We are currently seeking a Grants and Trusts Fundraiser as part of the recently agreed investment in fundraising to help us to deliver our strategic and operational ambitions in line with our three-year plan.
The Trusts & Grants Fundraiser reports into the Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications and is responsible for developing our trust fundraising capability, investigating, researching and making approaches for new funding. You will use your excellent communication skills to develop our case for support and to complete impactful and professional applications.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of raising income from trusts, foundations and major grants (ideally within a hospice or healthcare context) together with excellent research, analytical, communication and relationship development skills. You will also be comfortable with working in a small team and with taking initiative and responsibility.
During the first 6 months, the successful candidate will be expected to establish themselves in the new role and develop our trust fundraising strategy with some early income generation. Post this establishment period an annual fundraising target will be proposed and agreed in line with our three-year income generation plan.
We are looking for someone with great interpersonal and negotiation skills with a positive, creative and proactive approach. As well as excellent IT skills, you will need to be self-motivated and comfortable working to financial targets.

I am excited to be working with an amazing support charity in search of an Interim Finance Manager. This is a part-time, London based, hybrid role until the end of October 2024. About the role:
This role is based at Lancaster Police Station. This role involves regular travel and due to the location, a driving license and access to a vehicle is considered an essential requirement. As an IDVA working on Operation Provide you will:
- Work with the Police safeguarding team to identify high risk victims of domestic abuse.
- Check internal systems to check if victims are known or open to internal services and liaise with same.
- Conduct joint visits with the police to victims who are at serious risk of harm to provide independent information about their rights and options to enable them to keep safe from harm.
- Assess their needs and develop a bespoke safety and support plan
- Provide information and advocacy around the criminal justice process
- Liaise with internal and external agencies in order to keep the victim safe from harm and address their needs.
You will need:
- IDVA accreditation and/or have considerable relevant experience in supporting victims of domestic abuse

- knowledge of risk assessment, safety planning & risk management
- an understanding of Safeguarding issues & the legal responsibilities surrounding these
- theoretical, practical & procedural knowledge of civil & criminal justice remedies

We have an exciting opportunity for a Caseworker specialising in Sexual Violence support to join the team in Lancashire. The role will be working out of one of our Lancashire hubs at Blackpool, Preston or Accrington, for 30 hours a week covering shifts Monday to Friday between 9am & 6:30pm working up to 6:30pm at lease two times per week. About the role:
This role offers help and support directly to victims and survivors of sexual violence, making the first contact with survivors to help them determine the best help and support for them, including on-going support from the role holder or referral on to our group-work or Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA's).
The role involves occasional travel across Lancashire, and supporting victims and survivors directly in the community.
The successful post holder will ensure victims and survivors are signposted or referred internally and externally to receive ongoing continuity of support, advocacy and impartial advice and information including reporting to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pre-trial therapy and sexual violence counselling and provide goal orientated continuity of support for cases not in the criminal justice system.

Bradford NHS Trust is responsible for providing hospital services for around 500,000 people, and specialist services for some 1.1 million. Staff work over several sites, including Bradford Royal Infirmary, which provides the majority of inpatient services, and St Luke's Hospital, which predominantly provides outpatient and rehabilitation services.
The Role
You will be joining the Charity at an exciting time as they work towards the plan to become a fully independent Charity by 2025. You will be responsible for overseeing an ambitious fundraising strategy as well as leading the capital appeal to expand the neonatal unit.
A key element of this role will be to identify new opportunities to grow and develop new income streams, providing team leadership to Charity team and their activities to build the fundraising and grant-making capacity.
As Charity Director you will play a key role in developing new strategies and diversifying income streams as well as working closely with the Chair of the Charity to a devise a brand-new five-year plan for the Charity.
About you
You must have had significant experience of leading a small or medium sized charity or have been a senior manager within a larger charity, including demonstrable experience in leading successful change management and service developments as well as be able to demonstrate that you have successfully worked towards targets. Capital appeal experience would also be advantageous. You also need experience of devising and implementing a strategic fundraising plan.

For an International NGO operating in 40 countries worldwide, we are recruiting a Payroll Manager. Reporting to the Association Director of Financial Services, the Payroll Manager will manage all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring compliance with policies and legal regulations. The Payroll Manager will manage a team of 2 Payroll Officers, and will partner closely with HR, Finance and other teams to ensure a seamless payroll operation. This role will oversee both UK and international payroll and will be a key member in the Pensions Committee.
Main Duties:
- Payroll Processing - Oversee the preparation and processing of the organisation's payroll including salaries, benefits, bonuses and deductions
- Handle all discrepancies and resolve issues related to payroll processing
- Compliance and Reporting - Ensure compliance with all internal and external local payroll regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including annual and quarterly reports

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to work with us as an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Manager (Internal). Reporting to the Strategy Lead, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and working with key stakeholders and colleagues across the whole organisation to implement our internal For Everyone Strategic Framework. As a charity for everyone, this framework outlines our approach to embedding equity, diversity and inclusion internally within our organisation and externally in our delivery work.
As the EDI Manager (Internal) you will be implementing the For Everyone Internal Action Plan to help us become a more diverse and inclusive place to work. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project management, from scoping and planning to executing, reporting and evaluating necessary change initiatives across the organisation.
Ensuring quality and timely execution, you will be managing specific EDI work projects and change initiatives, as outlined in the Action Plan.
You will drive culture change at Sustrans by role modelling and embedding equity, diversity and inclusion into all relevant people processes and policies in line with best practice to create a more diverse and inclusive organisation.
You will strengthen the governance of our EDI Groups and Colleague Networks, so that there is more joined-up working on EDI initiatives across the organisation.
This role will be home-based, with the option of hybrid working. Occasional travel to our hubs across the UK will be required as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should have previous experience of managing and implementing EDI related initiatives, including supporting colleagues to embed EDI in their work.
You will be skilled in project management, with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will also be accustomed to multitasking to tight deadlines.
You will demonstrate a strong ability to interpret, analyse and present qualitative and quantitative data and use it to evaluate the impact of projects or initiatives.
As an excellent communicator, you will have the ability to build relationships with ease across a wide range of people.

Who will I be changing the lives of?

Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of a pre agreed curriculum for your learners using pre planned sessions for FS Maths & English, Art, Change Workshops & Careers sessions. Whilst there are teaching resources available it is a requirement of this role that you will tailor the curriculum to the interests and aspirations of the learner that you are working with in order to increase participation and engagement.
- To develop high quality teaching materials and schemes of learning that keep students engaged using creativity, differentiation and extension tasks
- To meet the needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs and in collaboration with the SEND Lead to prepare, implement, monitor and review Individual Educational Packages and EHCP targets.
- To provide a high-quality student experience that enables students to succeed beyond their expectations
