Key responsibilities:
Developing and executing digital campaigns and engagement strategies:
- Spread awareness about GNDR and inspire people to take action through strategic digital campaigns and innovative tactics.

Own our social media strategy, turning audience members into active participants—whether as action takers, volunteers, or donors.

Utilise organic social media growth by creating viral, shareable content.

Identify and capitalise on digital action opportunities to quickly recruit large numbers of supporters.

- Lead and manage comms volunteer teams, including design and social video teams, providing guidance and support, ensuring they clearly understand the strategy and their roles.

Facilitate regular check-ins, feedback sessions, and training to maintain high performance.

Storytelling and content creation:
- Write captivating copy for our website, social media, emails, and other channels, maintaining our authentic narrative and tone.

Working closely with the Project Manager and existing engagement delivery team, as a Senior Community Engagement Officer you’ll have the opportunity to develop and deliver community engagement plans which will enable effective working with local residents and community groups, drawing on co-production principles to achieve the community engagement goals of Project Groundwater. This is a key role working in partnership with voluntary organisations, local authorities, corporate organisations and others to help deliver improvements and increase local resilience across designated pilot communities that have been impacted by groundwater flooding.
Through your engagement with local communities, you will generate interest, support and participation in Project Groundwater whilst addressing barriers which may typically hinder resilience to groundwater flooding. As a core member of the engagement delivery team, you’ll have the chance to plan for and use a range of engagement techniques to help foster support for, and involvement in, the project – with a focus on face-to-face engagement where possible.

- Support the dissemination and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures throughout the mentoring programme.

Community Engagement

Post Title: Team Leader
Location: The post will be based primarily at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) Woolwich. However, all Redthread team members must be flexible about supporting other sites when needed. A 6-month work placement with a UK charity starting this November.

Reporting to the Director of Finance and IT, the Senior Finance Manager will support the Finance team through organisational change, will lead the oversee the month-end processes, quarterly forecasting, annual budget, cash-flow management and group consolidation. The Senior Finance Manager will be a key role in providing support and analysis to help decision-making.
What you'll be doing:
- Support budget holder's decision-making via insightful financial management, annual budget, and forecasting
- Lead on financial accounting and monthly management accounting processes
- Lead on month-end processes, including process improvements to income reconciliations

1. Deliver person centred housing related support to clients that promotes their mental wellbeing and independence supporting them to progress to a life without the need for support. To work with clients in assessing their needs to create individual personal support and plans.
2. Ensure that anti-racism, equality and diversity are central to your work addressing disadvantage, inequalities, stigma and discrimination, making sure that you take action to reach people from marginalised or disadvantaged groups and that the services you provide match their needs.
3. To network effectively with voluntary and statutory agencies to promote the needs of the clients. 4. To assist clients with benefits and housing and employment to increase income and opportunities to be suitably housed, keeping up to date with the Social Security system and housing legislation, ensuring that clients are referred for specialist advice where appropriate.
5. Focus on client involvement ensuring that clients have their views heard and that the needs and wishes of service users have an impact on the services they receive.
6. Work as part of the Housing and Tenancy Support (HATS) Team and the wider Newport staff team to develop and deliver activities that achieve positive outcomes for migrants in Newport.
7. Ensure all work is recorded and monitored and contribute to evaluating the service.
8. Work in accordance with best practice, legal requirements, the policies of Mind in Gwent, and the policies outlined by the funders.
9. Share models of good practice to aid in organisational development across Mind in Gwent.
10. To contribute to the work of other projects and teams of Newport Mind as when required or directed to provide cover or to develop new skills or take on new opportunities.

Education Officer
This is an exciting opportunity for an Education Officer to coordinate and deliver the Depaul Education programme.
Position: Education Officer - Prevention
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract: Fixed-term until 31/03/2025 (with potential for extension, pending funding)
Hours: Part time – 18.75 hours per week, working days to be agreed
Salary: Pro rata of £26,242 per annum, plus pension and other benefits

About the Role
Working with the guidance and support of the National Education Programme Manager and the wider Prevention Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the Depaul Education programme in a range of settings, including schools, colleges and Pupil Referral Units across Milton Keynes. The programme aims to prevent youth homelessness by running bold and creative workshops on the subject for large groups of young people, as well as more intensive sessions with smaller groups on related issues such as healthy relationships and conflict management. It also includes training teachers and professionals working with young people on homelessness.
You will be responsible for building long-term relationships with educational institutions to support their young people. This will include selling the programme and meeting specific delivery targets. You will also play a key role in monitoring and evaluating our work to ensure it has the highest impact possible.
Key responsibilities include:
- Effectively lead and coordinate the Depaul education programme in your region.
- Deliver the programme’s workshops to children and young people aged 11-18 in a variety of education and youth settings, including facilitating assemblies, classroom-based workshops and small group work, as well as delivering sessions virtually if required.
- Design and prepare engaging, innovative and high-quality resources and workshops that are integrated with the national curriculum and differentiated to meet the needs of children and young people with complex needs.
- Work collaboratively with the wider national team to periodically review and update the programme content, based on feedback and in line with developments in the sector.
- Take responsibility for, with full support, building strong partnerships with educational institutions in your region, including marketing the programme, generating income and meeting identified targets.
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including other agencies and statutory teams) to promote the programme and develop clear referral routes for young people into other services.
- Be responsible for the timely and accurate recording of all activities and keeping the database up-to-date, overseeing the monitoring and evaluation procedures in your base region.
- Keep up-to-date with current issues affecting young people in your region and ensure the programme is tailored to the specific needs and context of the area you are responsible for. This may include designing bespoke projects within the parameters of our programme and quality standards, if appropriate.
About You
You will need to have the following skills and experience:
- Excellent ability to work productively with children and young people: skilled at building rapport, managing behaviour and addressing difficult topics appropriately.
- Confident to deliver engaging presentations, workshops and training to large groups of children, young people and adults, both in-person and virtually.
- Experience of designing and developing high-quality and innovative educational resources, lesson plans and workshops for children and young people in line with the national curriculum and other statutory guidance.
- Strong relationship management skills, able to build constructive partnerships with a range of professionals, influence senior figures and effectively explain the impact of our work.
- Working knowledge of target-driven environments, marketing and generating income; remaining motivated and using innovative approaches to solve problems and sell our work, ensuring we reach as many young people as possible.
- Demonstrable interest in the issues and challenges that face children and young people growing up in the UK. A knowledge of themes including homelessness, healthy relationships and risk-taking is desirable.

● Board of Trustees, Advisory Committees and Sub-Committees: Assist the Chair and Secretary in recruiting and onboarding new Trustees; ensure effective support for AH’s Board and Advisory and Sub-Committees; attend Board meetings and facilitate sound advice to the Management Committee, foster communication between Board and operational staff, and ensure the effective implementation of Board decisions.
Required Qualifications:
● Experience: Demonstrated leadership track record, ideally within the VAWG services sector with the ability to strategize, motivate, and guide a team towards achieving organisational goals.
● Skills: Proficient in strategic planning, financial management, and project oversight. Excellent communication skills for fostering positive connections.
● Qualifications: Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
