We are seeking a Fundraising Manager to help us develop our fundraising programme and raise the funds we need to deliver the aims in our five-year strategy Stopping the Harm and ensure the ongoing sustainability of our organisation.
Our new Fundraising Manager will be flexible, creative and ambitious. We are looking for someone who is passionate about our cause, has a tried and tested, successful approach to diversifying income streams, and can bring our fundraising to life through effective framing and storytelling.
This is vital role which will sit within our Operations team. The post-holder will work closely with Respect’s Director of Operations and the Executive Leadership team (ELT) to develop and deliver our fundraising strategy with some administrative support from the Operations team.
Alongside traditional trusts and foundations, we are looking to expand our funding portfolio and are keen to explore new corporate partnerships and identify high net worth individuals. We recognise that success is not only achieving a fundraising target, but also about building new, strategic relationships. In this role, we will provide the space for the post holder to cultivate, prospect and steward new and existing funders.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity. The free life-saving service is provided 24/7 by helicopters and by rapid response vehicles.
Each critical care team consists of a pilot and co-pilot, a pre-hospital care doctor and a critical care paramedic.
They can be rushed to the scene with life-saving support equipment to deliver advanced clinical care, usually only available in the hospital emergency department.

Job purpose:
The Compliance Manager role has the purpose of maintaining a culture of compliance across the charity whilst ensuring we adhere to all relevant regulations and laws.
Together with the Governance Manager, you will be the key point of contact for compliance, providing advice and support to the team and ensuring we have procedures and controls in place across all areas of the charity. Summary
WE ARE HIRING AND SEEKING A REGIONAL SAFEGUARDING MANAGER
The purpose of the Regional Safeguarding Manager role is to provide line management and professional supervision to a team of Regional Safeguarding Leads operating across eight regions in England.
As the Regional Safeguarding Manager, you will be a member of the National Safeguarding Team (NST), working to support safeguarding practice in Dioceses and Cathedrals across the Church of England. You will be responsible for supervising the Regional Safeguarding Leads and supporting them in fulfilling their complex roles. You will work closely with colleagues in the NST to ensure Church-wide consistency in approach.
You will work across the regions supporting the Regional Safeguarding leads to establish opportunities for shared resourcing, working arrangements and commissioning of collaborative services. - Providing Professional Supervision to the Regional Safeguarding Leads

Key role requirements
- This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work from the office 1 day per week.
- The post holder will be required to travel extensively across the country to visit each of the regions. It is anticipated that this will include an annual visit to each diocese and cathedral and at least monthly meetings in Church House, Westminster.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of our pre-employment checks.

Role Summary
This role will support the expanding team with all engagement activities to ensure that good relationships are maintained with all Alcohol Change UK (ACUK) supporters, beneficiaries and volunteers. The Engagement Officer will undertake administration related to volunteer recruitment and recording of volunteer activities as well as being the first point of contact for the team ensuring ACUK delivers high levels of support to our volunteers. The role will also be responsible for creating content and delivering elements of our engagement communication programme.

About the role
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Property and Asset Manager to lead the Council's property function. This role encompasses strategic planning, development, and management of the Council's non-housing property portfolios (operational, leisure & heritage, community and commercial assets). This will include ensuring the optimal use and management of the Council's estate, maximising financial and social returns while aligning with corporate and political priorities.
There will be a particular focus on the Council's strategic asset management plan and the role also has oversight of the Council’s commercial landlord function. The role is key to the effective delivery of professional advisory, valuation, and transactional services across the Council’s portfolios.
This is an exciting senior role which belongs to the job family of ‘Service Manager’ as such the role holder will be a member of the Council’s Wider Leadership Team (WLT).
About you
It is essential that you are a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. They expect that you will bring a proven record of accomplishment from within the property sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of operating as a service manager in a complex organisation, with a strong understanding of property and asset management principles, ideally in a local government setting. Knowledge and understanding of property valuations is essential.
You will possess excellent people skills allied with the proven ability to listen, explain, negotiate and influence. You will be an enthusiastic, skilled subject matter expert with excellent presentation and report writing skills.
You’ll need analytical and communication skills, political acumen, and the confidence to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ability to effectively operate in a political environment with substantial practical and procedural knowledge of public sector practice is key.
The Council’s property function is small team with a large remit, the post holder must therefore be willing and able to get stuck in and deliver their own broad case load of transactions. At the same time, as the most senior surveyor at the Council, the post holder must be comfortable operating at a strategic level, setting the direction for the wider team as well as being an experienced and competent manager of other managers.

You will be required to attend evening meetings and evening and weekend working as needed from time to time. The Individual Giving Manager will contribute towards Ex Cathedra’s ongoing sustainability and success by maximising philanthropic income:
Strategy and research
• build, maintain and continually seek to expand a pipeline of prospects capable of making gifts at a high 4-, 5- and 6-figure level, making sure that all progress is tracked, monitored and reviewed on a routine basis
• explore our existing data to identify major gift prospects, working in line with data protection law and fundraising regulations
Individual giving
• work closely with the General Manager and Individual Giving Officer to further develop and implement strategies that will increase major gifts and legacy donations to Ex Cathedra, dovetailing with the Trusts and Foundations consultant where appropriate
• arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospects and donors to help build and progress meaningful relationships through regular dialogue
• use their judgement to involve the artistic director, trustees and colleagues where most beneficial/advantageous
• align prospective donors with high-value funding opportunities for the performance programme, education and participation work, or area of greatest need according to the interests of the donor
