We have a fantastic opportunity for a Financial Inclusion Officer to join our Communities team at Sovereign Network Group. You’ll help to shape and deliver our exciting new Energy Support service, aiming to be proactive and preventative in fuel and energy insecurity. You’ll be working in the community and with customers across our geography.

The Role

You’ll be part of our Financial Inclusion team, looking holistically at customers and their household circumstances and finding innovative ways to support them to make sustained changes. You’ll be working with partners, building new relationships both internally and externally, with an overall aim to aid our customers to become financially resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and enhancing financial inclusion initiatives, with a primary focus on energy-related projects
• Collaborating with customer support teams to ensure impactful delivery of financial inclusion offers
• Supporting operational activities of Financial Inclusion programs across SNG communities
• Working closely with the Financial and Digital Inclusion Manager to identify new delivery partners and continue to develop financial inclusion offers for sustained positive customer impact
• Reporting and analysing on program impacts to evaluate value for money and guide future planning

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, with an understanding of financial inclusion challenges and its impacts would be beneficial but isn’t essential. You will need:

• A proactive, creative, and innovative approach to your work and problem-solving 
• A customer-centric mindset, ensuring customer needs are at the forefront
• Proven stakeholder management experience with the ability to engage colleagues and external partners effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in data processing and analysis, particularly with high-volume datasets
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel and Outlook

About the organisation

nia has been delivering services to women, girls and children who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence and abuse, including prostitution, since 1975. The organisation has three main aims: to provide services for women, girls and children who have experienced men’s violence; contributing to ending male violence against women and girls, and to inform and influence policy and public awareness.
The Emma Project, Daria House and Jan’s Place are specialist services providing refuge and support services to women who have been subjected to domestic and/or sexual violence and abuse, including women who have been sexually exploited, including through prostitution and who also use substances problematically.

About the post

These posts are currently funded until 31st March 2026 with a possibility of further extension. You will work closely alongside the refuges Team Leader and Service Manager to implement and deliver a trauma informed approach to refuge services.

Citizens Advice Southwark has been awarded funding by City Bridge Foundation to provide a welfare benefits advice service for Southwark residents and we are now seeking to recruit a full time welfare benefits caseworker.

The caseworker will be based between our two main offices in Peckham and Walworth and will assist with raising awareness and completing benefit claims, advocating on behalf of clients and submitting reviews and appeals. The caseworker will also train a team of volunteers to increase capacity and expertise and will act in a consultancy role for generalist advisers and frontline workers in other agencies in the borough.

To be successful you will need:

• At least one year’s full time (or part time equivalent) paid or unpaid recent experience of advice work.
• An in-depth knowledge of welfare benefits including those related to disability and sickness.

• Ensure that male survivors' safety & housing needs are met

International Field Officer - various locations overseas (January 2025 start date)

When you become a Field Officer in HALO, you join a team with a shared commitment to making a difference in some of the most vulnerable communities in the world. HALO offers a full training package for the role of Field Officer, and you do not require previous knowledge of landmine clearance or ordnance disposal.

The Role

Working as part of the wider Technology department, the Salesforce Data Analyst Manager reports to the Head of Technology and will work closely with the Technical Solutions Specialist and the wider Salesforce project team.

This role is responsible for the quality of data imported and exported from Salesforce and our SQL databases.

The Data Analyst Manager will implement and oversee a data strategy to streamline ETL processes, ensure data quality and produce regular data quality reports. Additionally, they will be responsible for the administering and securing of our SQL server used for data-centric processes. You will be seen as a subject matter expert in their field, providing support across the organisation on a range of key projects.

About You

We’re looking for a hands-on manager, who can get stuck in on the daily tasks and lead a team of data analysts who are tasked with day-to-day operational duties.

