About the role: 

Reporting to the Head of Volunteering, this pivotal role is integral to the effective management of volunteers and the support of our volunteer involving departments. As a Volunteer Resource Administrator, you will be the driving force behind the administration of our new Volunteer Management CRM. You’ll play a key role in designing the setup, managing data migration, and supporting the phased rollout of the system across the Hospice. 

You’ll be our volunteer data champion and take ownership of collecting and analysing volunteer data to showcase their impact, improve recruitment, and retain existing volunteers. You’ll also use data to help identify and reduce barriers to volunteer involvement, there by diversifying our volunteer teams. About the person: 

We’re looking for a highly organised, capable, and experienced administrator, who is fully competent in MS office and has experience with systems management. Ideally, you’ll bring experience of delivering training on digital systems and managing an online platform. You’ll have great interpersonal skills, be approachable, open, and able to communicate with volunteers and staff across the organisation. You’ll demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work, have a positive solution focused outlook, and the ability to prioritise and manage a broad workload.

We are currently recruiting for a Counselling Coordinator to support our Clinical Lead and the counselling team.

RASASC is a registered charity which has been providing support to survivors, of all genders, of rape and sexual abuse (both recent and non-recent) aged 13 and upwards, from across Surrey since 1992.

We provide one-to-one counselling, group support, Helpline, Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA) service, and peer support groups.

Counselling Coordinator

This role is based in Guildford. You will be responsible for the administration and coordination of our counselling service, taking calls and responding to email enquiries from clients, supporting the team with room booking, greeting clients, answering the door, booking assessments and supporting the Clinical Lead and the counselling service in general. This is a varied and exciting role, requiring stamina and a can-do approach! If you are a warm, non-judgemental all-rounder with an excellent understanding of counselling services and the impact of sexual harm, we would love to hear from you.

Key functions

· Receive referrals for our counselling service, family support service and group support. Referrals are received through other agencies, internal services and self-referrals

· Contact potential clients and arrange appointments for assessments with our RASASC Assessors

· Following assessment, allocate clients to an appropriate counsellor supported by the Clinical Lead where necessary/appropriate

· Provide all documentation and information to the client and the counsellor as required 

· Upload, update and maintain all information relating to clients, e.g. referrals and assessments, on Oasis (our CRM)

· Manage assessment processes and ensure assessors produce assessments for the counsellors and the office

· Ensure CORE 10 clinical measure forms, pre and post intervention, are obtained and inputted onto Oasis

· Ensure all other evaluations, pre and post intervention, are obtained and uploaded onto Oasis

· To resolve clients’ disability and access issues when required.

· To support with the monitoring of the waiting list and to proactively discuss with the Clinical Lead and Chief Executive Officer if the need for additional assessors or counsellors is required

· Provide monthly data to the Clinical Lead, Fundraising Manager and Chief Executive Officer as requested

· Provide administrative and IT support for ongoing training for counsellors

· Support with room booking, greeting clients, answering the door, phone calls and dealing with emailed client queries as required

· Be familiar with safeguarding procedures and protocols 

 Reporting Line:

· This post holder reports directly to the Clinical Lead.

Skills and Experience - Essential:

· Good working knowledge and experience of counselling and counselling services

Main Purpose of the Role

The Creative Communications Lead is a key role within the Creative Team.  Working in collaboration with the Operations Team, the role holder has responsibility for the strategic oversight of internal and external communications and the practical ability to continue to develop the excellent design, social media and film content that enables and enhances St Stephen’s ministry.  We are looking for someone with a passion for creative comms, practical skills to enable the delivery and strategic oversight to bring it all into being.

About you:

The right candidate will be self-motivated, organised, accurate and methodical in their approach, with experience and an excellent working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software. You will also support the Company with financial policy, procedure and process compliance.

To be successful, it is essential that you have experience as a qualified accountant. Ideally you will have experience with business improvement projects and will have worked within a similar organisation or charity, however neither are essential. You will have experience working in a high volume transaction environment and be an excellent communicator both verbally and writing. Experience supervising and developing junior team members is also desirable.

About the role:

We are excited to be taking the lead in the London Whole Housing Service Partnership (LWHSP) which will address and enhance the pathways of housing support for women experiencing domestic abuse, from removing them from immediate harm, to enabling recovery and resettlement across all levels of need. The LWHSP are seeking to build on our delivery across 11 East and West London boroughs of the Whole Housing Approach (WHA).

The Housing IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will specialise in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown is a factor. You will work within the team to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. You will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to work as part of Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

About You:

As a Housing IDVA, you will need to have a degree of flexibility for colocation work across London boroughs; providing support to women who have experienced domestic violence, focusing on individuals with housing or tenancy issues. Working in our fast-paced crisis intervention, advocacy and support service, you’ll ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. You will have your own caseload of survivors and will focus on working with those aged 18 and over who access our domestic abuse service. 

You will bring experience in providing independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women who approach housing advice and assessment for help. Ideally experience in working with housing service providers, and advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies. You will have the ability to develop individual safety and support plans in-line with the clients’ needs and the risks they face.

Community Engagement Lead

To help us with this important mission, we’re looking for a Community Engagement Lead to join the team and play a key role in ensuring we achieve our objectives of engaging with and increasing physical activity levels amongst the four key priority groups facing the greatest inequalities: low socio-economic groups, women and girls, disabled people and people with long term health conditions, and culturally diverse communities.

