You will be self-motivated, able to build your expertise in the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks within which they operate and apply that expertise across a wide portfolio of activity. What you’ll do:

• Provide tailored advice on all matters that might affect a trainee’s status and training time using expertise in the regulatory frameworks associated with specialty training in the UK.
• Proactively work with WDTO colleagues to ensure trainees and trainers are adequately supported.
• Review and prepare CESR and MTI applications for assessment by the specialist committee.
• Manage and deliver the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) recommendation process.
• Provide a timely, customer-focussed and responsive service.

• Detailed understanding (or the ability to rapidly acquire it) of UK legislation and GMC regulations and procedures in relation to entry to GMC registers and the right to work in the UK.

 The Ukraine Humanitarian appeal raised £426 million and helped an estimated 6.9 million people in Ukraine and neighbouring countries. The Grants Manager is integral in working closely with DEC colleagues and members to build and sustain, a solid understanding of the evolving humanitarian context. The Grants Manager will maintain strong oversight of the DEC funded programme including the reporting cycle, adaptive programming and facilitate strong and relevant engagement with DEC member charities and local partners and external briefings over the duration of the response.

Key responsibilities:

Communication and Collaboration

· Key programmes point of contact regarding the DEC funded programme, responding to enquiries from member charity programmes and other related staff, facilitating timely and accurate communication.

· Maintain strong understanding of response context.

· Manage and provide timely, response briefings to internal and external audiences, key stakeholders including the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office [FCDO] and, other key stakeholders.

 

Analysis and Reporting

· Review, evaluate, and advise on member charity plans and reports for consistency, trends analysis and coherence of data across submitted documentation.

· Contribute to the review and analysis of plans and reports submitted by member charities in response to DEC appeals.

· Share timely and relevant information and analysis from plans and reports with DEC member charities and local partners.

Management and Leadership

· Coordinate the team’s surge capacity to deliver points above, which may involve managing and inducting a team of external consultants and training them in the use of our knowledge management system [Box].

In this critical role you will work closely with the Co-Investigator (Jim Hume, Director of Public Affairs & Communications) to ensure effective and impactful delivery of all project outputs and outcomes. The position is a multi-agency project employed by Change Mental Health and will be working in partnership with NHS Highland Public Health, High Life Highland, Museums Heritage Highland, Highland third sector organisations, local community groups and the academic research team.

Our Project Coordinator will engage very closely with regional and local community members, setting up and chairing groups where required in partnership with the wider research team, researching process and impact, developing a toolkit, and disseminating findings via events and online media and communication.

The position requires travel throughout the Highlands. Therefore we are looking for the candidate to be based in the highlands, or in Edinburgh (at our National Office).

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and manage the regional stakeholder group; organise and attend the group meetings, deputising for the Co-Investigator (Director of Public Affairs and Communications at Change Mental Health, Jim Hume) as required.
• Proactively assist in the set-up and management of the local co-design stakeholder groups in partnership with the research team; help with engaging local communities, networking and recruiting group members; liaise with Museums Heritage Highland and High Life Highland (providing venues).
• Chairing the co-design stakeholder groups and organising all the meetings.
• Organise online forums for the co-design groups to share experiences, which includes deputising for the Co-Investigator as required.

Location: Flexible within the UK (Hybrid or Remote with monthly travel to London and occasional international travel)

About the Role

We are looking for an outstanding Institutional Programme Funding Principal to lead our institutional fundraising efforts. This role is critical in shaping and implementing our funding strategy, ensuring we secure and manage large-scale grants that drive our global mission forward. You will be responsible for developing high-quality funding applications, managing relationships with key institutional donors, and ensuring compliance with all funding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the institutional programme funding strategy, coordinating applications, partnerships, and reporting processes.
• Research and cultivate new institutional funding opportunities globally (e.g., FCDO, USAID, NORAD, J/TIP).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design projects aligned with our global and country strategies.
• Produce high-quality, high-value funding applications, including proposals, budgets, Gantt charts, and monitoring plans.
• Negotiate grant agreements and ensure compliance with institutional donor requirements.
• Manage relationships with institutional funders, ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting.
• Support fundraising team members on large trust and foundation grant applications.

The Hepatitis C Trust has developed projects nationally whereby peers use their lived experience of injecting drug use and hepatitis C, to provide education and training to service users and staff in drug and alcohol, hostel and homeless services, increasing hepatitis C awareness, access to testing and referral to treatment, for people living with hepatitis C.  

Do you have experience of working in drug services and with volunteers? Have you been affected by hepatitis C or have you supported anyone who has hepatitis C? We are looking for a passionate and skilled peer lead who has excellent communication and organisational skills. We require a good standard of education and welcome creativity and innovation in all our work.   

Working under the guidance of the Peer Programme Manager, this post will continue the development of the project, recruiting and coordinating peers across Cardiff and The Vale of Glamorgan. Working in partnership with hepatitis C clinical teams, drug and alcohol services and homeless service providers, the post will coordinate delivery of educational workshops, hepatitis C testing in community settings, ensure that service users are referred and supported through hepatitis C treatment and care.  

This post will require extensive travel across the Cardiff & Vale, and it is desirable for the post holder to hold a clean driving license and have their own vehicle for work-related travel.

1. Promote the work of Crich Tramway Village to a range of organisations and individuals, developing partnership opportunities.
2. In conjunction with the Marketing team, ensure the wide promotion of volunteering at the Museum through a diverse range of media.
3. Liaise with all Museum departments to ascertain the need and requirements for volunteer team members.
4. Induct new volunteers to the Museum and ensure that they receive the appropriate training and introduction to their host departments.
5. Develop a system for welfare support to ensure that volunteers settle effectively into their roles and gain fulfilment from their work. Assist with any issues and difficulties encountered.
6. Ensure that effective risk assessment and safeguarding procedures are in place appropriate to all volunteers.
7. Develop a reward and recognition programme for volunteers.
8. Evaluate the contribution of volunteers recruited through the Project and the outcomes and benefits for each individual’.
9. Liaise with the Database team to ensure that all volunteers are recorded on the system, including emergency contact and other relevant information.
10. Adhere to and support all Museum policies and procedures.

As our Communications Coordinator you will be responsible for all-source Communications Management from a range of stakeholders. You will be a confident communicator especially via telephone and digital channels and possess the ability to adapt to a variety of communication styles. You will have experience delivering a professional service in response to enquiries and the ability to formulate bespoke correspondence. You can create insight reports from electronic data to sensitively secure client consent to share their good news stories for publication in media channels. You will support the Caseworker team in handling new enquiries and general service administration as required. You will hold a small allocation of tracing cases, since, integral to everything we do is the continual experience of working alongside our core service users with empathy and care and to join with the team in helping to bring about reconciliations.
