The role

Cruse Bereavement Support is the UK’s leading Bereavement charity. We help people through one of the most painful times of their lives through bereavement support, information and campaigning.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Service Delivery Co-ordinator to join our Somewhere For Us Project team.  The aim of the Somewhere For Us project is to ensure that children and young people feel supported on their grief journey.  The project service is co-designed with a Youth Advisory Group.  You will be responsible for the delivery of a range of bereavement supports to children, young people and communities across the Western and Northern Trust Areas and wider NI if required.  The support is provided through Understanding Your Child’s Bereavement online session for parents, group support, 1-1 support and Understanding Your Bereavement online sessions for children and young people.  Awareness sessions are provided to organisations and individuals working with children and young people within the community, for example sports clubs, community groups, schools, churches.  

The Somewhere For Us Project supports bereaved children and young people aged 8 – 25.  It is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund through their Empowering Young People funding stream.

The post is based in our Foyle office, with one day a week in Belfast.  The post is funded until the end of June 2027.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Organisational Funding Manager to act as a point of contact between 10 voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations, Auriga Services and Utilita Giving. Building positive relationships with all stakeholders to successfully deliver the place-based support element of the Utilita Giving pilot.

As a Organisational Funding Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of investment funds, ensuring their efficient operation and growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship and contract between Auriga Services and Utilita Giving.
• Meet key reporting deadlines, collecting data and information to the relevant boards both internally and externally.
• Ensure the operational team achieves all contractual obligations and where delivery is off track action is taken immediately.
• Lead day to day contract management of all 10 community organisations who are selected to deliver the pilot service, 5 in Leicester & 5 in Luton.
• Work with the funded organisations to deliver key reporting deadlines, collecting and collating data and information relative to the pilot.
• Shape and design efficient reporting, monitoring and evaluation processes for all 10 community organisations.
• Track budgets and spending to ensure project delivery.
• Monitor outcomes and KPI’s of each funded organisation to ensure they remain on target to meet their pilot outputs.
• Support effective working relationships across the business and act as an ambassador, advocating with external organisations.
• Travel, as necessary (weekly/monthly/quarterly) to have presence on site in both Leicester & Luton, engaging with the funded organisations which Utilita Giving are funding. It is expected that the Organisational Funding Manager will visit each organisation at least once per month. All expenses will be paid.

• To be aware of our child protection procedures and immediately report any child protection matter or concerns to a TACT manager and any relevant placing authority and the area authority.
• To carry out the duties in line with our Foster Carer and Supervising Social Worker Standards and Practice Guidance.

Rates of Pay for Form F Assessors

• We will pay £2000  (inclusive of VAT) upon successful completion of a Form F Assessment.
• £33 per hour for assessments which are not completed, and any other piece of work.

About the role:

This role is based in Ashford, Kent and is offered on a hybrid working pattern with regular travel across Kent and Medway.

Accountabilities

There are three main activities within the France team:

The Programme Coordinator will serve as the administrative officer for the team. We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Officer to support the HR and Operations team to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of our core operations functions with a strategic focus on accessibility and user experience in a neurodiverse organisation. 

The Operations Officer plays a key role in the delivery of infrastructure projects and provide essential support to the effective day-to-day running of the charity and works closely with all core teams, ensuring processes operating effectively to allow CASPA to grow and adapt to the needs of our members and staff.

We’re looking for a Research Funding Administrator to join our team

Salary: £30,291

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid

Hours: Full time and permanent.  35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am – 6pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

About the role and why we need you

To help start new cancer cures and save lives, we are looking for a Research Funding Administrator to join the busy Research team at Worldwide Cancer Research.  As Research Funding Administrator, you will be part of the team running the Charity’s multi-million-pound response-mode funding programme for discovery cancer research. Reporting to the Research Funding Manager, you will assist with the processing of funding applications, their review by external experts and the charity’s Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC), and the administration and financial management of the resulting awards.
