainable funding sources to support World Bicycle Relief’s mission, ensuring that more people are mobilised through the Power of Bicycles.

This role requires a strong partnership with the UK Managing Director, ensuring that fundraising strategies are robustly executed and aligned with organisational goals.

The ideal candidate will be eager to work with a small, but impactful UK team while collaborating with a dynamic international team of change champions, dedicated to transforming lives through The Power of Bicycle.

WBR has distributed over 870,000 fit-for-purpose bicycles and trained over 3,350 community-based mechanics. Our impact is clear: girls with Buffalo Bicycles boost their school attendance by almost a third; health care workers see nearly twice as many patients each day and 80% of households using a Buffalo bicycle report higher incomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborative Strategy Execution: Works closely with the UK Managing Director, incorporating programmatic priorities for developing key funding partnerships, to align and execute the trusts and foundations fundraising strategy.
• Strategic Growth & Income Diversification: Supports the development of and executes a growth strategy to increase trust and foundation income, leveraging both existing and new opportunities, including institutional fundraising and government funding where relevant.
• Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Proactively identifies, researches, and cultivates new trust and foundation prospects to expand the current portfolio and drive significant new revenue growth in alignment with fundraising targets.
• Relationship Management & Stewardship: Establishes, nurtures, and manages strong relationships with trust and foundation donors, ensuring tailored engagement, timely reporting, and strategic alignment with donor priorities to maximize long-term support.
• Proposal & Fund Development: Leads the development and submission of compelling funding proposals to generate revenue, while ensuring collaboration with the global proposal development enablement function for high-value (£100k+) opportunities. Edits concepts, proposals, pitch decks and stewardships materials. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with WBR’s global Development & Marcomm and proposal development team to source insights, data, and programmatic information that strengthen proposals and enhance donor engagement, ensuring UK efforts align with international fundraising strategies.

Recovery Coordinator Location: London, DA8 1RQ Salary: £26,250 - £34,650 per annum ’s vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. They tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support. They have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year their services support around 125,000 people. The Role As a member of the multi disciplinary  team, you will be running a variety of peer support groups as well as working with service users one-on-one in order to build their recovery capital and achieve their recovery goals. They aim to help people to build and sustain long-term recovery from addiction and encourage self-efficacy believing that everyone is an expert in themselves, they often need a helping hand on their journey. The team consists of 7 Recovery Coordinators and 1 Trainee Recovery Coordinators working alongside 2 Criminal Justice RC's. The role will be based at  Erith health centre, which is a drug and alcohol service for people over the age of 18 in Bexley. It is ran by SLAM and focus' on psychosocial  interventions working within prison and probation services. They are seeking a positive and motivated individuals who have the ability to navigate a fast-paced and challenging client group with a variety of complex needs.  Direct substance use knowledge is not essential but preferred, and they encourage applications from those with transferrable skills and experience. You will be expected to: Manage a service user caseload, devising, implementing and reviewing on-going recovery plans and treatment, liaising closely with the full range of workers and skills within the service team, including family members and significant others as appropriate. Carry out triage/screening assessments and comprehensive assessments with service users. Work collaboratively with partner agencies to undertake shared assessments, key working and interventions to promote individual service user progression from engagement, through structured treatment to self-sustained recovery. Facilitate service user access to treatment and community resources to increase recovery and social capital, supporting service users and their families within their local community. Develop and deliver quality programs and packages of work/ psychosocial interventions that meet local need across both group work and one to one formats.  We are looking for an enthusiatic and confident Student Support Officer to work within our student, education and trade union teams at the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Based within our Practice and Development Directorate, this is an exciting new role for someone interested in supporting physiotherapy learners through their studies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with physiotherapy students to provide advice, support and guidance to those facing discrimination or bullying behaviour.

