As this is an apprentice role you will have a designated 1 day a week to undertake apprenticeship related activity or focused study – this will be agreed with your line manager.

• Ability to meet the entry requirements for a Level 3 HR Support Apprentice Programme and undertake the studying and course work required to complete the course.

• Provide admin support to colleagues in Research, Influencing and Devolved Nations for in-person events focused on improving the standard of diagnosis, treatment, and care in pancreatic cancer.

About the role:

As a Recruitment/HR Administrator, you will be joining a small dedicated Recruitment team providing an effective and efficient recruitment service to meet the organisation’s resourcing and staffing needs. About the Operations and Facilities Assistant role

We are seeking an Operations and Facilities Assistant to work closely with the Senior Operations & Facilities Manager to ensure the effective and efficient running of the organisation’s administrative systems and day to day activities.

We're looking for a keen and motivated Training Administrator to join our small, friendly team at our head office in Rugby.  You'll be working closely with our Training Manager and ISVA  (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) Training Project Manager, facilitating the smooth delivery of workshops, events and meetings, advertising and promoting training workshops and preparing training delivery and feedback reports.  The Survivors Trust provides a range of workshops and training opportunities for professionals working with victims and survivors of sexual violence and sexual abuse.

You will provide high level administrative support for the Training Manager and ISVA Training Project Manager, overseeing training bookings and maintaining a database of trainees on our CRM (Beacon).  You will be responsible for collecting and collating feedback from training attendees and preparing reports to support training delivery.  Working in collaboration with the Training Team you will support the advertising and marketing of training opportunities including updating relevant website content. 

You will also maintain accurate records of training and project delivery, including budgets and impact measures data for both internal and external stakeholders.  Part of your role will include gathering statistics for monitoring and reporting processes.

You will ideally have previous experience of administration in a training setting and/or working in the voluntary sector but please don't be put off applying if you don't meet all requirements.  The right candidate will be an effective communcator in a friendly and professional manner, with excellent IT skills including CRM and LMS.

This role will be working on a helpdesk for the project management unit. As a Project Assistant, you will provide essential administrative support to our dedicated Clusters and Units. Based in the Project Management Unit (PMU), you will play a crucial role in delivering the project support that the PMU provides to the institute.

We are seeking an individual with experience in administrative roles within a professional, service-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Our General Advice Team covers a range of different projects, giving advice over the phone, virtually, face-to-face or in outreach locations. The post holder will need to be self-motivated, organised and flexible, delivering generalist level advice and information.

The role involves advising on all areas of general advice, assisting with the completion of paper and digital forms and making referrals to internal or external services. The post holder will need to be digitally aware and be able to record all client contact and outcomes as well as make referrals electronically.

1. One years’ experience of delivering generalist advice within Citizens Advice or another quality assured environment such as AQS.

6. Understanding of barriers individuals have to accessing CAL’s services.

7. A good, up to date, understanding of equality and diversity and its application to the provision of advice.

9. Effective oral and written communication skills.

10. Ability and willingness to work both on own initiative and as part of a team.

11. Willingness to learn and develop skills and be flexible with service delivery.

13. Ability to assist with research and campaigns works by providing information about clients’ circumstances.

Official Job Title: Early Literacy Interventionist 

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you keen to work with children to support and develop their phonics and reading skills? 

40% of children from disadvantaged backgrounds leave primary school in England each year unable to read to the expected standard. Chapter One is a fast-growing charity, with a vision of a world in which all children have the literacy skills they need to thrive. We work to ensure that all children have 1:1 reading support at the time they need it most.

Our Early Literacy Intervention (ELI) programme (based on a model that serves 20,000 children successfully in the USA) provides daily, 1:1, 7 minute phonics sessions for children who are behind in phonics. Using a bespoke technology tool, a trained Early Literacy Interventionist works individually with target children. 

We are seeking a part-time Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI), based at Galleywall Primary School in Southwark, South London. This ELI role, reporting to the Schools Development Manager, is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and grow their knowledge of phonics and/or their teaching skill set. It is ideal for someone with previous school experience who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

For your caseload of target children, you will conduct an initial baseline assessment and then deliver differentiated, 1:1, targeted, 7 minute phonics sessions to pupils using a systematic, synthetic approach. Although you are employed by Chapter One, you will work closely with the school team to understand the progression of the school’s phonics teaching; establish tailored plans for each child and feedback on pupil progress. Using your knowledge and insight, you will also collaborate with colleagues at Chapter One to further improve the ELI model, the online tool and programme delivery.

We are seeking a Mission Enabler, Regional Mission to work in partnership with key staff across the Movement. They will provide direction and energy to Scripture Union’s Regional Ministry with a focus on establishing and sustaining ministry opportunities. This will require the person to recruit, motivate, train, equip and support a large number of volunteers/Faith Guides, with whom they work in partnership as well as leading by example, through the modelling of excellent mission delivery to children and young people consistent with Scripture Union’s mission. This role will the cover Hampshire, Surrey and Sussex areas.

The successful candidate will:

· Identify, recruit and support Faith Guides, volunteers and Local Mission Partners (LMPs) through a range of methods, including electronic, phone and face to face.

· Provide relevant coaching and/or mentoring, equipping and resourcing for Faith Guides, volunteers and LMPs.

· Lead local mission activity within Scripture Union’s mission framework, establishing a clear hand-over process and timetable to local church partners.

· Pioneer new approaches/ideas in line with SU’s strategy that have the potential to be replicated elsewhere and lead to a greater scale and depth of mission activity.

· Support, by promotion or direct involvement,  SU’s wider programme of holidays and missions across England and Wales and, if appropriate, internationally.

· Undertake specific fundraising activities and approaches in line with SU’s fundraising approach.