You will have:

· Extensive experience of managing and developing a data analyst team

· Proven history of leadership and mentoring

· Proven experience in data management, analysis, reporting and visualisation

· Proven track record of identifying and remediating data inaccuracies to maintain high data quality

· Extensive experience of administering Microsoft SQL, SQL Server

· Strong proficiency in data analysis tools

· Experience of working in the nonprofit sector is desirable

We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic, self-motivated person who is willing to work hard and be part of an already successful team. Formal learning or training in fundraising and fundraising methodologies is desirable. Demonstrating a successful track record in fundraising is essential.

You will be interested in making a difference both within the workplace and within the community we serve. You should be a good team player but at the same time be able to work on your own initiative. The quality of service we offer is of a very high standard and must be always maintained.

The aim of Advice Service Supervisor is to maintain a consistent quality of advice and help for clients by providing support, guidance and feedback on a day to day basis. There are 3 main areas:

• ensuring quality - actively supporting the quality of advice by guiding the team to information sources, checking that all aspects of a client's situation have been considered, checking that follow up work is progressed, and that research and campaigns issues are identified
• providing support - actively supporting each team member to develop their skills and competences, by explaining, guiding, demonstrating, encouraging, suggesting, coaching, giving constructive feedback and challenging appropriately - adapting the level of support to individual competence and need, and taking account of the team as a whole
• managing the practicalities - overseeing and managing all practical issues relating to the session - allocating the team to face-to-face work or other communication methods, checking waiting times or interview lengths, and if necessary, dealing with client or Citizens Advice emergencies

Requirements

1. A minimum of 12 months experience of advice work in a Citizens Advice setting or similar quality assured environment.
2. Ability to effectively manage and support people to meet individual and team objectives.
3. Ability to monitor and maintain Quality of Advice standards including checking accuracy of advice and benefit calculations.
4. Good understanding of safeguarding principles and willingness to adhere to them
5. Experience of using ICT systems and packages, and electronic resources in the provision of advice, record keeping and document production.
6. Ability to work on own initiative and be flexible to business need.
7. Demonstrable understanding of the issues affecting society and their implications for Citizens Advice clients and service provision.
8. Ability to create a positive working environment in which equality, diversity and inclusion are well managed, dignity at work is upheld and staff are empowered and motivated to do their best.
9. The ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service and the vision of Citizens Advice Liverpool

About the role

This role is focused on the project management and delivery of our wear it pink campaign. Along with the mass participation manager, this role will play a key part in the planning and execution of wear it pink, with a focus on the design and development of our supporter journeys. 

With support from the mass participation manager, you’ll be responsible for building and executing a wear it pink supporter journey that looks to maximise income from our registrants as well as create strong relationships and repeat participation. You’ll also be responsible for other exciting projects throughout the campaign such as the fundraising pack development, content creation and working with teams across the organisation to deliver the campaign. 

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the world of mass participation fundraising, project management and the charity sector.

I have a really exciting, newly created Communications Manager role with a small Arts and Community charity, where you will come in as a Communications expert, and build their strategy from scratch. You will work with an established organisation, helping them to reach the next level and reach wider audiences. The role is unique in that you can be strategic but also hands-on.

You will immerse yourself in the different spaces and meet the teams across London, and help share and tell the story of the charity. They are looking for a communications expert, who has developed strategies previously, and who are passionate about the arts, media and creative industries.

The role can be offered as either part-time or full-time.

The charity operates as a solution for otherwise vacant property, through charitable occupation. This can range from short term 18 months to 3 years or longer term 3 – 10 years. They currently have over 500 affordable artist workspaces, and 5 project spaces where they provide a programme of arts and educational events.

• Salary £35,000 – £39,000 pro rata

• Benefits: Holiday Entitlement (as well as Christmas period and bank holidays), Pension Scheme (you can opt out if you wish to). Commitment to your development, with quarterly meetings to discuss ongoing progress, address issues and revaluate objectives.

• Working either 3, 4 or 5 days per week.
• Initial 6 month rolling contract, with the view to going permanent.
• Location: Flexible working from home, and from their London office spaces. Predominantly in Peckham and Woolwich.
• Expectation to attend 4 or more events per month outside of working hours.