The role

A hugely exciting opportunity has become available to join the Football Foundation as our Community Engagement Lead. This position plays a crucial role in the Foundation achieving its objectives of increasing physical activity levels amongst priority groups facing the greatest inequalities and ensuring great community engagement is championed and embedded across our processes and programmes.

Working with our Funding Partners and key stakeholders at a national level, the postholder will provide strategic leadership to the delivery of the Foundations innovative PlayZones Programme, oversee delivery of our Sport England National Lottery funded Active Through Football programme and lead, manage, mentor, and support a team of Community Engagement Officers & Programme Manager to create a high-performance environment, which allows team members to thrive.

Following recent changes, the Community Engagement Lead and reports are positioned within the Foundations Delivery Team, each with a regional responsibility aligned to the teams regional structure. The postholder will work dynamically with colleagues across the Foundation as well as externally with a range of partner including funding partner organisations, the Active Partnerships, and other National Governing Bodies to continually shape and refine our approaches based on learning, research, and insight.

This role will be challenging, but the post holder has the opportunity to influence change throughout the Foundation’s processes and ensure meaningful community engagement is undertaken by our applicants.

What are we looking for?

You don’t need to follow football to apply, but it is expected that you appreciate the power of sport to change lives and have a genuine interest in using your skills and experience to help the Foundation achieve our charitable and strategic objectives.

Key to this role will be your exceptional knowledge and understanding of place-based working and the ingredients required to successfully tackle inequalities and affect change within a local area. A crucial part of this will be your knowledge of the workings of Local Authorities and the role they play within community development.

You’ll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience of building and managing multiple stakeholder relationships, as well as experience of managing, leading and developing small teams.

You’ll have excellent planning and organisational skills, with experience of developing programmes to meet the requirements of multiple funders, but you’ll also have the flexibility to adapt to a diverse workload. You’ll also have strong attention to detail, with experience of producing robust reports for decision-makers and presenting to panels or committees.

What can we offer you?

The salary band for this role is £48,000 – £55,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience.

You will start on 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. An opportunity to provides practical, emotional, and financial support for anyone affected by chronic kidney disease.
You will engage with kidney patients, their families, and carers as a source of information, support, and advocacy, in order to improve care and wellbeing outcomes for patients.

This may be in the hospital or other care setting, on the phone, online or face-to-face in a mutually acceptable public place.
The role will cover (as part of a team) some of the main renal unit and satellite dialysis units across Dundee, Perth, Kirkcaldy, Lothian, Borders & Lanarkshire, and regular travel and attendance is expected to some sites.

Responsibilities
• With support, establish the Kidney Care UK Patient Support & Advocacy Service in the region so patients, their families, carers and professionals to access independent support on social, financial, health advocacy and wellbeing
• Be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the Patient Support & Advocacy Service across the region and the effective management of a caseload. This involves regular attendance at renal clinics in the region, building relationships with health and care professionals and being available for patients in the renal unit, on the phone or online, or to meet at a mutually convenient public location
• To support patients to build the skills and confidence needed to positively navigate the challenges presented by health, social care, benefits, and financial support pathways, and to overcome barriers and promote independence
• To support patients to connect with services to ensure that they are engaged in shared decision making and that their voice is central to shaping the care and support they receive

Purpose of the role

Twins Trust is at the heart of the multiples’ community, supporting families with twins or triplets, influencing the healthcare system and campaigning on behalf of our community.

Sadly, multiple pregnancies are high risk and part of our work is to support multiple birth families where one or more babies or children have died. This role will involve the day to day running of our Bereavement Service, which supports those families.

Over the past 12 months we have overhauled our bereavement service and developed a new strategy and we are looking for someone who can now implement our new objectives

• To help our families to feel less alone in their grief
• To improve mental well-being by providing coping mechanisms to build emotional strength and resilience when living with grief 

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate individual who wants to support our bereaved community. We are looking for someone who has an understanding of grief and baby loss and who can provide empathetic support and guidance to families who have lost one or more of their babies.

We are looking for someone who will push forward with our new strategy and to continue to grow and manage our peer- to-peer support service by recruiting volunteers and running an organised and effective volunteer led service.

The ideal candidate will continue to develop our bereavement service and make it as impactful as possible by raising the profile of the service, establishing networks with other charities, growing the microsite and engaging with our bereaved community in a supportive and professional manner.

Location: Hybrid/remote. Office space in London Bridge and Woking, although entirely remote option is fine.

Would you like to be part of an exciting collaboration that aims to empower young women and girls aged 16–25 years, helping them to build their confidence and self-esteem?

Woman’s Trust are part of the Maia & Lift project, funded by the London Violence and Reduction Unit to do just that. Join us to provide therapeutic and mental health support to young women and girls, helping to improve the support that is out there for them.

We are looking for a Young Women & Girls Groupworker to deliver psycho-educational workshops to young women and girls, including engagement with service users prior to and, at times, following the workshops and providing information and support to enable increased engagement in the project. You will also offer a short-term counselling service for clients on the Woman’s Trust counselling waiting list following a person-centred approach, as well as the provision of some initial assessments.

This is a part-time (21 hours per week), fixed-term contract for 18 months starting from September 2024, subject to availability of funding and review.
