About the role
Smart Works is looking to appoint a Head of London Service Delivery for 12 months, to start in September 2024. This is a maternity cover role for an established leadership role within the Smart Works staff team.
The Head of London Service Delivery is responsible for leading the delivery of the Smart Works service across London. Last year the Smart Works centres in London supported over 3500 unemployed women from across London, and the demand for our service is expected to rise significantly in the coming months.
By effectively leading and managing a team of nine, the Head of London Service Delivery will ensure Smart Works is well positioned to meet the growing demand for our services and maintain quality as the charity grows. They will ensure that every client who visits Smart Works leaves their appointment feeling confident and with the best possible chance of job success.
They will monitor performance against KPIs and will work with their team to ensure there is a steady flow of referrals, the volunteer community is engaged and supported and client feedback is consistently positive.
More broadly, the Head of London Service Delivery plays an important role in creating a welcoming environment and a supportive team culture in all three London centres. The successful applicants will need to build strong working relationships across the staff and volunteer teams, as well as with external partners and other senior staff working across the 11 centres across the UK.

Duties and responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the successful candidate will lead a range of activities including:
- Being responsible for delivering a quality, consistent service across all three London centres; this includes the delivery of virtual appointments
- Leading and developing the Service Delivery team working in London, ensuring strong performance against targets and KPIs and creating a supportive team culture
- Representing London in group forums, sharing learnings and best practice with other Smart Works centres
- Acting as a key public brand ambassador for Smart Works Charity in London, especially within the referral partner community
- Day-to-day management of the client CRM system in London, ensuring complete and timely data capture
- Accountability for the management, retention, development and growth of London volunteer community

- Salary of £38,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
- Monday-Friday with typical working hours 9 am -5 pm in line with centre opening Hours. Whilst occasional work from home days can be accommodated, due to the nature of the role, it cannot bedone remotely. We are happy to discuss flexible working
- The role will be based across all three Smart Works centres in London, with the successful applicant being required to regularly spend time in all three centres. The centres are located in Islington, Ladbroke Grove and Croydon

Key Purpose:
This role encompasses the day-to-day running of RABI’s mental health training programme. To include liaising with individuals and organisations seeking training; working with RABI’s specialist training providers; budgeting and invoicing, monitoring and evaluating the service.
In addition, the role will seek to explore possibilities for the development of the service, including working with external organisations across the sector to upskill and empower their staff.

We have a highly skilled team of 30 full-time employees in Malawi implementing this work, based out of two offices in the Northern Region. Our UK office in Bristol comprises a small fundraising and operations team of seven staff (two team members are full-time, all other team members are part-time), 3-5 regular volunteers and interns, and a wider family of volunteers and supporters.
Temwa UK has an experienced and high functioning board of Trustees who are very engaged. The board member who oversees the fundraising portfolio is very active, providing support to the Fundraising & Development Manager and the fundraising team as a whole.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Managing the fundraising strategy and donor relations with oversight of the fundraising office
- Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate the charity’s income generation strategy, ensuring targets are achieved.
- Align the fundraising strategy with the communications and marketing strategy.

Role Responsibilities:
Strategy, planning and growth
· Track progress against plans and budgets, and support shop teams to adapt, phase and prioritise work where appropriate.

You will help them to feed back to the Integrated Care Board on the quality of services for people with a learning disability. Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection are essential. About the Role
As a CRM Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our new customer relationship management (CRM) system and documentation during the Implementation and Business Change stages. You will work closely with the Business Analyst and CRM Business Change Manager, evaluating processes, creating documentation, helping to write test scripts, report and monitor bug fixes while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and helping to implement best practices to enhance the overall effectiveness of our CRM platform.
Key Responsibilities
· Aid in the creation of functional, technical or test documentation.
· Address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues during UAT, and offer solutions to enhance user proficiency.
· Create and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate system behaviour.
· Collaborate with our delivery partner to address defects and ensure timely resolution.
· Create and maintain the accuracy of information on the CRM SharePoint hub.
· Aid the Business Change manager in documenting and measuring the benefits that are linked to each of the delivered requirements, collating measures and KPI results and documenting these to aid in communication of the benefits being realised.
· Aid the Business Change Manager by creating training materials.
About You
· You have proven experience in Quality assurance, testing, or business change.
· Familiarity with CRM platforms, especially Microsoft Dynamics, will be an advantage. You have excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and experience of working on a large-scale project with external suppliers.
· You have experience of using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira to manage system requirements, testing or deployment
· You have an eye for detail and have experience in writing end-user documentation

Rough sleeping data shows that migrants make up more than 50% of the people rough sleeping in London. The Migrant Accommodation Pathways Support (MAPS) service provides a rapid intervention to support clients who are migrants and rough sleeping in London to find a route into accommodation that is suitable and sustainable in the UK or elsewhere in the world. We are looking for someone to join our team as a Coordinator where you will:
- Work alongside our small team who aim to maximise resources and find creative solutions to resolve the issues faced by people experiencing homelessness.
- Be the first point of contact for professionals where you will provide advice and support on next steps to empower professionals to identify routes out of homelessness for their clients.
- Oversee the team’s caseload, supporting the team to identify and deliver effective routes off the streets for non-UK nationals.
- Lead on partnership development for the MAPS service in the UK and with services across the world, maximising accommodation options for non-UK nationals.
While your usual working hours will be from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, occasional work during early or late hours may occur in response to challenging situations and to prevent rough sleeping. For this role staff can claim an additional 20% pay premium for hours worked between 8pm-8am Monday to Friday, and all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday.

