An exciting opportunity has arisen to join SSAFA’s ambitious and dynamic Corporate Partnerships team. We are looking for an experienced and highly proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to manage and grow our portfolio of strategic partnerships.
About the role
We are looking for someone to lead on the successful delivery of corporate partnerships. It will be your responsibility to deliver the account management elements, ensuring all commitments are delivered whilst identifying opportunities to increase the value of long-standing relationships.
Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you will plan and execute an annual programme of content, reporting, volunteering, fundraising activities, and events to ensure the objectives of the partnership are achieved.
You will work proactively on new business approaches and delivering powerful impactful presentations on the benefits of supporting SSAFA with the aim of securing long term support.
You will attend networking and engagement events or partner events and undertake presentations around what SSAFA do and how partnerships can be formed and developed.
About you
We are seeking an experienced senior officer or manager who brings significant account management experience and is target driven, a self-starter and has a record of growing long-term partnerships as well as being successful in bringing on new relationships. If you have excellent communication and relationship building skills along with the initiative to maximise every opportunity within a partnership, then we would love to hear from you.
We are keen to find the right person for the role, and therefore happy to discuss flexible working patterns such as compressed hours or early/late start times. You will need regularly represent the charity at events and visit the offices of corporate partners so flexibility and the willingness to travel is essential.

The Outreach Lead will work collaboratively with the Outreach Manager and will involve engaging new referral partners ensuring that they aware of the support available. Referral partners may be charities, job centres, community organisations or work programme providers. By attending meetings, events and employment fairs the Outreach Lead will share the service Smart Works offers and ensure the women who will benefit from the appointments are referred. The role will also involve delivering workshops to unemployed women across Bradford in various settings and managing a cohort of volunteers to help support these.

This is a new and strategically important position in a growing team. Our advocacy - the use of information and evidence to drive change in policy, practices and attitudes - and the effective engagement of target audiences to stimulate action, is at the core of our success in forging a fairer water future.
As a senior member of the Public and Political Engagement team, the Advocacy and Engagement Manager will work closely with our Research and Operations teams, and partners across Africa, Asia and South America. They will engage with decision makers in government, business, financial institutions, multi-lateral and network organisations, local and international NGOs, and the media, to advance evidence-based solutions to the conjoined global crises of water, climate, nature and inequality.
In particular, they will play a key role in our Fair Water Footprints Campaign and the wider delivery of the Glasgow Declaration for Fair Water Footprints. With new funding from the UK Government’s Just Transitions for Water Security Programme, these game changing initiatives seek to end the abuse of water in our supply chains, and to establish responsible water stewardship as the global business norm by 2030 so that trade and business accelerate, rather than undermine, shared water security. This will be achieved through mobilising the power of scientific evidence and citizen voices to trigger change in government policies, corporate practices, financial disclosure, and political and public expectations. The choreography and delivery of this change will be a core focus of the successful candidate’s work.
This role will involve travel within the UK and internationally, including in Africa and South America, and would suit an exceptional communicator who is fluent in the technical and policy aspects of water and climate justice, and who has several years of demonstrable experience in using advocacy, communications, and stakeholder engagement to drive change. This development is key to the success of Alzheimer’s Research UK, and we are looking for a dynamic trainer/facilitator or join the L&D team to cover a period of Maternity leave.
The Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist plays a critical role in designing and delivering a broad range of learning and development programmes and catalogue of courses which support and enable individuals. We deliver a wide range of training from Masterclasses, EDI, Values and Culture, Psychometric profiling and Leadership and Development programmes and this is where you will spend approximately 80% of your time. Most of this training is delivered face to face at our offices in Abington Cambridge.
Responsible for the delivery and evaluation of facilitated classroom-based and virtual learning training, this role will help to create an environment of continuous learning and provide opportunities for individual and team development. This role will work closely with the Learning and Development Co-ordinator and will liaise with training venues, manage bookings, and oversee internal data to evaluate training requirements.
As part of the wider HR Team, the Learning and Development Trainer/Specialist will also work effectively as an integral part to the team by providing input and support into the organisational wide initiatives and projects. · Work with a variety of internal stakeholders to plan and prepare the implementation of any L&D programmes/courses, including advertising courses and dates, monitoring bookings and taking a proactive approach to increase attendance numbers when they are low.
· Complete evaluation mechanisms for learning outcomes including the use of quantitative and qualitative feedback where appropriate.
· Working closely with the L&D coordinator and Head of L&D to collate and analyse data from L&D programmes, courses and initiatives, producing reports for key stakeholders, when requested.
· Measure and assess all L&D programmes and courses for their effectiveness and business relevance and continually seek ways to improve learning solutions.
· As and when required, provide support to the L&D Co-ordinator with the administration of training courses, including diary management and database management.
What we are looking for:
· Learning & Development qualification or experience of working within a Learning & Development environment.
· Demonstrable experience in delivery and facilitating a wide range of learning and development initiatives at all levels.
· Experience of developing and implementing training programmes/workshops (including designing a variety of learning materials).
· Experience of delivering in-person and virtual training to a variety of stakeholders with different learning styles and levels of understanding.
· Experience of working with internal and external customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
· Excellent communicator, with an ability to build relationships and inspire confidence and respect at all levels. Demonstrates strong negotiation, influencing and decision-making skills.
· Excellent listening skills, receptive to feedback and demonstrates flexibility, curiosity and an ability to learn.
· Excellent planning and organisational skills, with an ability to work to deadlines and reprioritise work in accordance with the organisational needs.
· Strong team player who can work both independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Come and make a difference by joining our team reaching people who find it most difficult to access advice. Money Advice Plus work both locally in Sussex and nationwide. Our mission is to help people manage their money effectively, and our independent, confidential and flexible approach is tailored to individuals’ needs, allowing us to reach those who find it most difficult to access advice. You will be joining a large team of Money Advisers providing specialist level debt and benefit advice and casework.
We have 2 posts available - 1 based in our Brighton and Hove office, and the second either based in our office, but fully remote working possible. For both posts you will have lots of variety, providing telephone specialist debt and benefit advice and casework across a range of projects. If you are based in our office you will also deliver face-to-face advice both in the office and other outreach locations including Foodbanks and with inpatients.
Ideally you will hold a qualification in Money Advice, obtained either through the Institute of Money Advisers or the Money and Pensions Service. If you do not have a qualification, you must be prepared to work towards obtaining this, included some study in your own time. You will have excellent communication and digital skills, be comfortable delivering advice in person and by phone, and be able to plan and organise your work effectively.
