We're looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will cover West Essex (Harlow, Epping & Uttlesford), playing a pivotal role in supporting unpaid family carers who look after someone due to their age, disability, long-term physical or mental health condition or an addiction. The role
We are looking for someone dynamic and engaging, with excellent communication and volunteer management skills, as well as a commitment to delivering a high-quality service in line with our mission and core values. In addition, to working with the team in the FareShare Regional Centre you will also work closely with the FareShare National Volunteering Team. You will work together to provide a consistent volunteer experience across the FareShare network, which is enjoyable, rewarding, and safe for our volunteers.
You should be self-motivated, with experience of working within volunteer management and able to manage ad-hoc corporate groups, short term volunteering schemes as well as long-term and regular volunteers. Additionally, you should be able to deliver end to end volunteer recruitment activities and provide on-going supervision and support to volunteers, ensuring that their training needs are met. You should also be able to develop and deliver a range of local volunteer engagement activities. Furthermore, you should have experience promoting and championing the role of volunteers, so that they are respected and valued for their contribution to the organisation.
Main areas of responsibility
Volunteer recruitment
- Develop and implement a regional volunteer recruitment strategy that will deliver an extensive pool of diverse and engaged volunteers to ensure the operational needs of your FareShare Regional Centre are met in a timely manner.
- Recruit, build and maintain relationships with a wide range of regional volunteer sources, ensuring regular engagement leading to long term partnerships.
- Regular liaison with the FareShare National Volunteering Team to capitalise on national initiatives.
Volunteer engagement and communication strategies
- Develop and deliver a regional engagement programme that ensures all volunteers have a rewarding experience, whilst effectively contributing to FareShare’s overall development
- Promote volunteering, internally and externally in collaboration with the FareShare national team and ensure that the impact of volunteers is celebrated.
- Deliver the FareShare National volunteer induction programme to maximise the engagement and contribution of each volunteer.

Policies and procedures
- Implement volunteer management policies and procedures in line with guidance from the FareShare National Volunteering Team.

Making FareShare a destination for volunteering
- Enhance the experience of volunteering at your FareShare Regional Centre by delivering robust policies, together with effective engagement and communication programmes, so that volunteers enjoy what they do and can feel proud of their contribution and become ambassadors.
- Liaise with FareShare Nationals Marketing & Volunteering Teams to promote and publicise case studies and examples of volunteer success stories.
- To engage with other FareShare Regional Centres and the FareShare National Volunteering Team on a quarterly basis to deliver UK wide volunteering activity and share good practice.
- Work alongside the FareShare National Volunteering Team to evaluate volunteer experience and establish annual benchmarks for the FareShare Network, including volunteer satisfaction, conversion, retention, training, etc. This will be used for development of recruitment and engagement strategies.
Experience
- Developing and delivering successful volunteer recruitment, training and engagement programmes.

The role
As a Community Coordinator for FareShare, your primary responsibility will be to manage and sustain the Community Food Membership (CFM) programme. Your goal will be to build and maximize relationships with our partner. To excel in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator with an approachable nature, capable of securing, developing, and maintaining relationships whilst raising awareness of FareShare Merseyside and North Wales (FSM&NW) across the region.
The Community Coordinator will require a full clean driving licence, have access to a vehicle and be competent and confident traveling independently as they will be traveling across our region, Wirral, Knowsley, Sefton, Halton, Cheshire East, Liverpool and North Wales.
As a Community Coordinator it is vital to ensuring the success and sustainability of the FareShare’s CFM’s, fostering, strong, supportive relationships with our charity partners making a positive impact.
Main areas of responsibility
This role requires close collaboration with the Regional Manager, the Finance team, and Head Office. The Community Coordinator is expected to meet recruitment and retention targets, produce comprehensive reports, and ensure all requirements of funders are met.

- Experience with customer relationships management systems.
- Strong IT and Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Excel and Word are essential.
- Strong numeracy.

