As Head of Evaluation and Impact you’ll lead a small team to support us in understanding and improving the impact of our activity. You’ll develop and embed our approach to impact evaluation, enabling us to measure progress against our organisational mission, measure and evaluate the impact of our school engagement activities and share learnings with the wider community to help improve collective impact. You will bring experience of evaluation theory and methods; you will have developed theories of change and impact frameworks; and you will have led programme evaluations. About the role
Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will be responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of EngineeringUK’s work to understand the impact of our activity at a programme and organisational level. You will have responsibility for developing and embedding our approach to impact evaluation that enables us to measure progress against our organisational mission, measure and evaluate the impact of our activities and support the wider community in improving approaches to monitoring and evaluation. You will manage a small team and work in close partnership with the Head of Research with whom you may be responsible for joint objectives and deliverables. You will also work closely with the Policy & Public Affairs and Communications teams.
A key part of this role will involve leading and quality assuring evaluation plans and delivery, as well as distilling and reporting findings in a meaningful way to shape and evidence the direction of EngineeringUK’s work. A strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative methods, data analysis and experience communicating complex information to a range of audiences is therefore required
The role is London based at our office at 10 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6EN and may involve some travel in the UK. We believe that hybrid working has many benefits and are pleased to offer flexible working with a minimum of 2 days (or 40%) a week in the office and the option for a flexible start and end to the working day in our vibrant central London office overlooking the Thames. St Christopher’s is the supported housing provider for the new London Accommodation Pathfinder – an innovative new London wide service to improve accommodation and outcomes for young people aged between 16 and 17 in contact with the youth justice system at risk of custody (remand or sentence). Our charity, the Jon Egging Trust, is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people to manage our Youth Programmes in North Wales. Previous management experience would be beneficial, but not essential if you can demonstrate that you have the key skills required for the position. The role will be responsible for maintaining and creating new relationships with school staff, local partners (including the RAF and corporates) and volunteers to ensure programmes meet the needs of our young people. There will be a requirement for some session delivery in schools or at our partner sites. Working closely with the Area Director West, the post holder will be forward thinking and help to grow JET’s presence locally whilst identifying new opportunities.
The post holder will be based from home with a requirement to travel to schools, businesses and RAF bases within North Wales (predominantly A55 corridor - current schools are on Anglesey but potentially looking to expand to Rhyl and Llandudno / Bangor). Fuel expenses are paid and travel time is included as part of working hours. Core delivery time is usually within the school working day and during school terms only. All other working hours can be managed with flexibility by the post holder to ensure that meetings with partners and colleagues, plus administrative tasks, are completed as required. You will be expected to work at least four days a week.

About the Role
This is an exciting time to join Young Enterprise as we prepare to launch our Transforming Futures strategy (2024-2030).
The Marketing Executive will play a key role in helping the marketing team with two business transformation projects which are closely aligned with our Strategy: rebranding the charity and launching a new website.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person, with experience of digital marketing and branding, who can work autonomously.
The role will lead on elements of the production of marketing and communication materials in the new brand. They will also prepare marketing templates for use across the charity, providing advice to colleagues on branding and content.
The Marketing Executive will work closely with our Digital Engagement Manager to liaise with teams across the charity to prepare content and visual assets for the new website.

Your International Finance Manager Day to day will include:
- Overseeing the implementation and ongoing review of financial policies, practices, processes, and systems.

About the role
As the Senior Youth and Community, you will lead the youth team to create community-based opportunities for the whole family, in accordance with the ethos and values of the organisation. You will also support the wider team to develop and be involved in community cohesion projects involving children, families and youth.
Responsibilities (but not limited to)
*Deliver youth work sessions during half terms, after school, evenings, and residentials.
*Line manage and evaluate sessional youth workers and volunteers.
*Lead three evening sessions weekly, including Fridays.
*Manage a team of youth workers and volunteers.
*Contribute to youth work development and lead specific projects.
*Engage with the whole community, focusing on ages 10-14 and 14-19.
*Present work to stakeholders and funders to secure resources.
*Monitor and evaluate services using qualitative and quantitative data.
*Use collected data for funding applications and reporting.
About you
*Experience of managing sessional staff, and /or youth workers and /or volunteers in a supportive and empowering way
*Experience of working in a youth/community setting that has been affected by youth violence.
*Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding practices
*Knowledge of health and safety
*Experience of monitoring and evaluation of community and youth projects.
*Good l IT skills and the ability to input information into a database, use online applications to design posters, use social media to highlight and promote activities.

As Railway Children’s Community Engagement Worker (London), you will energise key stakeholders to come together to collectively keep vulnerable young people safe on the rail network. You will build and strengthen partnerships with – and between – the rail industry, British Transport Police (BTP) and others working locally with vulnerable young people in order to drive forward innovative approaches to contextual safeguarding.
As part of a dynamic team delivering the Safeguarding on Transport (ST) project, you will be responsible for developing our community engagement work in the London Area as well as supporting our wider UK programme. The role will require you to engage the public and work closely with British Transport Police, station staff and employees as well as local services in the area. You will support our innovative Safeguarding Action Groups that catalyse communities working in and around London’s stations to combine efforts and resources to keep people safe.
Your engaging manner, strong people skills and experience managing stakeholder relationships will ensure that you are able to help create a safer rail network that is actively seeking to look out for and protect vulnerable young people.

About the role
The Programme Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting Money Heroes, our largest primary programme designed to develop the financial capability of children across England and Wales. Money Heroes provides resources, training and mentoring for primary schools, as well as storybooks, games and other materials to supplement learning about money at school and in the home.
The Programme Coordinator will work closely with the Programme Manager and the Money Heroes team to ensure the smooth running of the programme, including coordinating content development and website updates, supporting the delivery of teacher training events, supporting the marketing and promotion of the programme, and supporting ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The role also works more broadly across the whole of the Programmes and Services team to ensure joined-up cohesive support is offered internally and externally to staff, teachers and other educators.
The post holder will be responsible for providing high-level customer service both internally and externally to a variety of people including teachers and other educators and YE staff. This role will also provide ongoing support to ensure we are effectively communicating the aims and objectives of our programmes to external stakeholders through newsletters, social media and email campaigns.
