To be responsible for providing a high standard of supporter care to Demelza’s supporters by responding to written, email, web and telephone enquiries as well as the first point of contact for onsite visitors to ensure excellent supporter engagement.   

You will: 

Input new supporter data and update existing records as needed 
Handle cash and cheque donations adding these directly onto the database to create income batches and ensure reconciliation with the Finance system 
Be the first point of contact for supporters via telephone and visiting in person 
Provide administrative support to all members of the Fundraising Team

Skills and experience

ESSENTIAL:

• Excel (intermediate)
• Excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks software
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience
• Working towards AAT, CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA qualified or finalist. Support will be given towards professional studies and specific trainings
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills
• Exceptional accuracy and keen attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to support a significant finance function

Job Title: People and Culture Apprentice

Reporting to: Strategy Lead and EA to CEO

Location of work: Home based with the expectation to attend the office at least 2/3 days per week dependent on organisational activities, this expectation will be reviewed after the first quarter. As this is an apprentice role you will have a designated 1 day a week to undertake apprenticeship related activity or focused study, this will be agreed with your line manager and flexibility will be available for how this is managed.

Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE

The People and Culture Apprentice will have a varied, critical remit; supporting central administration and the executive office as well as the People and Culture team to deliver an outstanding day to day HR service. The Junction is an out of hours “calming café” service which is open 365 days of the year to support people experiencing pre and/or mental health crisis. The aim of the project is to alleviate the need for people within the Swindon locality to access A&E and/or acute mental health services.

The Felix Project is London's biggest food redistribution charity and the largest end-to-end food redistribution charity in Europe.

Do you want to work as part of a dynamic and engaging team supporting young people in Northampton?

Due to project expansion Aquarius Young People’s Substance misuse team are recruiting for several Complex Needs Substance Misuse Practitioners across the county.

Aquarius has been providing structured and targeted interventions to young people engaging in, at risk of substance misuse or affected by parental substance misuse for many years.

You will work on an outreach basis, including visiting schools & colleges, the Children and Families service, the YOT as well as other local community agencies. The role will involve supporting young people away from engaging in substance misuse. You will provide young people with skills and coping strategies to manage their recovery journey, delivering 1-1 and some group work interventions, targeted outreach to engage 'hard-to-reach' young people and delivery of service talks and substance misuse presentations to enhance external professional workforce development with our partner agencies.

Working hours will be Monday - Friday, 37 hours per week, most work will occur during the day, however as a young people’s service we may occasionally ask you to support out of hours sessional work.

Holding a relevant qualification in substance misuse/youth work/psychology/counselling/ mental health/social care or with relevant experience and willingness to work towards a Level 3 Qualification in Health & Social Care you will also:

• Have experience of working with at risk/vulnerable young people in a community setting.