The role requires you to develop and sustain valuable relationships with the CSP’s network of student representatives and higher education institutions (HEIs) to support students seeking assistance. You will work closely with CSP staff, local CSP representatives and external stakeholders to understand the issues and needs of students, offering integrated support and advice.  You will be comfortable in communicating key messages, developing guidance and supporting promotional events to increase student engagement and recruitment. You will develop processes to capture data and evaluate the impact of this new role.

About Leeds Baby Bank

At Leeds Baby Bank our mission is to ensure no child goes without. We support families in Leeds, with children aged 0-5 years, who are experiencing poverty. We provide families with all the essentials and equipment they need for their babies and young children. This includes bed bundles, nappies and toiletries, baby baths, potties, highchairs, prams and buggies, clothes and shoes, toys and books.

Families are referred to Leeds Baby Bank by our professional referral partners. This includes midwives, health visitors and social workers. The Role

About the organisation: 

The Grenfell 'Education Hub' will open later this year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub will provide educational support to children and young people, their families, and local schools. 

A consultation process in 2023 and 2024 about the needs of the community and the bereaved and survivors led to proposals for an educational ‘hub’.  This will comprise a wide range of professionals including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Coordinator, and a Family Support Worker. Their time will be divided between direct work with children and families in the ‘Hub’, and support for local schools. The activity of the hub aims to;

Fundraising:

• Conduct research on potential funding opportunities and grant applications 

• Assist with the development and implementation of fundraising campaigns

About you 

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

To manage and develop the home from hospital settle service in the hospitals that you are responsible for, to support timely and successful patient discharges from hospital and prevent re-admissions.  You will work in collaboration with hospital teams and community teams to lead and manage your team to support the smooth transition from hospital to home for service users.  The service works with people for time limited support (usually up to 6 weeks) to adjust and settle back in their homes, and to prevent readmission into hospital. 

Key Tasks

• Work in partnership with the hospitals and other health and social care professionals to coordinate safe and timely discharges for referred clients.  This involves attending meetings with hospital personnel including Discharge Co-ordinators and Ward Managers to discuss discharges and plan who and how individuals will be supported as appropriate. 
• Manage a team working across two hospitals and ensuring the service is available between the contracted hours.
• Work collaboratively with other agencies providing support services.
• Conduct initial assessments of people referred to the services as necessary.
• Plan and develop person centred interventions to provide short term support for people after hospital discharge.
• Work with GPs as appropriate in identifying and supporting patients to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions.
• Work with people with a range of needs, dealing with issues ranging from social isolation and keeping people engaged in their community, to preventing unnecessary admission to hospital.
• Support the hospitals with delayed transfer of care (DTOC).

• Manage the budget, sign-off expenses, and ensure the project is delivered to budget, liaising with the Finance Department as necessary.
• Support the directorate with generating funding e.g. being actively involved in consultation of possible projects, providing activity data, opportunity spotting, and/or supporting the production of tenders.
• On a rota basis, provide weekend on call cover for the services you manage, and other hospital settle services provided by AUKEL.

Administration

• Lead on contract reporting, this includes quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports as necessary.
• Carry out annual customer service surveys.
• Enable the impact of the service to be assessed and inform the improvement of other local services by keeping electronic records of all referrals and interventions, and producing reports on activity and outcomes, in accordance with KPIs.
• Meet and produce reports as required by the Head of Service.
• Ensure patient records are regularly updated through AUKEL database, and support staff to complete their administration via training etc.
• Work with the Communications team and the Head of Service, market and promote the service.
• Build and circulate a resource pack for the wider AUKEL team to generate referrals between services delivered by the charity.

The post holder will provide line management and high-quality support to the direct reports in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures. The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.

To be successful as the Senior Keyworker you will need the below experience and skills:

You will have an in-depth knowledge of the range of needs and interventions required for women offenders. The ability to lead a small team to deliver inclusive, innovative and professional services. The ability to not only maintain own a small caseload of women, never compromising on quality engagements, but also to role model best practice and lead a team of Keyworkers