Key elements of the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to help Eastbourne Foodbank realise its vision/ambition of continuing to be a strong and effective charity challenging poverty both in Eastbourne and expanding across East Sussex.
- In order to realise this ambition, we need to increase our fundraised income for the period 2024 -2027 to £1.6million.
- Through this new organisational role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income opportunities with individuals, community groups and grant giving trusts and foundations. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships.
- Through your fundraising expertise, you will have a proven track record of building relationships with individuals, community groups, trusts and foundations and other donors to achieve and exceed annual income targets and KPI’s. You’ll have the capacity to create and craft compelling proposals and appeals that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.
Through the design and delivery of excellent, engaging and regular stewardship communications and powerful fundraising appeals, you will grow our income and pool of individual supporters making one off or monthly donations. You’ll also explore and implement ways of promoting Eastbourne Food Bank across the community to successfully attract an ever-greater number of individual donors.
- You’ll engage with local community groups, associations, events, schools and businesses in order to grow Eastbourne Foodbank’s community fundraising reach and income.
- Through excellent, comprehensive and considered research, you’ll identify and prioritise a pool of potential Trusts and Foundations funders for Eastbourne Foodbank and, working with colleagues, you’ll develop authentic, compelling, creative and winning funding bids that can successfully engage new and existing Trusts and Foundations funders.
- You’ll work closely with and support the CEO of Eastbourne Foodbank in maintaining and evolving the existing relationship with the Big Lottery Fund and developing collaborative fundraising activities and joint bids with five other Trussell Trust Foodbanks across East Sussex.
The salary will be £38k to £40k depending on experience

Our flagship intervention is a 9-month award-winning Fellowship Programme for working parents which leads to promotion and therefore gender equality at the top.

Key Responsibilities
Things you will lead on as Digital Marketing Executive include:
Website Management: Keep our website updated to attract inquiries from employers and parents who are committed to gender equality and want to join our Fellowship.
Social Media: Schedule content on LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and Instagram. Engage with our community and key contacts to spread our mission.
Content Repurposing: Support with writing and adjusting copy that resonates with our audience, focusing on their needs and our mission.
Email Marketing: Manage and update our email lists on Mailchimp and our CRM system, ensuring our message reaches those who care about gender equality.
Showcase impact: Support with conducting research and or recording case studies or testimonials.

Podcast administration: Help produce the podcast, including asset creation e.g. socials, liaising with guests but not editing the podcast.

Nacro is a national Social Justice Charity with more than 50 years' experience of changing lives, building stronger communities, and working with stakeholders towards reducing crime.
Nacro deliver the Community Accommodation Support service (CAS) which is a national service across England and Wales. The service allows Courts to make greater use of bail by providing accommodation in the community with support for adult defendants who could not otherwise be bailed. CAS also provides support for adults released from Custody in the last three months of their sentence on Home Detention Curfew (HDC) and other Licence Orders.
The Team provides flexible and holistic support to Residents who have a wide range of support needs. We aim to support our Residents to find and keep a stable home at the end of their CAS-2 placement. You will manage a caseload of Residents and properties in your allocated area.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Support clients to comply with the requirements of their HDC/Bail conditions.
·Producing a realistic and achievable Support Plan to include accessing and using housing and accommodation services to support move on to longer term accommodation.
·Ensure that all Support Plans and Risk Assessments are unique, inclusive and person-centred.
·Provide weekly support to Residents to engage with their support plan and contribute to the achievement of their objectives and aspirations.
·Support Residents to access Housing Benefit in the first instance to ensure that their tenancy is not put at risk with escalating rent arrears.
·Manage properties within your area of responsibility to ensure they are being maintained to Decent Homes Standard by reporting repairs, and replacing furniture and equipment are required.
·Undertake basic cleaning tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
·Plan and deliver effective, person-centred Support and Safety Plans
·Provide weekly support sessions (up to 2 hours per week) working with our Residents to achieve the goals identified on individual Support and Move On Plans.
·Maintain up to date individual Resident records.
·Support Housing Benefit applications for each Resident.
·Complete referrals to specialist support agencies in the community as required.
·Liaise with Partner Agencies such as The Probation and Prison Services, Courts, and Police where necessary.
·Ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and clean.
·Empower and motivate Residents to identify and achieve desired outcomes.
·Develop Move-on plans with Residents at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for their future home.
