We're looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will cover West Essex (Harlow, Epping & Uttlesford), playing a pivotal role in supporting unpaid family carers who look after someone due to their age, disability, long-term physical or mental health condition or an addiction. The Program Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of NTD projects in Benin. Lepra is dedicated to addressing leprosy and lymphatic filariasis (LF) and their consequences through direct support, advocacy, and the promotion of inclusive communities. We work in Bangladesh and in India, through our sister organisation, LEPRA Society. We work in partnership with people affected by leprosy and LF to improve detection, ensure access to treatment and care, and promote inclusion and wellbeing. It is an exciting time to be coming into Lepra as we currently celebrate our organisation’s Centenary year this year. In 2023 we underwent a strategic review and developed our new 6-year global strategy to re-establish our work into the future. Located in Cockermouth, Cumbria this is a busy shop in a brilliant location, with a vibrant community! As Store Manager, you'll be leading the volunteer team, as well as focusing on further recruitment to grow our volunteer team and building strong connections within the local community to ensure the shop's continued success.
About You
You will be someone with exceptional people skills, a leader who understands the importance of community and enjoys supporting people to exercise similar passions through volunteering.
You'll bring:
- Proven experience leading and motivating teams, ideally having managed volunteers, or a retail team previously.
- A strong understanding of what good looks like in a busy and successful community-led shop, ideally with some experience within Retail or a clear passion for sustainable fashion and knowledge of products and trends.
- A can-do attitude and ability to approach challenges in a positive way, knowing when to reach out for support and guidance where you need it.

The successful applicant will carry out general admin duties in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, and processes. This is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. As an Ambassador for Mind BLMK, you will need to have a passion for mental health and an ability to operate at all levels.
Key Duties
- Carry out general admin duties in line with Mind BLMK’s policies, procedures, and processes (support meeting and greeting; post; email and telephone enquiries; finance, room bookings and meetings for fundraising and engagement / training departments; ordering and monitoring resources for fundraising and training.
- Deal with a wide variety of calls and enquiries from the general public, corporate organisations, operational staff, and managers, responding and taking action as appropriate (taking messages; relaying information accurately and on time; offer appropriate information regarding fundraising / communications and training.
- Responsible for stock checking and supplies and resources and open communication with internal and external parties.
- Ensure fundraising and marketing materials are stocked, and marketing materials are up to date.
- Monitor and maintain communications, training and fundraising email boxes.
- Liaise with internal / external parties regarding training duties as necessary and as directed by the Income Generation Manager.
- Write and send out outgoing thankyou letters to income streams.
- Help maintain an up to date and accurate supporter database and finance log.
- Provide general support to the Fundraising and Engagement Team.
- Provide general support to other Departments within the organisation.

Acting as the first point of contact for all Fundraising & Comms enquiries and in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communications Strategy, this is a busy role and will require excellent stewardship and donor care skills as well as meticulous organisation and innovative thinking. The successful applicant will generate income and support all aspects of communication and marketing, to help to maximise local support, raise awareness of our work in the community, and by providing exceptional supporter stewardship, in line with Mind BLMK’s Fundraising and Communication strategy.
Key Duties
- Engage and support stewardship and donor care for Mind BLMK’s individual givers, corporates, groups, volunteers and other supporters of the charity, in line with the fundraising strategy.

- Support the data capture, monitoring of and reporting on the effectiveness of marketing, PR and publicity activities, making recommendations as required.
- Ensure the quality assurance for the implementation of Mind branding guidelines and specifications across the organisation; reviewing, monitoring, and advising as necessary to ensure corporate identity is maintained in line with Mind BLMK policies and procedures.
- Support the functions of the publication and distribution of press materials, news stories, and updates, both internally and externally.

We are looking to grow the capacity of our church leadership to support church growth, as we both develop our base within the new Osney Mead Innovation Quarter and expand our activities across the city.
We see Operations as a key ministry in the life of the church. Our existing church Admin Team covers events, communications, volunteer coordination, data handling and safeguarding administration, whilst management roles have generally been held by pastoral staff. In appointing an Operations Leader, we are seeking someone “well respected, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom” (Acts 6:3), whose managerial skill will release other leaders to focus on pastoral ministry.
The Operations Leader will work with our senior leaders to build and run systems that support church growth, and will be responsible for:
- Cultivating a culture in which volunteers thrive
- Leading on finance, governance, HR and compliance
- Use and development of our building
- Oversight of church admin team
This is a key role in our church life and requires a vibrant Christian faith and a passion for our church’s mission. It also demands strong people skills and the ability to ensure strategies and plans are executed in a timely and thorough manner.

Your primary team will be our church Core Team. You will work each week with Steve and Bev Jones, other pastors in the church and the Admin Team.

This role will support the administrative and operational functions within our offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, together with our coffee shops and Village, whilst being the first point of contact for inbound enquiries.
We are looking for a well organised individual, with good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude to become part of our friendly team and are keen to learn and develop.
What you’ll be doing:
· Ensuring our offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow are fit for purpose, providing an environment that is welcoming to both staff and external visitors.