Z House is an exciting new project for Caring in Bristol. It will provide much needed emergency short-term accommodation for 18 – 25-year-olds in housing crisis, which links in with daytime support to help people move on to sustainable appropriate accommodation.
Based in St Pauls, Bristol, Z House bridges the gap between high quality night shelter and person-centred homelessness prevention.
Z House is a low support needs night shelter that can offer placements for up to 4 young people, however we seek to increase this number over the course of the next stage of our journey.
After a successful pilot, we are now seeking a Weeknight (Monday – Thursday) Worker to help us deliver this vital work over the next year.
Starting at 8:30pm in the evening, supporting our young people to settle for the evening before your sleep-in shift from 11:30pm until 7:00am, in the morning you’ll support the young people and our volunteers with breakfast and room change for the day, finishing your shift at 8:30am.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Alongside a volunteer and the Monday to Thursday night worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe space, listening ear, support and guidance for young people who will have just started to experience homelessness or housing insecurity.
Reporting to the Youth Services Manager, successful applicants will maintain a safe and welcoming environment overnight at Z House, provide appropriate person-centred support to young people and manage overnight issues and incidents should they occur.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Housing Management
· Sign up and induct young people arriving outside of normal working hours
· Carry out any required health and safety, housing management, risk management monitoring, keeping accurate and complete records throughout.
· Identify and report defects in the buildings, furniture, and equipment to promote a safe
working environment in line with Health and Safety and follow relevant procedures to
remedy all defects.
· Contribute to the upkeep of services, ensuring young people’s rooms, communal and
colleague areas are well maintained, serviced, safe and clean.
Supporting Young People
· Provide support and guidance for young people as appropriate and liaise with their support worker to ensure strong communication.
· Promote the participation and involvement of young people within and outside the
organisation to elevate users’ voice in the delivery of the Z House service.
· Ensure initial safeguarding duties and Policies are met alongside our DSL and on-call manager.
· Ensure all relevant records (including case-notes, safeguarding, incident, and other logs) are
completed for all shifts.
Volunteers
· To support and provide guidance to volunteers partnering your shift.
· Ensure the volunteers’ experience at Caring in Bristol is enjoyable and adds value to the lives of those we support.
· Record volunteer needs with the Youth Services Manager or Project Coordinator.
Other
· Ensure all shift handover tasks and processes are completed satisfactorily including a
comprehensive handover for the Z House Coordinator.
· Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk, working within Caring in Bristol’s
safeguarding policies, Southwest Child Protection Procedures, and local procedures for
safeguarding adults at risk.
· Carry out day-to-day administration functions to ensure that all records and files are
maintained and stored securely in line with the Data Protection legislation.
· Deliver a diverse and culturally sensitive approach, ensuring that anti-discriminatory practice
and equality of opportunity are promoted within all aspects of Caring in Bristol services.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Alongside a volunteer and the Monday to Thursday night worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe space, listening ear, support and guidance for young people who will have just started to experience homelessness or housing insecurity.
Reporting to the Youth Services Manager, successful applicants will maintain a safe and welcoming environment overnight at Z House, provide appropriate person-centred support to young people and manage overnight issues and incidents should they occur.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Housing Management
· Sign up and induct young people arriving outside of normal working hours
· Carry out any required health and safety, housing management, risk management monitoring, keeping accurate and complete records throughout.
· Identify and report defects in the buildings, furniture, and equipment to promote a safe
working environment in line with Health and Safety and follow relevant procedures to
remedy all defects.
· Contribute to the upkeep of services, ensuring young people’s rooms, communal and
colleague areas are well maintained, serviced, safe and clean.
Supporting Young People
· Provide support and guidance for young people as appropriate and liaise with their support worker to ensure strong communication.
· Promote the participation and involvement of young people within and outside the
organisation to elevate users’ voice in the delivery of the Z House service.
· Ensure initial safeguarding duties and policies are met alongside our DSL and on-call manager.
· Ensure all relevant records (including case-notes, safeguarding, incident, and other logs) are
completed for all shifts.
Volunteers
· To support and provide guidance to volunteers partnering your shift.
· Ensure the volunteers’ experience at Caring in Bristol is enjoyable and adds value to the lives of those we support.
· Record volunteer needs with the Youth Services Manager or Project Coordinator.
Other
· Ensure all shift handover tasks and processes are completed satisfactorily including a
comprehensive handover for the Z House Coordinator.
· Safeguard the welfare of children, young people, and adults at risk, working within Caring in Bristol’s
safeguarding policies, Southwest Child Protection Procedures, and local procedures for
safeguarding adults at risk.
· Carry out day-to-day administration functions to ensure that all records and files are
maintained and stored securely in line with Data Protection legislation.
· Deliver a diverse and culturally sensitive approach, ensuring that anti-discriminatory practice
and equality of opportunity are promoted within all aspects of Caring in Bristol’s services.

The Role of the Community Engagement Lead
The Community Engagement Lead will be a key member of the team delivering the I AM Brent MyEnds programme. They will develop and maintain strong relationships with the breadth of young and older community members, and local businesses to conduct community engagement. They will subscribe to the values of co-production and work positively in accordance with I AM Brent’s Equal Opportunities, Safeguarding, Data Protection and Health and Safety policies.
In addition, the Community Engagement Lead will:
· act as the primary contact for requests from the community for information about I AM Brent’s services and events,

· provide status reports regarding upcoming community outreach, engagement, events, and initiatives to consortium members and community members, and provide end of community activity reports to the Programme Manager,

About the role
We are looking for a Driver and Admin Assistant who will be responsible for transporting office staff, visiting Sightsavers personnel, and consultants as needed. The Driver will also ensure the maintenance and safety of all office vehicles. Additionally, the Driver will perform clerical duties to support the efficient operation of the office.
Responsibilities
- Drive safely within the laws of Benin at all times and with respect for other road users and pedestrians.
- Pick up Sightsavers staff to and from the airport where this service is not outsourced.
- Check fuel, oil, and water daily and fill up as necessary.
- Keep vehicles in a clean condition inside and outside.
- Undertake routine maintenance of vehicles, including simple repairs.
- Ensure vehicles are regularly serviced and advise the Finance & Administrative Assistant when servicing is required and/or when defects/problems arise.
- Make sure all vehicles have reflectors, fire extinguishers, first aid boxes, etc. First aid boxes for the vehicles must be checked regularly to ensure that items used are promptly replenished.
- Keep a maintenance record of vehicles
- Maintain liaison with officials of immigration and embassies for staff entry visas and renewal of passports and work permits.
- Assist in picking up invoices for procuring logistics.
- Perform other duties as required.

About the role
The Program Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of NTD projects in Benin. This position is responsible for managing projects within budget and on schedule, collaborating closely with partners to meet agreed timelines and project documentation requirements. Principle Accountabilities

About this key role
Within this role as the West Mercia Youth Justice Team Caseworker, you will establish positive and professional relationships with the children, young people, parents/carers and professionals accessing the service, building trust and create a safe space in which the children and young people can explore challenging and potentially traumatic issues and topics.
