You will also develop care plans, provide case management, ensure integrated pathways and support the development of family intervention within the wider team. You will also allocate and oversee the work of peer mentors and volunteers as required.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community care (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies).  Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. What’s more, you have a flexible approach, a commitment to the principles of confidentiality and the ability to write client records and report and fulfil data requirements.

About the Role

As Deputy Service Manager, you will manage a team delivering an assessment, support and move on service to care leavers in supported accommodation and outreach services.

Working under the direction, guidance and support of the Pathway Manager you will facilitate services to ensure a seamless and cohesive accommodation-based support package for young care leavers who may be at risk of homelessness across Cheshire West and Chester, or who need support in their own homes through the outreach services.

Key responsibilities include:

· Deputies for the Pathway Manager during periods of his or her absence, in the service delivery including external meetings such as monitoring and contract review meetings with the commissioners.

· Manage the service delivery at the accommodation services and outreach, line managing the staff teams.

· Providing relevant reporting internally and externally, including ensuring all health and safety requirements are completed promptly to comply with Housing Associations and legal obligations of the landlord.

· You will ensure the highest standards of support to young people is provided and that housing management is effective, and you will work to KPI targets in these areas.

You will join us as a Plant Maintenance Engineer who will support the General Manager with the safe operation of the site, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) System, planned down time of key equipment for planned, safe and cost effective overhaul.
 
Plant Engineer Requirements
 
The successful candidate will be qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering, ideally with experience from a related process industry. Experience in engineering, PLC controls or electronics would also be an advantage. You will ideally hold a qualification or possess experience in materials handling, confined spaces, working at heights and first aid. Training will be provided to achieve in house WAMITAB competency standards and a NEBOSH general certificate, if these are not already held.
 
You will have the ability to follow procedure and protocol, experience of cost control and managing budgets and adapt to changing circumstances effectively. Be self-motivated, flexible and with good people management experience. You will be a great team player but also confident to work on your own. It is desirable that you have experience of environmental, safety and quality management systems. Experience of working with planned preventive maintenance systems is also essential for this position.
 
Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving licence is required. You will have the ability to operate a telehandler truck and obtain a telehandler licence. The role will involve working weekends, call out on a rota basis and remote monitoring of the AD Process.

We are looking for an experienced Grants Fundraiser to join our highly successful Grants team at an exciting time for WWT.

As Grants Fundraiser you will manage a wide funder portfolio of charitable trust, statutory and Lottery grant partners, with a combined value in excess of £1M and supporting a range of high-impact and innovative programmes across the UK. 

The Grants Team make a major contribution to raising critical funding for high-impact and innovative conservation, education and community-focussed programmes in the UK and internationally, raising in excess of £3M p/a. This is an exciting opportunity to maximise the potential of key relationships with a range of UK grant funders. The successful candidate will help influence the development of key projects to ensure projects are aligned with strategy and create compelling funding proposals. 

The role is a permanent full time position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. What we do

Our Strategy aims to enhance the effectiveness of nutrition policy and programming by improving knowledge, stimulating learning, building evidence and providing support and encouragement to practitioners and decision-makers involved in nutrition and related interventions. ENN’s portfolio includes projects specialising in Infant Feeding in Emergencies, Wasting and Stunting, Adolescent Nutrition, Maternal Nutrition and Management of small & nutritionally At-risk Infants under six months & their Mothers (MAMI), and emerging areas of food systems transformation for nutrition, as well as our highly regarded international publication, Field Exchange (FEX) and our peer-to-peer technical forum en-net.

Purpose of the role

The Senior Technical Associate role is a key member of the Senior Technical Team at ENN. The post holder will bring extensive skills, expertise and capacity to deliver on a portfolio of our projects, provide strategic and technical direction and leadership, and manage their teams.

Terms and Conditions

· Hours of work: This is a full-time position (37.5 hours per week) for a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover). We will consider appointing two part-time positions to secure the right technical fit and skillsets.

· Type of contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract

· Location: Office or home-based

· Holidays: 25 days plus UK bank holidays increasing by one day p.a. after two complete years of service to a maximum of 27 days p.a. (pro rata) plus office closure days between Christmas and New Year

· Pension:  Auto-Enrolment to ENN scheme with a generous Employer contribution of 5%

· Salary: circa £53,000 per annum depending on experience (pro rata if part-time)

Key Responsibilities

 

1. Technical

The Senior Technical Associate will manage a portfolio of projects, lead on, and support, project delivery and develop content of technical outputs. This will involve being accountable for quality and timely delivery. The priority areas for this position are:

· Portfolio lead for ENN’s Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) and Management of small and at-risk infants under 6 months and their mothers (MAMI) projects

· Project lead for Infant and Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IFE) Project.

