Operational Leadership:

Our client is looking to fill two vacancies on our Board with individuals who can strengthen our existing skills-based Board by bringing high-level knowledge and experience in one or both of the below areas:

The successful applicant will be a member of their Board and a member of one or more of the following committees:

The successful applicants will be appointed at the July Board meeting however, their term of office will commence in September 2025. The Board typically meet online however there are approximately four in-person meetings a year, of which two also include overnight stays.

Chief Finance Officer

We are seeking a Chief Finance Officer who will manage the Cathedral Finance team and contribute to leadership across the organisation.

The Role

About the role:

This is exciting opportunity for motivated, strategic development operations professional with experience of leading fundraising operations teams.

In this role, the Head of Strategy and Operations will create and lead a world-class development operations function, play a pivotal role in developing and planning the Museum's major capital campaign, and embed best practice in fundraising and information management across the Development directorate.

Role Purpose

The Operations Director is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective running of all operational aspects of Katherine Low Settlement. This role oversees the day-to-day operational leadership of the charity, ensuring that its systems, processes, and teams are aligned with strategic objectives and compliant with relevant legislation.

This position will lead on programme delivery, financial management, human resources, IT infrastructure, risk and compliance, governance, and facilities management, ensuring that the organisation operates smoothly and sustainably. • Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, and GDPR compliance, embedding best practices across the organisation.

You will have a knowledge and understanding of the charity sector and knowledge, of the policy, and multi-agency environment in which the advice sector operates. You will have the ability to influence external change and to earn and maintain the trust of those people involved, especially funding bodies and key partner organisations.

You will also come with extensive experience of financial management and budgetary control, and a proven ability to generate income through fundraising and commissioning activities.