· Technical lead for pieces of work/activities within the IFE/MAMI portfolio.

· Senior editorial role in Field Exchange

· Institutional engagement; particularly donors and foundations

Distinguishing role characteristics include:

· Portfolio lead: – Provide oversight of the balance, delivery and directions within the portfolio, managing the portfolio team, and with responsibility for ensuring plans are resourced.

· Project lead: Ensure delivery and assure quality technical outputs

· Technical lead:  Deliver on specific pieces of work/activities within the portfolio

Examples of the types of project responsibilities the postholder will assume, depending on the specific role requirements and their relevant experience, include:

· Providing technical leadership to design, manage, deliver and ensure quality control on project areas

· Convening and facilitating working/advisory groups and leading technical meetings/consultations

· Brokering technical consensus

· Undertaking and/or overseeing research, such as scoping reviews

· Content development and shaping, having a senior editorial role

· Developing reach and securing engagement on project areas, including audience profiling and network development

· Working with our Digital Communications Specialist to identify and develop innovative communications tools and media to support uptake of outputs

· Coordination with actors as relevant to the project (internal, external, multi-agency, working groups and forums)

· Instigation of project relevant technical meetings, and ensuring their success, relevance and impact

· Reports and analysis development

· Working with the Projects Team to develop and monitor against project workplans and budgets

· Monitoring and evaluation

· Communications, donor and other reporting

· Development of portfolio specific funding opportunities and relationships.

· External representation

2. Strategic Development

The Senior Technical Associate will contribute to the overall strategic development of ENN and our strategic partners, including:

· Contributing to the realisation of ENN’s Strategy, potentially including representation on ENN’s Senior Leadership Team.

· Being aware of key developments in the nutrition (and related) sectors, identifying new activities, partners and opportunities that align with ENN’s strategy.

· Representing ENN and contributing to global groups/initiatives/efforts

· Assisting the Senior Technical Team in providing strategic engagement support for identified donors

· Development of concept notes & project proposals

3. Team and Management Responsibilities

The Senior Technical Associate will have team management responsibilities including:

· Line management responsibility for technical team members

· Manage and develop the technical (and other) skills of ENN’s staff

· Engage in the technical review of colleagues’ work

· Act as a ‘buddy’ and / or co-lead to other technical project leads if required

· Contribute to internal communications, information exchange, learning and staff engagement

· Contribute to technical debate and discussions, supporting consensus building

Person Specification

Essential requirements

· Master’s degree in nutrition/Community Nutrition, Public Health or relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience

· Strong technical acumen and knowledge of the policy, research and practice landscape (stakeholders, policies, gaps, current key topics and challenges) in International Nutrition and Health.

· Significant technical experience in the priority areas outlined above

· Significant, relevant field experience

· Strong interpersonal, facilitation, influencing, consensus building and brokering skills and experience.

· Experience in conducting research, including as lead author and for publication.

· Editorial experience and the ability to peer review and critically appraise written content

· Experience in quality assurance for technical outputs

· Experience in knowledge management, and/or projects that focus on ‘learning’

· Experience in coordinating diverse work portfolios and team management

· Experience in donor liaison, reporting and relationship management

· Experience in developing funding opportunities

Aquarius is a charity that helps people and communities overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and gambling. Right now, we’re looking for someone like you to join our NGAGE Young People’s Service in Northampton. NGAGE is an early intervention drug and alcohol service for young people aged 10-18 and we provide information, education, advice and support to young people in relation to drug and alcohol use.

Your challenge? To provide advice, assessments, brief and structured interventions and group programmes. As a Practitioner, you will be the initial contact for referrals into the service, conducting assessments via telephone, face to face and offering relevant and appropriate advice, harm minimisation, family interventions risk assessment and management, actioning onward referrals to partner agencies. You will also be required to manage a caseload.

An energetic and confident self-starter, you have a qualification in health/social care, youth and community work (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or above, DipSW, Mental Health Nursing, Counselling, Addiction Studies). Alternatively, we’ll consider candidates with experience of working in the substance misuse field with a commitment to complete NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care. As well as good knowledge of alcohol/drug and health related issues, you're used to liaising with voluntary and statutory agencies and health professionals and comfortable engaging with clients in a variety of service delivery settings. You will also have the ability to collaborate and work professionally with service users, families and external agencies to provide a service which maximises outcomes for service users.
